The USSCR has begun construction of a massive maglev train system across the entire nation. These will consist of eight tracks in total, four on top for civilian use. One set of rails is passenger, the other freight. The bottom rails are for military/government use and have the same configuration.

Do you need assistance (money/construction workers/materials, FOC of course)?

The USSCR would be grateful for any assistance. However, it has recently made a purchase of vehicles and is very low on funding and cannot pay for services.

The Doujinshi government has been considering installing a maglev system throughout our large nation. Please report us your results, as we are most highly interested.

How will you be able to afford this? You have started a very large research center this month already...
Communist Rule
22-12-2003, 07:31
The USSCR has simply expanded the research center made originally to aide GeForce4 in a tank development. Further, we have only started and have not "purchased" the whole system yet.

Can it go vertical? For our method (very large electromagnetic tubes) of bring stuff down from our ring is costly in the power way. We could connect it to our existing system (riding the rings rim).
Communist Rule
22-12-2003, 07:45
I'm sure its possible, but if your problem is power you won't get a much better result with having to power the magnets to haul something vertically..

22-12-2003, 07:46
Well for us you just need the magnets to stop it... But thats the same problem we have with our massive "grav-tubs" (they came with the ring, you like?) so I think I shall stick with those then.

This sounds like an good idea, but, depending on the geography of our two nations, this route might have to cross over an ocean.

No matter, since it is maglev the rails don't have to be perfectly flat. Pontoons will perhaps work.

The ARSB sees it fit to donate $1 billion USD to the construction of this project and it wonders, since USSCR and ARSB are neighbors, if a joint project can be worked on, uniting the two maglev systems of each country (we would construct our own system and provide assistance to you, if needed). The ARSB has looked at upgrading its current rail system for a long while but has not had the time or motivation to do so, and this may be the perfect oppurtunity.

Soviet Bloc wishes to announce that their Maglev system (Exact same as Communist Rule's, for sake of compatability) is complete. Beginning now is the transfer of freight and passenger routes to the new Maglev system. After this is complete, the Soviet Bloc Transportation and Freight Commission will begin expanding the systems to rural depots and small-medium cities.
