Last night there was an explosion in Residential Tower D of The New Kingman Embassy in downtown Kalinsky, New Caucasia. Witnesses have described seeing some sort of missile or rocket slamming into the building at high speed. This morning witnesses also reported another missile hitting the main tower. The residential tower has collapsed partially and the main tower is severely damaged. The blast at the residential tower has killed at least 300 people while 18 were killed in the other blast. IT is believed that up to 500 people may be injured but no official number of casualties. Peter Doak, the chief ambassador, was among those killed. We are currently in the process of investigating the attack. We have also been notified that New Caucasian troop carriers have moved into the compound.

We did fire missiles at the embassy compound but we were justified in doing so. We believed that there were military personnel stationed there that posed a threat to us. We moved troops onto the compound also. We will not retreat.

If this is so then we will send in troops to secure the embassy as well as retaliate for the attack. We are able to send up to 1 million troops to the area within 24 hours. So far 50,000 troops have been sent.

1 million is a bit high for such a venture. Its a freaking compound, try 20,000 at most

We are sending 50,000 troops only at this point. And that is also to prevent an attack on an embassy in Anderov City.

Caras Galadon officially denounces the deplorable actions of New Caucasia. The Galadisian Intelligence service posses no information of such actions on the part of New Kingman. Caras Galadon demands that New Caucasia pull all troops from the embassy compound immediately. We further demand that their millitary shall not engage any New Kingman millitary arriving in New Caucasia and being kept on a diplomatic compound belonging to New Kingman. Failure to comply will result in the use of the Galadisian millitary.

Any agressice action taken by either part will be met with a swift and decisive counter.

OOC: I too beleive a million troops is a bit excessive.. that's 1/3 of your entire national population... 50,000 is a more reasonable number if you intend to launch an invasion...

Anyway, I have a carrier task group within striking distance and troops staioned close enough to enter the country within 3 days if needed... That's the extent of my millitary to start with, but your national leaders don't know that yet...

IC: Troops arrived early this morning to the compound and are in the process of taking back control of the compound.

At this point the situation is rapidly deteriorating. We are being bombarded by large numbers of enemy troops. We have had to commence airstrikes on staging areas. At least 25,000 troops are on the ground right now and 25,000 are awaiting offshore. The area from the shore to the embassy is under our control to prevent Caucasian troops from stopping convoys of troops moving towards the compound.
