Press Release From the Erciyes Scientific Council

The Erciyian Military Council and Scientific Council have release prelimineray reports on Project "Sight" or officialy designated as E.S.M.I.P.R.D. (Erciyian Scientific Military Institute Psionics Research Development) have issued several statements about the research into Psionics.

Dr. Vladimir Stravionsky who is one of the chief scientists of Project Sight said "We have been able to isolate the brain waves and patterns, along with stimuli that allow the human mind to reach out beyond its confines. We have tested this several times over and every result has been 100%. We have also been successful in creating these brain waves and patterns in subjects that did not have them, however the success to fail ratio is roughly 1 to 3. There are a few side affects involved with creating these brain waves, however we assure the populace that they are not too severe, and that all participants were aware of side effects ranging from headaches, to the worst case scenario of brain death."

The Kingdom of Chancellory would like to congratulate it's neighbor for their recent developments in this field. As always, it will continue to supplement the project with funds, scientists, and equipment.

Further Updates from the Erciyian Scientific Council

The Erciyian Scientific Council and the Erciyian Military Council have now gone into Project Sight in a co-effort, with Dr. Vladimir Stravionsky being appointed head scientist and Arch General Luis Ritradio overseeing the project.

However, the disappearances of anti-state activists continue and are repuditly being taken to secret facilities where they are the test subjects for the more "extreme brain wave influences." Dr. Stravionsky and Arch General Ritradio denounce this claim and say that it is "just more work of anti-state activisits."

In the past few days, Dr. Stravionsky has issued another statement saying "Thank you to monitary aid from the Kingdom of Chancellory and the equipment from the Scientific Council and the Military Council. The success to fail ration has now dropped to 1 to 2.8 roughly. We are also willing to share our research with countries that would be willing to aid the project even further."

the atheists reality is prepared to contribute 11.5 billion dollars to any Erciyian psychic research, provided Erciyian scientists can provide the atheists reality with defenses against any possible military aplication of your psychic research. :!:

Actually, manipulating electromagnetic fields works quite well. Although sometimes, said electromagnetic fields enhance their abilities. *cough*

Uploading 'Mental firewalls' into the brain (Normal as well as psionic) and other stuff is nice, too. Of course, traditional 'ideas' regarding defences (concentrating on a poem or whatever) is utterly useless...

Btw, make sure your normal people learn to live with them... I remember times when we had just a few telepath, organised in the metasensori division, when cars owned by normals tended to have considerable problems with their brakes whenever one of the teeps crossed the street...

Simply uploading things into the human brain is quite impossible with this day and age's technology. We have tried to stimulate the brain into creating patterns and waves that were the opposite of the ones that were produced by the Psionics, but that also did not work, instead it made the person more susceptable to the Psychic.

Here at the Psychic Research Insitute of Erciyes we do not have side show act Psychics, these have helped us find terrorist cells deep within the caves of northern Nod and find dissenters that wished to harm the Government. Exact locations, and where they were going in the next 48 hours.

Also the said Electro Magnetic field that would have to be created would cost large amounts of energy, and even then there is no telling if this would stop the Psychic's reach, or simply enhance the Psychics reach.

Also in regards to Exonerate, we would be most glad to recieve montary funding and would be interested in aerospace technology and anti-aircraft technology, you shall be hearing of us very soon.

The next step that the Erciyian Military Plans is more Military use of the Psychics and also general help for the populace.
