Hutu Releases Two New Tanks

Hutu

After a long hard development process the nation of Hutu has released two tanks that the nation is very proud of an is sure will put them up to the next level in war technology.

H7A1 Mammoth http://members.lycos.nl/ccrenegade/pics/toolstrade/3.jpg

Crew: 7
Combat Weight: 60.6 tons
Max Speed: 55km/h
Range: 800km
Armament: Dual 150mm Cannons, 1 7.62 CoAx.
Ammunition: 100 150mm HEAT, 50 150mm Sabots
Armor: 1700mm

The H7A1 is a very large imposing tank but at the same time a very slow, very unbalanced tank. Its Dual Guns can destroy another tank with in 2km yet are only very accurate within 1.2km. Although this is a very powerful tank it has its weaknesses. Many of them are rather small, yet the slow turning speed of the turret is one of the biggest draw backs.

H8A1 Guba
http://www.battlefield.ru/tanks/kv_exp/kv4_08.gif

Crew: 2
Combat Weight: 38.4 tons
Max Speed: 74 km/h
Max Range: 860 km
Armament: 1x146mm Cannon, 1 50mm Cannon, 2x20mm machineguns.
Ammunition: 150x146mm, 100 50mm, 3,500x20mm
Armor: 1450mm

The Guba is the most technological tank in the army, it uses a high tech auto-loader system and is operated by only two drivers. It is considerably faster than the H7A1, and is the most likly to become the next Main Battle Tank for the Hutu Army.

The Nation of Hutu plans to start mass producing these tanks and possibly selling them if interest in the tanks is great enough.

((EDIT: Fixed the armor))

Perhaps we could negociate a deal between our countries if you would like.

((Thanks. BTW I just realized that on the picture of the H7 theres a small set of guns under the first, maybe i'll do a H7A2 and include those in it.))

We are also interested, watching as these two tanks develop into more efficient vehicles :) (You said the first was unbalanced)

 Come to my new region!
Hutu

Perhaps we can have a meeting aswell Zoogie

((Derotopia, don't advertise on my posts. As for the unbalanced part, we're working on that too for the A2 version as well. The balance isn't it might flip, its just that its a little harder to turn the further it goes. Since the main thing evening it up is the fuel tanks in the front and rear and as the fuel runs low the tank is harder to steer.))

If this has to be IC, I will send a foreign ambassador to the nation of Hutu. You can start :)

The Borderlands of Little Old Brittania are intrested in the tanks maybe we can negotiate some prices

Woud like to add, before we begin, that I would be willing to help fund the continued improvement of these tanks by wiring $2 billion to Hutu from my NS budget this year.

Three men stand in a room behind a table one representing the Hut government, on the company that makes the tanks and the third is the general of the army. The men wait silently checking the rooms clock every so often awaiting the arival of the scheduled amasadors to discuss the tanks that have been reccently made.
The Zoogie People
21-12-2003, 21:38
Well, I can't wait several hours...oh right I forgot to add, defense secretary advisor will be accompanying the ambassador...so I will arrive now. In NS though, several hours have transpired.
Hutu
21-12-2003, 21:49
"Welcome gentlemen." Ambasador Torj says as he takes his seat, "Now lets get down to business."

"We understand you would like to purchase some of our tanks," Mr. Herg of the Tank Manufacturing Company starts, "Where would you like to start the bidding?"

As the other men speak General Romonov sits quietly waiting for the moment to interject with his two cents.
The Zoogie People

OOC: I use NS years as 1 week = 1 year.

The advisor of the defense secretary (I suck at names, really, if you can provide any, thanks :)) begins.

"Well, The Zoogie People currently has one thousand tanks in its position, and is slated for another five hundred in the next two years. Also, we would like to see some improvements, that is, evolution, in your tank lines.

We are willing to fund Mr. Herg here with $2 billion dollars every year to help advance the two tank lines. Our decision so far is to wait as this tank line evolves, and our population, grows, and through our funding, we hope to acquire production (but not selling) rights."

EDIT for spelling.

I am interested as well. Let's talk prices.
Burcemia

may I be permitted to join in this bidding?

((OOC: This meeting is open to all nations.))

"Well, as of now we are not planning to sell the production rights of any of our tanks, and if we were the price would be considerably high for them." stated Mr Herg, "Although we would be willing to enter you nation and build a couple factories to build them and sell the tanks at a slight discount. That is of course if it would be profitable to our company."

Central Facehuggeria would like to acquire production rights for the mammoth.
21-12-2003, 22:08
I am interested in negotiating the purchase of these tanks as research in our small country is focussed on naval and air weaponary. We are developing a powerful jet that might be able to be traded once it reaches the manufacturing stages.
The Zoogie People
21-12-2003, 22:12
"That is no problem," says the defense advisor. "We will allow these tanks to be manufactured in certain regions of our country, not subject to tarrifs. This would be profitable to both of us - producing tanks within my country and selling to the government is really the same in terms of pricing as producing them ourselves, but since these are your companies, your companies will benefit as well."
Hutu
21-12-2003, 22:13
For any nation wish to become a producer of these tanks, we can only at this time allow for our company to build a factory in your nation and allow your engineers to work along side the ones we send in once the plant is built. Then if the nation is seen trustworthy enough a few can be paid yearly and the plant and production but not sales rights will be turned over to the nation but the plant will still be monitered by a couple Hutu Engineers so the tanks aren't used against us.
The Zoogie People
21-12-2003, 22:16
"So," says the ambassador, "I think it is agreeable that we will not use any military force against Hutu, at least for the forseable future. I am afraid I do not understand what you mean by 'a few can be paid yearly,' however."
Hutu
21-12-2003, 22:27
((OOC: Thats a spelling error *fee*))

Ok, you shall be required to chose the land, and clear it and then we shall send in our crews to build the factory.
The Zoogie People
21-12-2003, 22:31
I'm unable to make a map of my nation at the moment, but we will reserve as many acres as necessary of factory land (isolated) and then your crews can be sent in. State how many acres you will need (or if you wdont really want to, that's ok, I can't figure out how much is needed anyways).

Our engineers will collaborate with yours to ensure that filters and other devices will be constructed so that this factory will be as environmentally friendly as possible. We will pay any surplus over the original plans of your factory.

OOC: Bump: So it doesn't get lost in the Abyss.
Hutu
21-12-2003, 23:47
We will send in our construction crew in immediatly. The cost to your nation will be 12 Million to retrofit and redesign the more ecologially sound factory. Once the factory is up and running our engineers in the plant will only allow your nation up to 1,500 tanks per year at the discounted price of 2.3 Million each. Your yearly cost coming to. 3.5 Billion.

The plant complexe will take up roughly 24 acres and look somewhat like the following picture with a few other buildings added to contain the un-wanted bi-products.

21-12-2003, 23:49
Oh, don't worry, we won't even ask 1,500 per year and won't buy immediately. Can you send your crew three RL weeks later?
Hutu
21-12-2003, 23:51
Of course
The Zoogie People
21-12-2003, 23:53
Thank you.

"Oh, and I almost forgot," said the ambassador...he hands a check to the tank company guy and says, "This is two billion in the hopes that you will be able to continue to improve and manufacture these tanks."

:)

Thank you very much, we are already planning to upgrade the H7A1 and make it more reliable this should speed the process up some.
The Zoogie People
22-12-2003, 00:00
No problem. We will alsoo contribute an additional $2 billion next NS year. And for several more NS years thereafter if requested ;)

OOC: The armor is really bad. A M1A1 has 800MM of armor.
The Zoogie People
22-12-2003, 00:05
Oh?...well...if there's only 50mm of armor, it doesn't really match up with the picture. Perhaps you should update it, esp as you described it as a powerful tank. :)

((OOC: No idea))

Offical word from the governmental think tanks in hutu is that the H7A2 is now under heavy design(Making prototypes) and the first H7A2 should be off the line in 5 years(Next week sometime). Along with the H7A2 the Hutu Arms Company is expected to put out a new version of their jeep the H6, and also create a few new vehicles. One being a self-propelled AA gun, and a self-propelled artillary gun.

It is also rumored that the company is going to expand and be able to produce tanks, jets, and other vehicles, while producing rifles and pistols like they have in the past. Shortly after the H7A2 is produced they will put out their new line of small arms and rifles including; New Assualt Rifles, Sniper Rifles, Pistols, and Heavy Machine Guns.

Just a note, since I never got around to saying the details of the contract, which begins 4 January 2004 realtime.

I would like a total of 120 of the second and 50 of the first to be produced yearly (1 NS year), have we negotiated out a fee yet?
