Jeruselem Navy has taken delivery of a test F-16N. It is intended to replace the current F16A/B/C series currently being used alongside the current F-16E/Fs and Eurofighters.

It is not the same discontinued F-16N of the US Navy which was last used in 1993. The new F-16N is different in the following manner as it is a Navalised F-16I with the following features
* Highly strengthened frame for demanding Naval environment
* Titanium alloy used in all critical stress areas
* Shorter landing and take-off requirements as well aircraft carrier friendly (optional for land-based aircraft)
* Ability to use anti-ship missiles

As a result, our 100 inactive remaining F-16A/B/Cs will be sold off at $US 15 million each to finance production of the F-16N. DotF members get planes at $US 12 million

* 100 left *

5 F-16Is took off and met the C-5 from Arribastan.

One of the pilots wired instructions to the C-5 pilot and they proceded to the Antioch Military airbase. Technicians were running around fueling some of the 100 F-16s to be launched.

"Permission granted. Please land on airstrip 10 ... you have the all clear"the C-5 touched down perfectly, making a smooth landing. before the plane had even come to a full stop, the side door opened and the pilots began to jump out.
"can we please inspect the F-16s?"

Air Marshal Gooshan replied "Sure. If you are interested in our F-16Ns, we notify you ASAP about commercial production progress. These planes have done us good service but it's time for an upgrade." and directed them to some planes on the tarmack with technicians still doing checks. One of this officers chipped in "Most of these have been reserviced in the last year and passed checks. We are just putting on the fuel tanks and removing any of our missile armaments."

Air Marshal Gooshan smiled "My estimate, it will take the whole day to all aircraft off the ground. If you don't mind, how about your officers have a look at our test F-16N? I assume you would not mind. You can start with ones on the tarmack. They are fully fuelled and ready. When they go, the rest will be towed out.".

The Air Marshall waved his hand to some techs who started escorting pilots to ready aircraft. The Air Marshall then directed his guests to another section of the airbase. When near the destination, 'Here it is, our new baby, the new F-16N!"

when you are ready to mass-produce, please tell us. we would be happy to purchase some. unfortunately, we are nearly broke, so this would have to be at a later time, for a non-naval aircraft.

The Air Marshall smiled "No problem. Our estimate of the final price is 25 to 30 million for the early batch, but when we go fully commercial it should cost 20 million. God bless your nation and we hope your airforce can meet the threat of your enemies."

The control tower ordered "All pilots, one plane to each airstrip. Airstrips 1,3,5,7,9 go first then 2,4,6,8". No planes allowed on No 10. Planes designated for launch please get into position."

Technicians were towing out more F-16s while aircraft left the refueling zone.

(Airport runs a airstrip system where two sets of 5 parallel strips are operated independently).
