Just moments ago terrorists of an unidentified radical Islamic faction have taken hostage the Parliament of the small Republic of Dovaan during closing formalities. The Prime Minister is currently safe at an undisclosed bunker. Dovaan's police force has responded to the situation and the military is being called in however noone in our peaceful nation has ever faced a situation like this before. The Prime Minister calls out to his fellow nations for support of any kind in safely rescuing Parliament.

"Sir, we've got a report of a hostage situation in Dovaan.", relays the Night Comms Officer.
"Dovaan, where the hell is that?"
"New Orion, sir. The whole parliament is being held hostage, but the PM is safe."
"Right. Analysis?"
"Unknown. The intel network is still getting set up, so we've only got sketchy reports at this time."
"OK. No forces are to be mobilised. We'll sit tight until we know more about what's happening on the ground."

The President of the Federation of Territorial Conquerors extends his condolences to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Dovaan. The President is monitoring the situation, and would mobilise forces to help, however we are awaiting delivery of our Military Transport equipment.

The President does, however, offer a Satellite Linkup with our Nation's leading Counter Terrorist Expert to advise Dovaan forces on a plan of action.

The government of The people's Republic of Beroovia joins hands with Esryia in condeming your assualt and defemation of muslims. The fact that you say the terrorist factions is "unidentified" shows how little information you have and yet you still declare it is islamic. You do not declare an motive a MUSLIM faction would have in taking the Parliament of Dovaaan hostage. Perhaps the faction is merely a political one or is there a reason which you would rather have hidden from the world?

the ARAF has evaulated the situation, begun arriving in Dovaan, and awaits the prime ministers orders.

Premier Korsant steepled his fingers, frowning deeply at the situation presented to him by his Chief of Staff.

"So you're telling me the entire Dovaan Parliament has been taken hostage? How could they let this happen to themselves? I would have hoped our allies would have stronger security around their government officials," Korsant spoke with a heavy sigh. "Is there any aid we can offer to our brothers in arms?"

"Unfortunately our options are limited. Our paramilitary forces would be ineffective in a building like that... Best we can do is offer our support in resolving this situation and bringing to justice those responsible outside of the immediate assault," replied the Chief of Staff.

"Very well," the Premier replied with a nod. "Draft a message to the Dovaan Prime Minister... Thank God at least he made it out; they can't decapitate the government completely."

The Republic of Dovaan will not back down from its initial reports of a radical Muslim faction. When you have men of arab origin rushing your Parliament with AK-47s among other weapons and yelling of Allah, you don't waste your precious time thinking "do they really represent Muslim ideals..." "how can we best approach this situation with regards to political correctness" "gee, I hope we don't offend anyone by tyring to provide as much information as we can when OUR FREAKIN' PARLIAMENT IS HELD HOSTAGE." However, as General in Chief, I must conceed that an army of Good Ole Boys brandishing shotguns may not be exactly what your nation needs when responding to such a delicate situation in which you now find yourselves. Perhaps had all your members of Parliament been armed, such as the general population of Southern Comfortation, well... I guess its too late now. A national television broadcaster has recieved a video tape claiming to come from the leaders of the terrorists holding the Dovaan Parliment.
"Be warned, infidels, our martyrs stand ready to die for their cause, but they will not die alone! For too long, the world has stood by and watched while the children of Allah have suffered, never lifting a finger unless it was for their own greedy benefit. For too long, ..." OOC: Not even one terrorist was wearing a gas mask? Not one politician had a weak heart? Come on, try and be realistic.

that kind of terrorist usually doesn't wear gas masks, especially when their YellinG. :D

The terrorists were organised enough to :
1) enter the country undetected.
2) assemble weapons
3) co-ordinate the raid
4) overcome the local security forces protecting the buildings
5) take the entire parliment buildings in a single move
6) take the entire government of Dovaan hostage including all bar one of the politicians, most of their aides and senior staff. Many of the senior civil servants of the country, and a whole bunch of administrtive staff normally associated with major government buildings.

But they are too thick to think of a gas mask? Even though there would have been plenty in the building anyway!
Not one politician, aide, civil servant or admin staff had an adverse reaction to the gas, which was so fast acting that not one terrorist could take action before being sucumbed?
Not one terrorist had a "dead-man" switch to detonate a bomb if he was incapacitated? Perhaps you used laughing gas?

you are correct Iconpart their story just doesn't add up. I put to you that this version of the events is not only highly unrealistic but blatently false. Perhaps they have something political to gain by doing this, the reason is still unclear to us. Just because they are of arab origin does not mean they are muslim, not all arabs are muslim and not all muslims are arabs, they could have been christians, especially since allah just means god in arabic and christians arabs say allah aswell. There is no need to become obsene and i am somewhat glad that your childish ministers are being held hostage if that story is true. I think your nation definetly needs new leadership.
