Colerica Imperial News has just been informed, litterally moments ago, that the United Empire of Colerica has officially annexed the Armed Republic of Rilos as an imperial colony in the United Empire. The annexation was a collaboration compromise between the high leaders of Rilos, including the newly elected President Kath James, and the Emperor of Colerica, Maderic Thra.

Rilos joining the United Empire was done so to boost the slumping public moral in Rilos, and to prevent the predicted economic collapse in their country.

We will, obviously, cover this shocking and breaking news story as it happens. Stay tuned...

So much for telling the truth about this 'liberation invasion.' Eh?

The (former) Armed Republic of Rilos openly joined the Empire. It was their request to. It had been an idea circulating for several weeks between lead members of the government and it has finally came to life thanks to the bravery of the new Rilosian President, Kath James.

There is no physical (planned) military take-over of Rilos by Colerica. Now that we have finalized the documents legalizing our occupation of their nation, they have become part of the Empire by their own free will. We did not force this upon them, they requested it. I assure you.

Magistrate of State, Kressi Thra, has released a brief statement regarding the annixation of Rilos into the United Empire of Colerica...

"Annixing Rilos is what the Rilosian government requested we do. Why should we have turned them down? Why should we have said no to them? They are, after all, our closest neighbor. Besides, it's Christmas Eve. If anything else, this is Colerica's gift to Rilos. They are now part of the United Empire. We did not do this out of imperialistic intentions, but out of cementing permanent ties with Rilos. They are part of us now. Nations of the world, there is no need to be alarmed by the annexiation of Rilos."
