Common, do you actually build, sell, and buy stuff
do you just post what you are selling and people "buy" it for fun
No. You have to be realistic. You can't just go around selling nukes at one day old. It takes time to develop your economy and industries, and people know that, so they won't buy from day-old nations.
what i mean is, do we actually build stuff, or do we just post that we have.
so no having to have factories?

I sell the less common military equipment. (Light transport aircraft, BRDM2's). That I don't actuall build, buy I take screenshots of them through a game called ofp. As for the other stuff I sell, I'm becoming a multi-billion dollar small arms supplier. That stuff I see I draw, usually takes a couple days to get it how I want it, but it's worth the effort.

So how do you transmit your stuff-or basically-I take a screenshot of Halo.
I post it and say i'm selling Marines-people buy them, how do I give them marines?
You just say they have them, and describe how they arrived:
The cargo plane dipped below the clounds its rear door opened and forty paratroopers jumped out of the back.

You really can't sell people. Some nations lease spec ops or mercenaries. But if you want to take a screenshot of Halo, let's say my oh so favorite Warthog, then you save that pic. Upload it to a host, and create a post about it. Set a price, people say I want x of them for xxx dollars. Then you just say order confirmed, or that they're being shipped out soon. This is a game of words and pictures, there no real "buying" or "selling".
What is the Nation States time compared to real life time
(like 1ns year = 1 RL Week)

It is fluid time; that is, during an RP, 1 RL hour might equal 1 NS day. If a nation was researching a major project, 1 NS year might equal 2 RL day.
1 RL day = 1 NS year is a rule of thumb for most cases.
