Daamfeck

Today the Parliament of Da'amfeck passed a law not only decriminalising but completely legalising marijuana. But like any drug, it shall have restrictions placed upon its use.

Marijuana shall not be consumed in the workplace, as this is detrimental to the efficiency of the workplace and to the safety of the worker.

Persons under the age of 16 shall not consume or buy or sell marijuana under any cicumstances.

Marijuana shall not be consumed during or prior to the utilisation of an automobile.

And that's all, folks. What do you all think? Any suggestions?

It's been legal in Diminix since the beginning of Diminix. We got like 200 fields of it. It's one of our major trade exports, you know. The second is yayo..

It has never been criminal in Da'amfeck, but now it is totally legal. We are also going to begin exporting it. And the weed on our continent is, as eloquently expressed by punk rock legend Mad Kid Disease, "Super good."

Nonchalia legalised all recreational drugs for adult use some time ago, although we do not export.

The limits are similar to those placed upon the use of alcohol in most developed countries.

While we respect your nations sovereignty we must make it clear that the sale and possession of Marijuana is strictly forbidden in La Repubblica d'Agrigento. If your nation is found selling illicit drugs to Agrigento, by means of wholesale trafficking, we will demand that you either hand over the criminals immediately to the Agrigentian Justice System (which is widely respected around the world) or accept complete responsibility as a nation for said illegal action.

It is an unfortunate fact of life that drugs will always be available, and people will always use them.

We can choose to ignore this fact and create a wide opening for organised crime and those without morals, or we can regulate and tax the drugs, and keep the thugs out.

The EI Politburo has legalized small amounts of marijuana (think DWI laws, only with marijuana) but have outlawed other hallucinogens such as LSD, PCP, heroine derivatives, opiates, unless for medicinal use. You are welcome to export to EI, but we will regulate the trade tightly, and we will also export to you if you wish, various drugs and other goods other than marijuana. However, we do not allow trafficking to other countries which do not approve of said drugs.

Drugs have found no place in Agrigentian Society and we have been dealing with Organized Crime for many years, and have it effectively under control. There is no crime in Agrigento, and there will be no moral decay. Agrigento has seen the hazards of drug trade, and drug syndicates back in the motherland, Sicily, and we vow to prevent such vile things from reoccuring in our new home.

The United Socialist Republics of Russu will follow Da'amfeck's lead on this issue.
