Help
A civil war has broking out in NS Carolina. A group of racist took over the Congress and killed the president. I, Jake Jackson is the new president. We needed help. I and parts of the government fled to Brydog. Brydog said he would help. These people want us to remove the Anti-Racism Act and since we said no, they and 1 million people have rebelled againest us.

If you want I could put down the rebellion with brute force, in other words, mobilize 1,000 mixed tanks, 500,000 men and using ground attack bombers to tear the rebels to shreads.
But this wouldn't be a good RP
A group of government soldiers attack a car full of racist. They kill all of them. The troops find a box of bomb-making materials and 5 AK-47s. In town of Gastonia, two armed men kill a government offical in a parade for the towns 300th year.

Oh, NS Carolina, don't get the feeling that the ppl aren't friendly on these forums...I asked some questions when I was a newbie and got friendly answers ;)
But I don't know how I am going to assist your nation...I wonder how well are the rebels armed? And I wonder...the rebellion is BECAUSE people want to be racist and you're not letting them? And you are a nation created today, correct?
Well...since we don't have our army done out at all, except for some tanks which aren't nearly enough a healthy variety...well...first we need to know what they've got ;)

My military presence will be minimal at best...if NS Carolina would like to suggest to me via PM some forces he'd like...please do. I've ordered a squadron of 12 fighter-bombers specifically for this purpose but would like to know what sort of military bases and or radar defense systems they have (any SAMs? etc...)
I will answer the questions for NS Carolina. They told us they are armed with civilian weapons, they are againest the Commonwealth passed Anti-Racism Act. I and the Commonwealth Regional Army will help him out.

As our squadron of DF-120's has not yet been confirmed and shipped, we will send 50 KE-1 modified UAVs through a cargo transport, as well as a bunch of skilled ... <people-who-control-them> and a few military advisors to NS Carolina.
These are highly manuaverable and are low-risk, because their weapons are civilian... included on the cargo will be ample ammunition for 30 rounds of each plane. We expect no AAA or SAMs or opposition of other aircraft, and so each aircraft will be armed with twin LAU-12 (I think that's the designation) rocket pods on each wing, as well as a Mark 83 1000-lb bomb in the center. Wingtips are left open as air superiority is unneccessary.
ETA ... whatever you want it to be, no idea how close our nations are ;)

Wow........... if you do that, that'll have them hiding.Get the military to close all gun stores
The Zoogie People

Military can't do that, I dont think, unless they are in charge of gunstores...then there's always the black market that rebellions can resort to.
Who is going to RP the rebellion side? Are they going to be any stronger?
PS - I can provide the air strikes relatively cheaply, they've got no air defense. It'd be more interesting if they had more military equipment and/or were twenty or thirty times larger heh. :D

Who, the rebels? I was under the impression that the gun shop industry was privately owned...they'll be an expected amount of anger in response to a bunch of people who used to make their living on gun shops losing their business...sure you want that?
Then, I dont know anything about sociology :)
Some of the rebels own the gun shops.

A cargo shipment of the 50 modified KE-1's has arrived in one of NS Carolina's airfields, along with ammo. The people who control the UAV's from a computer have slept through their entire flight to NS Carolina and so are mission ready almost immediately...they'll need to be briefed obviously...
"And so," says one of the military strategy advisors, smiling pleasantly. "What would you like us to bomb?"

During the briefing, one of our 'fliers' asked if there were any civilizan buildings around those bars, and if only rebels were in the area. We do not wish to engage in civilian deaths.
Meanwhile, four KE-1s are being armed.

IC:
Four light, queer-shaped aircraft took off from the air force base and proceeded to their first waypoint...from this checkpoint, they turned and headed straight for their target. This mission was simple and basic: eliminate the notorious rebels that were a threat to NS Carolina's national security.
The reports were that in the rebel-filled areas of NS Carolina, several key 'freedom fighters,' whom are more commonly referred to here in NS Carolina as racist B's, have congregated at two bars. We have been guaranteed that there will be only rebel losses and zero civilian casualties.
In echelon formation the four UAV's approached their targets at 3rd and 5th street., still a good 2,000 feet in the air.
One bomb each did the trick; only two aircraft made the first run as the other two headed to Checkpoint 2, ready to inbound back in the case that another run was needed.
With speed and deadliness, two Mark 83-based JDAMs slammed into the assigned targets, demolishing the buildings. Swooping slightly lower, the flier took several pictures, making several turns over the demolished buildings, and proceeded to fly his UAV to the next checkpoint. The other two UAV's returned to base.
All members prepared to review the pictures, save the four that were still flying their planes back to base.
The Zoogie People

Well...next would be reviewing of pictures...did the intel signify any leaders in the designated buildings?
The leaders said that those bars were full of the leaders of the rebellion.
The Zoogie People

Our first bombing run was a success - at least, as far as we can tell. Sources indicate that important leaders of the rebellion have been eliminated. We understand that some of the tanks and soldiers may not yet have arrived, and that we have only destroyed people (and perhaps a building or two :)), not the rebellion of racists itself. But this should buy valuable time for the tank and armies moving in, as instead of having time to prepare, they will need to spend the time recuperating.

OOC: I'm going to make this RP just a bit more exciting...it was getting dull and nobody was posting...so just for the heck of it...
The cargo shipment, for clarification purposes...included 2 of our F-22s, 12 DC-120 (based on the F-111)s...and a lot of ammunition ;)
IC:
Last night, a cargo ship arrived with a secret shipment...nobody knows what it is, except perhaps the men at the air force base...
------------------
Fourteen hours earlier:
A sleek black car pulled up unnoticed in a dark alley. A very secretive-looking man emerged from it and approached another, as if he knew he would be right there.
"What do you know?" he asked.
"I don't know much, as I'm not a senior official of the rebellion. But I do know that they've gotten some more hardware. They aren't civilians any more."
"Interesting," he said, hiding his shock. "What sort of hardware would this be?"
"Military equipment...they've got much more advanced...we've gotten some armor, a lot of new members, AK-47's...and even some tanks and radar."
"From where?"
"How am I supposed to know? They just popped up out of nowhere."
"Any aircraft?"
"No - but perhaps anti-aircraft after what happened to the buildings."
"Please clarify - triple A..."
"SAMs..."
"Christ...are you sure you don't know from whom?"
"Yes."
"Thank you for your time."
Once back in the car, the man reached for his cellphone immediately and dialed on a secure connection.
------------------------
This morning....
Thirty thousand feet in the air, a single UAV, unarmed, patrolled the surrounding region, searching for any clues. The weather was fine; very fine. In fact, the perfect sort of weather to take a UAV high into the air, unnoticeable to the naked eye, and take pictures from above.
-------------------
"Are they armed?"
"Yes."
"Good. Launch the flight."
-------------------
Half-an-hour later....
Three UAVs were on seperate missions: two were flying over known rebel lands, taking pictures, and returning...and repeating the process. The third kept track of the supply convoy, a group of trucks loaded with who-knows-what, but obviously heading towards the rebels. He also took pictures, but stayed on.
Meanwhile, missile silos had been located six miles from the bar on 5th street. These were still in the process of being set up, meaning no actual SAMs were available to be launched.
"The wonderful-ness of early intel," sighed the advisor, leaning back and observing the three UAV fliers.
Elsewhere, six aircraft closed in on the supply convoy. They would fire at any second now...
The men assembling the missile silo turned temporarily upwards, to the distant roar of a jet engine. It soon became apparent though, that that sound was not the one bothering them in the least. Comprehension dawned on them slowly, and they ran for their lives as their missile silos erupted in gigantic fireballs...
The convoys suffered a similar fate. Completely unsuspecting, the DF-120s swooped down at will and fired everything they had on the convoy, until it was completely obliterated. The task had taken long enough, however, for them to realize where the convoy was headed...
All twelve DF-120s returned to base.
--------------------------
But the rebels weren't destroyed completely. Three other missile silos had been completeled, and of course, unbeknownst to the intel of NS Carolina and The Zoogie People.
Right?
---------------------------
A single dark shape streaked by past the moon. Nobody would have noticed it. For one, it was forty thousand feet in the air, and but a tiny speck. The sound was barely audible. It was traveling very quickly, and went past the moon in a flash. Travelling over Mach 1, the tiny sound that followed....had anyone noticed it (if they were awake at the time), they could have looked up...and the dark shape would already be homogenous with the black night.
The pilot of this craft was slightly bothered as well with the lack of light. "This place needs more light," he muttered to himselve, as he lighted up his three targets.
His wingman, ahead of him by several hundred feet, was already ready to launch.
Barely three minutes later, all three completed missile silos were burning, brilliantly lighting up the the night sky. The SAMs were in operation and had men stationed at them. But...no signs of aircraft were found. None.
In a matter of days, no signs of the silos could have been found.
:D

Today, more strikes commenced as the pilots were briefed on the arms storehouse discovered the day before. Phot reviewing pointed out other possible targets, and informants led to meeting buildings. Our F-22s, because they will not be needed, and all spare ammunition have been shipped home. Six DF-120s patrolled various regions, taking out all convoys they saw. KE-1s and the other six DF-120s made strikes against the targets.
More or less, the heart of the rebellion has been crushed, and NS Carolina's military will be more than sufficient to put down the rest of it.
The Zoogie People's military is pulling out later today.
