Article: ASW Times: New Euphoric Promises Prosperity by Tom Burton

The discovery of the euphoric effects of creep moss astounded hundreds of botanists. The intoxicating effect of creep moss

Creep moss, a natural moss found in the desolate and frozen Petrified Woods in the frozen provinces of Upper and Central ASW, was long just considered a simple moss, growing on the petrified trees and even on a good deal of the living ones.

The name "creep moss" comes from this plant's unusual capability of movement. That is, when touched, the plant has an immediate tropic reflex, causing it to move away from the contact at frightening speed. It left many biologists confused for many years as to whether it was plant or animal.

For several weeks, the creep mosses had increased in population, drowning out a good deal of the natural growing plants and shrubs, and killing new trees before they could sprout. Environmental officials declared that something had to be done, and to the end of it all, the mosses were harvested and stored in containers for research.

From research intended to find a way to effectively eradicate a good deal of the moss, something strange was discovered: the hormones produced by the plant were unlike any ever seen. Besides the typical auxins and giberellins, there was a hormone discovered and apruptly named aurix-221. The chemical compound was unlike anything ever seen before.

Testing led to the researchers looking for a medical purpose. Besides being an efficient pain-killer, it sped up electrical communications within the brain when combined with arsenic, working as a stimulant. In addition, when compined with small quantites of iodine, it decreased electrical stimulation drastically, serving as a depressant. The chemical compounds released when exposed to these two elements worked wonders for neuro-scientists in testing labs and stoners alike.

The compound aurix-221 is now available for export at 950$ per barrel roughly (20 kgs).
