Kelvin is a L Shaped Continent with two Major Islands, 1 of these Islands tucked in the L is home to the Sultanate of Les Monts Royaux, and the other south to the middle of the L called Cook Island.

The Emperor Shares responability in running the country with a Prime Minister who is elected by 101 Representatives of their respective Districts. The Military is based on the old German Military of times Past and doesn't like the Idea of Weapons of Mass Destruction. The Economy has been having gaining ground as the new Provisional Government has made many economic advances to improve the situation after the Liberation War.

The Grand Duchy of Scanterbury is a Nation Smaller then NouvelleTerre, but yet quite large ran by a Dictatorship. The Government has been quickly making large Democratic Changes to the way the Government is ran. A Large Communist Party in the country is also attempting currently to gain power of the country in hostile uprising, though many of their leaders end up dead or missing from Government Hit Teams. The Military is Heavily Armed and well organized after the US military for the fighting it must Indure in the region. The Economy has made huge Changes to the way it has ran in the country, and the GDP has increased rapidly.

The Government is a Corrupt Capitalist Nation ran by an assembly of Leaders representing the Provinces of the Sultanate, The Governing Counsel known as the Al-Shimar has been known to accept bribes from the large Corporation as well as Organized Crime. The Military is mostly Based on the Navy, which gains the majority of the Funds for the military. The Economy is Thriving due to the Friendlyness to the Corporations of the Country.

Recent Events

A recent Nuclear Crisis with the Scanterburian Colony of Goodname gaining Nuclear Equipment as well as the Mishandling of the Peninsula Revolt brought Civil Disorder to the Grand Duchy of Scanterbury. After taxes were raised to support the Arms Race between Scanterbury and it's Neighbours brought tensions in the Country to a breaking point. The LARS virus which is curculating in the country, raised tensions above the breaking point which then sparked into a Revolution which was supported by the Tired, Over-Taxed Population.

Current Military Situation is the continued sporadic fighting in the United Socialist States of Scanterbury. The Communists have taken control of over 70% of the Country and are claiming control of tyhe Government, the NouvelleTerrian Army is defending their Border from Nationalist troops attempting to attack across the border bringing NouvelleTerre into the War. A Naval Blockade of the Coast by the NouvelleTerrian Navy, is resulting in the destruction of Nationalist and Communist Vessals and is breaking relations with both sides in the Scanterburian Conflict. So far, Foreign Support has come in very small amounts as the LARS virus is frightening any aid workers away.

Also a large unclaimed Territory lays to the East of the Countries known to the region as "Indian Territory". Expeditions have been made to servay this land but not much is known of the Relief, also a Massive Mountain can be seen on the extreme east of the continant, but is as yet unclimbed. Also a Huge Forest inhabits the south-eastern NouvelleTerre region all the way south to the town of Gimli in north-eastern Scanterbury.

News Front The Front!

War against NouvelleTerre!

Today almost 650,000 Resistance and Scanterburian Troops massed along the Scanterburian-NouvelleTerre Border, marched across under the Cover of an Artillery Barrage as well as Aircraft.

Deposed Emperor Miguez gave a Final Briefing to his High Command stating that "Today we wage War on our native soil, this is the Price of our country's Liberation from that band of Thugs!". 250,000 Resistance troops dressed in newly delivered Grey-Blue Uniforms, marched north from their Position around the Scanterburian city of Holland, where Hundreds of Thousands of NouvelleTerrian Refugees are being taken care of.
Equiped with Equipment either Taken from dead NouvelleTerre soldiers, old equipment from the 40s, 50s, and 60s, or cannabilized from Scanterburian Equipment on the long retreat through the White Forest. These inadequately trained troops know that many of them in this War of Liberation will be killed. Also 400,000 Scanterburian Troops marched North from their positions east of the Blue River seperating the two forces.

News from the Front:

Scanterburian troops of the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and the newly raised 6th corps massed all along the Eastern part of Nouvelle Terre. As well, the newly raised 7th corps is in reserve, along with the 15th cavalry divisions and the 16th National Guards Divisions.
All along the eastern side, the divisions will advance as such:
1st Corps proceeds north with 11th Armoured towards the small town of Rupert, just west of the border. 2nd Corps advances to left of 1st with 12th armoured. 4th Airborne advances to left of 2nd with 13th armoured, and 5th alongside 4th with 14th armoured. 6th Corps is on extreme left with 32nd armoured div., with 7th corps in reserve with 33rd armoured div., 15th cavalry div., and 16th national guards div.
3rd alpine corps will advance with nouvelle terre forces to take the town of lenore, and to surround and pin forces located there. airforce will concentrate on recconnaissance and bombing runs on spotted targets.

1 Sentry AEW.1 will scout out the north country for the scanterburian army, while another will scout the area north for the Nouvelle terre forces.

Resistance Forces meet Stiff Opposition in small town of La Baie

The 7th Resistance Tank Corps moved to it's First day Objective of La Baie, Corps Commander Haldon knew full well that the Heights on which the Town recides would be a Strongpoint for the first line of defense for NouvelleTerrian Forces. As the troops of the 7th Tank Corps moved forward withering fire from a NouvelleTerrian Artillery Battery impeded their Movement until the battery was knocked out by an Airstrike from Scanterburian F-16s.
After the Resistance Troops procided to storm the heights suffering heavy casualties as the incline was too much for the aging Russian IS-3s, who then moved around the heights to the East. The Positions on top of the Heights were quickly taken by the Resistance troops who then moved to attack the town of La Baie itself.

First resistance:

It was the 6th corps' 27th Infantry Division that received the first shots from the Scanterburian army earlier this morning. The 101st Infantry, commander by a Lt. Col. Hans Uhler, encountered a recon-element of the 34th Division, Nouvelle Terre army.
The 1st battalion charged at the enemy, driving them back with heavy losses. The battalion commander, Major Leon Ritchot, was awared the Army Medal for personal bravery under the face of fire. The official report was:
"Major Ritchot, while under heavy fire from the enemy, bravely advanced with a single squad of men, all of whom were hit. With a heavy captured Abrahms tank pinning down A company, he took the LAW of a dead man, and fired, knocking out the tank in the one shot. He then proceeded to advance on the enemy, firing while charging, and inspired A co. to carry on the advance. Moments later, as another tank moved up towards the fighting, Major Ritchot knocked out its treads, and immobilized it. As the battalion moved forwards, the tank crew was captured. For his bravery, he was awarded the Army Medal with Oakleaves."
All along the front the Scanterburian Army pushed back the Nouvelle Terre forces. The only heavy casualties were suffered by the 31st Infantry, the St. Mary's regiment, of the 7th Infantry Division. While fighting two enemy regiments, they managed to hold the village of St. Francis, long enough for the rest of the division to advance and push back three Nouvelle Terre regiments.
One General Officer was captured by the 11th Infantry, Regiment du Letellier. The man was Maj. General Sean A. Fordham, commander of the 44th Infantry Division, Nouvelle Terre army. He was immiediately transported back to the city of Gimli.

Light Resistance troubles Resistance Army Commander

Today 2 weeks after the beginning of the War, Resistance forces who surrounded the Mountain City of Lenore were able to take the city without much opposition at all. "This just shows that the Rebels are gonna make their stand up north", said Field Marshall Jamyl commander of the Resistance forces. The soldiers after taking the town then proceded to Pillage the city before reforming again outside the city. Many people thought to have been Rebel collaberators, as well as prisoners taken were brutally shot by frustrated Resistance soldiers, this was after the 24th Infantry Regiment found the mass graves of 2300 Lenorian Civilians.

It just shows that this war will not be one for the cameras.

Diary of Colonel John Osborne, 1st Alpine Infantry Regiment:

Earlier today the men witnessed an atrocity. Several enemy soldiers, found by our allies, were brought out of a shelled bunker. There were three of them, all unarmed and with their hands in the air.
One of our allies, an officer from their infantry, took the three men. He lined them up, and put them down on their knees. A moment later, he drew his pistol and put a bullet into the backs of their heads. A holstered it again, and shamelessly stole their personal articles. I saw his superior, a Lieutenant Colonel, stand by, not intervening.
There were other such incidents, all of them similar. There was not one atrocity committed by our own troops, as we had no similar animosity towards the Nouvelle Terre forces. These incidents further diminish our confidence in our allies.

Progress on the eastern front:

The 1st corps managed to push forwards, still not encountering any heavy resistance. Yet there were the signs of a terrible dictatorship that lingered all around them.
As the 4th Infantry Regiment advanced into the outskirts of the town of Reternbury, they found the remains of 200 civilans. They were machine-gunned, men, women, and children. The elderly were no exception, as later in the day the 2nd bn. found an elderly home bombed, with all the residents trapped inside.
The first liberated citizens of the country, around 9000 residents of the shattered town, were evacuated by trucks south to Red Cross buildings erected.

The deposed Emperor Miguez had a Press Conference earlier Today in Niverville, Scanterbury

"Since the beginning of the War, it seems that several atrocities have been commited on the part of the soldiers of the Resistance, 4 Years of senseless brutal Civil War can change even the most disiplined Men and Women. I am trying in my hardest to stop these atrocities, and I remind my Generals constantly to control their soldiers, but witnessing the bombing of Refugee columes, the shooting of thousands of Resistance prisoners and the suffering in the Refugee camps is being made up for in seconds on the battlefield."

The Emperor didn't stay to ask question as he was getting ready for the moving of his Provisional Government to the newly Captured city of Lenore.

Resistance in Northern NouvelleTerre is still alive and Kicking.

Today a Munitions dump outside the city of Garfield was blown up. The explosions could be heard 30 Kilometers away, New Emperor Jameson still hasn't released any Press Statements about attacks in Northern NouvelleTerre.

First Air Attack on Patriciaville

3 Resistance Mig-29s bombed McAlear International Airport today in a show of defiance against the Jameson Government in Patriciaville.
Major Radicon would commanded the attack stated that Anti-Air Defenses around the Capital are still thick.

Lenore Library takes Heavy damage in Missile Attack

Several SCUD missiles landed in Lenore today from somewhere to the north-east of the city. The only target hit was the local Library in the center of the city, next to the only feasible target in the area, the Provincial Capital where the Provisional Government was set to Move to this coming Thursday.

First Stronghold Assaulted!

The Scanterburian army assaulted the first major resistance encountered yet in the country. The 12th Armoured Division, under the decorated Maj. Gen. Emanuel Soares, led the attack into the town of St. Roberts's yesterday. Casualties were high, as the town was heavily defended for attacks, with machine-guns and mortars rife against the infantry. The 2nd corps' 7th and 8th Infantry Divisions advanced into the town, suffering high casualties. The three enemy divisions in the town were the 42nd Infantry, the 18th Reserves, and the 105th Heavy Tank Bn. Maj. Gen. Soares' tanks were battered by the superior Gilgamesh tanks, but managed to beat them back in successive counter-attacks.
It was here also that the first Scanterburian nationals were realeased from their prisons. There were 245 of the former Nouvelle Terre Foreign Legion, who were transported to the rear. Nearly all of them volunteered to join the Scanterburian Army or Nouvelle Terre armies in their attack against Gen. Jameson.

Also on the front:

In the west, Lt. General Goncalves' 3rd Alpine Corps held the positions around the town of Lenore, with two Nouvelle Terre Infantry Divisions, the 14th and 18th. The two armies are wary of eachother, as the N.T. troops were not pleased with the Scanterburian's dislike of their guerilla tactics.
For the men of the 3rd Alpine, having to fight only with Nouvelle Terre troops was tantamount to having been abandoned by their army. Animosity between these men and the two N.T. divisions with them is high. As well, when operations are carried out, the respective commanders of both sides neglect to inform eachother, although the N.T. commander, Maj. Gen. Brooker, has made more of an effort than his Scanterburian counterpart.

From the Diary of Lt. Col. John Osborne, 1st Alpine Infantry

Earlier this week, a SCUD missile was dropped near our positions. As medical teams were sent out, they found that one of our tents had been hit. All inside were killed.
Men began to drag out the bodies for Graves Registration crews. There were dozens of them, and the medical teams were in charge, identifying the bodies as well.
As we toiled, lining the bodies up and covering them with groundsheets, several men of the 18th Infantry, of the N.T.R., stood by idly. They lit up cigarettes, and watched us. They made no attempt to help, but merely were content to let us labour on our own. Anger flared up on both sides, and the next day two major fights occured, involving dozens of men from both sides. Amongst them was a Major of the 3rd Alpine. There were a few severely wounded from the scrap, and one man had a cracked skull.
The relations between our two armies deteriorate more and more every day. Almost every moment one of our men utters that he would rather fight the N.T.R. than the enemy.

We made ready a few days later for the attack into Lenore's suburbs. The men geared up, and climbed into trucks and halftracks. It was our corps that would lead the assault, as we were more mobile than the N.T.R., who merely had a few trucks around.
The men were still cursing them, "..the useless bastards.." as they climbed into their vehicles.
The artillery barrage opened fire, and our men moved out. There was one horrible accident, as the artillery, which was our own, accidentally hit one of our halftracks, with every man inside killed or wounded.
The battalions made it into the city, where the Nouvelle Terre army opened fire. Men piled out of the trucks, only to be gunned down by machine-guns and mortars. Enemy flares went up, requesting support, and lighting the area for them. My adjudant, Major Harold Tyrene, was hit in the back of the head as we exited our half track. A moment later, the vehicle was hit by a mortar, with myself and two others the only survivors. As I looked around, I could see that the operation was a disaster, men being cut down everywhere, the enemy setting up machine-guns in windows and doorways, bringing up SPs and infantry guns, and hammering the next waves coming in.
Our artillery had let up the barrage. I looked around for my radioman, spotted him, and moved up near him. He was panicking, pinned by a machine-gunner, and was yelling at the top of his lungs. I scrambled near him, he passed me the receiver. He entered in the codes, and I was about to radio for support when the machine-gunner found his mark, and my radioman was raked with bullets, which destroyed the radio. I lay there, helpless, as another flare went up.
Except just then, I saw our support. It was not our 2nd or 3rd waves, which were pinned down on the slopes and groves of trees. It was the N.T.R. men, who came screaming down the slopes at the Nouvelle Terre army.
We took up the advance. All around the N.T.R. men charged forwards, screaming, and firing. Machine guns and mortars cut them down mercilessly, but they still went screaming in.
We managed to push the enemy back, knocking out three SPs in doing so. Our men and the N.T.R. men set up lines in the streets and buildings, and rested for the night. It was then that we earned eachothers respect.

Excerp from the Journal of Major General Lacroix (Commanding 2nd Tank Division, 7th Tank Corps)

Today we had our toughest fight to date, nothing to compare to the fighting back in the forest from Hell. well anyways the fighting today, it reminded me of a painting of a battle on the Eastern Front during the Second World War. My 3rd Tank Regiment moved down a wide Paved Road towards a city by the name of Haldenburg, my Tanks, a mix of Russian IS-3s and much better Scanterburian Abrams. We moved along with the Infantry in behind the tanks, because we recieved a report from the Underground about a Rebel Tank Battalion in the town.

Well I knew that with the Tanks around we'd be in trouble if things got rough, so I kept the Artillery ready just in case. Just as we came within 300 Meters from the Town, Mortars began to rain down and 12 Leopard 3 Tanks appeared from a Gully to the North-West. A Tank Gunnery dual errupted as Machine Guns opened fire from Haldenburg, the Infantry rushed to the town as there wasn't any cover in the open fields as the Tanks were busy with the Leopards.
My Tanks simply overpowered the Leopards with sheer numbers, which worries me because we haven't encountered the Tank Divisions of the NouvelleTerrian Army. The Infantry took Heavy casualties out in the open and rushed the town only pushing the Machine Guns out of their positions with Bayonets. Major Krueger was Wounded in the shoulder while rallying the Infantry into the Haldenburg.
We took around 300 Prisoners but the rest of their Unit was able to get away under the cover of an Artillery barrage.
Among the Prisoners was a Member of the Scanterburian Left-Wing group that defected to Jameson's Government. May god have pity on his soul when he is returned to the Scanterburians.

From the diary of Private Willem Kaye, Sherbrook Highlanders:

We encountered our first resistance today.
Our battalion was chosen to lead the assault into the small town of Les Bois Jacques, just forty-five miles from Linden. It was my company that was selected to lead the assault into the town, with my platoon leading. And with my damned luck, they chose our squad as scouts.
We moved out, I with the SAW in my arms, and my Sergeant, Lester, a few feet in front of me. We went in, carefully but quickly, and came to the south wall of an old telephone repair shop. It had taken a direct hit from the B-52 strikes in the area, and the one wall was all that was left standing.
Sergeant Lester took me and Private Grafton forwards to recce the next square. As he led us forward, there was a sudden white puff in his chest, and his tunic rippled. There was the smell of cordite and blood. He sprawled on his back, dead. I hit the dirt. Near me, Grafton shouted and returned fire. There was an audible crack, a moment later Grafton slumped beside me with a hole in his forehead.
I was pinned down. The rest of the squad was petrified against the wall. They were all replacements, as the rest of our old squad had been killed three months before when retreating from the White Forest.
I looked around myself. There was little in the way of cover. I knew from the sound of the snipers rifle that it was a bolt-action. I quickly thought up a basic ruse, to see if it would work.
I grabbed Graftons helmet, and waved it over the buttress I was under. There was a crack, the helmet flew off my hand. Just as it happened I went bolting forwards towards a pile of sandbags. As I glanced to my right I saw the sniper, an extremely tall and muscular man, working the bolt on his rifle. As he pushed it back, he saw me, and aimed. I raised my weapon, and we both pulled our triggers.
I saw him fall, and I charged him. I was still firing, the gun jumping in my hands. I charged right next to him and blew his head apart.
I looked back at the squad, and waved them forward.
An hour later, we controlled the village.

News from the Front:

Our boys push back the enemy!

All along the front, our brave soldiers of the Scanterburian army pushed back the Nouvelle Terre army, just to the city of Linden, where they are arming up for a large scale attack on the city. With regular strikes by B-52s, F-15s, and Tomcats, the enemy is demoralized and retreating all along the eastern front.
Meanwhile, on the western front, our brave 3rd corps has pushed the enemy deep into the city of Lenore, where thousands of the enemy have surrendered. Our brave Nouvelle Terre allies have also pushed the enemy back, and are advancing on their former capital of Miguezville.

From the diary of Colonel John Osborne, 1st Alpine Infantry:

The city of Lenore is hell. All day, a machine-gunner rakes our movement with bullets. Snipers pick off non-coms and officers. Our medics, moving forward to evacuate the wounded, are a prime target of the enemy snipers.
Our N.T.R. men are complete battle nuts. They love the combat, are enthusiastic to kill the enemy, and usually lead the assaults against them, taking heavy casualties. Our neighbouring N.T.R. company, in the course of three days, has lead three successive attacks into the city, taking nearly 80% casualties. And yet they still fight on.
The respect we earned for eachother has worn thin. There is still tension between the troops, as the N.T.R. men shoot their prisoners regularly. When the enemy troops surrender, it is us that try to take them. As well, the N.T.R. men consider us cowards, as we do not hesitate to call in mortar and artillery strikes, while they charge screaming at the enemy unsupported.
We have taken one of our own prisoner. He was a young man, born in the west part of Niverville, right on the coast. Two months ago, he went with the left wing militant groups to join General Jameson's army. And he claims to having killed over a dozen men. He is a former machine-gunner, one that plagued us by nighttime, picking off men going for rations. We are tempted to turn him over to the N.T.R. men, who would shoot him in a moment. But we do not. He is turned over to the Divisional M.P.s, and disappears.
The fighting is static, and chaotic. Every day men from the regiment fall, killed, wounded. Others disappear, being captured in enemy raids.
We have found three men of the Nouvelle Terre Special Free Corps. These are the men who shot the civilians in the city. Who torture our soldiers. Who mercilessly committed atrocities against refugees fleeing to our border.
They are arrogant, and idealistic. We give them to the N.T.R. men. We hear screaming all through the night.

At dawn there are three shots.

And the fighting continues.

Resistance Forces near Port city of Alexander

The 4th Infantry and 7th Tank Corps came within 70 kilometers from the Port of Alexander today. The major landmark dominating the area was the Kemper Ridge, which would have to be taken before moving on the city itself. The Leading Tanks of the 2nd Heavy Tank Regiment still retained the Leopard 3 Tanks from before the First War started. They moved forward at a moderate pace to keep the Infantry from falling behind until one of the supporting IFVs blew up in a large fireball. They figured they had stumbled into a minefield, seconds later mortars and Machine Guns opened up on the ridge showering a hail of lead upon the advancing Infantry and Vehicles. Immediately Support troops were sent forward to push their way up thr ridge, after 10 minutes of fighting these troops themselves became bogged down in the unrelenting fire from the ridge.
Suddenly a flight of P-51 Mustangs and Spitfires roared over the advancing troops and dropped their bomb loads on the ridge, after 1 more bomb run on the ridge they flew off to the south leaving the troops to finish the Job. Major General Hanson commanding the attack then ordered the pulling back of the belegered Troops, for a night attack on the ridge.
That night, flares went up from the ridge lighting up the area hoping to reveal the night attack they knew was coming.
The same troops were needed for the night attack as were used earlier during the day. They procided to move slowly forward hoping to avoid the minefield in front of them by moving straight up the main road then spreading out to attack.
Have way up the hill a flare went up and seconds later the machine guns opened fire, almost all the men moving in the front fell immediately. Captain Burns yelled at his men to continue moving up the ridge before he was shot in the side of his head. The Resistance soldiers took cover waiting for an artillery strike which was hastily called for by the battalion radioman, in the meantime the soldiers kept alert by hurling back Grenades thrown from the top of the ridge.
After several minutes, the whistle of the 155mm shells falling frightened everyone into keeping as close to the ground as they could, and the massive explosions deafened anyone who didn't cover their ears. As the barrage lifted the Troops ran forward to assault the Machine Guns which had raked them just minutes earlier, and as they reached the top they found that the NouvelleTerrian troops had already thrown down their arms and marched forward to be taken into captivity. Many of the Men including the Brigadier who commanded the defense of the ridge were Shellshocked from the intencity of the barrage.
The Division counted 3540 Prisoners taken and 1100 Killed.

Heightened Fighting in Lenore

A large unit of the NouvelleTerrian army attacked the recently taken city of Lenore and quickly engaged Scanterburian troops advancing through the city. The City, and it's surrounding mountains hadn't been adequately checked for N.T.A troops hiding for a counter-attack, fighting is taking place between the N.T.A forces and N.T.R Troops as well as the 3rd Alpine Corps of the Scanterburian Army.

News from the Front:

At long last, the city of Lenore has been taken!
There were heavy casualties on the side of the Nouvelle Terre army, and while allied casualties were minimal, there could be no war without sacrifice. The famed reporter Johanne Trudepaarg, of Gimli, was killed in a blast moments after the city was taken.
Spirits were high as the men took a well-earned rest from the fighting. Men on both sides were seen to socialize together, with large dances and meals set up, as the Red Cross moved into the city for relief. Nearly 10,000 enemy soldiers were captured, while nearly 5,000 others were killed and wounded in the fighting.

Advance on Alexander slowed by Air Attacks

N.T.R Troops moving towards Alexander are being held up by air attacks from McAlear International Airport in Patriciaville which is about 120 Km away. The lack of anti-aircraft defenses and obsolete fighters only adds to the problems plaging the N.T.R forces moving north towards the Major cities of NouvelleTerre.

From the Diary of Colonel John Osborne, 1st Alpine Infantry

At long last the fighting is over.
Our men and the N.T.R. men were both exhausted. Enemy soldiers surrendered in droves. Most were processed and turned over to the commissariat by the two corps M.P. companies.
I talked with a Major from the N.T.R. His company had been just put on the line, many of them were foreign volunteers from Les Mont Royaux and Litherluania, as well as Scanterbury. They had fought hard in the final assault against the Nouvelle Terre army, and had taken heavy casualties. The Major himself happened to be from Les Mont Royaux, and had volunteered for service with the Nouvelle Terre forces. They had been sent here. According to what he said, many foreign volunteers from Les Mont Royaux, Litherluania, Scanterbury and Indian Territory had been filtered into specialized "assault battalions", and had been put into where the fighting was worst. They were little valued by the N.T.R. staff, and had been used as such. The Major was the only officer left of his company. All of the NCOs had been killed, and all but 20 men were casualties.
I saw the news reports of the men dancing, singing, eating. Of beautiful women kissing them, crowds of civilians dancing with the soldiers in the streets. Hordes of dirty looking prisoners marching forlornly to POW camps.
I saw little of what was shown. There was no dancing, save for the antics of a drunken noncom from our company. There was little singing, and little eating, as our rations were low, and the commissariat had been hit on the way in. There was a single mincy looking girl, 16 years old, who slept with over a dozen men from the Nouvelle Terre army, and tried to whore herself to our men. The prisoners I saw were as dirty and exhausted as we were.
The fighting was over for now.

The Scanterburian General Staff:

With the fighting in the East winding down, little resistance is being found by the Scanterburian 1st through 7th corps, as well as the armoured divisions, and thr 15th and 16th divs.

As the enemy in the west surrenders in the thousands, men are desperately needed in the west to take back the major cities, Miguezville, Garfield, and Port Alexander.

Hereby the Scanterburian General Staff will commit the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th corps to the fighting, along with the 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 32nd, and 33rd armoured divisions, and the 15th cavalry divisions. The 1st corps and the 16th National Guards division will remain behind to manage the influx of prisoners coming through the area.

The General Staff awaits the request of the N.T.R. General Staff of where the troops will be needed.

Diary of Emperor Miguez

Dated Thursday, 23 July

Today the Provisional Government has been "Officially" moved to Lenore, But it seems that sporadic fighting still occurs in the city from N.T.A elements that just keep on popping up. Also I visited some soldiers who had seen action in and around Lenore, they looked more like they'd just died and came back to the living. Their uniforms were dirty to the point where I never would of known it was Grey-Blue at one point, one of the Sergeants had his wife along with him. I also saw 2 Snipers who came from down the road, they'd also seen battle in Lenore. They were also a Married couple who had come to fight alongside each other, I asked the Man why he brought his beautiful wife along with him and his answer was most peculier, "If any Rebel Sniper see her in their scope, they'll flinch a second so I can grease them."
This War has been hard on all of us, and when we finally win this it'll be hard to rebuild. I suppose it may be harder for these people to stop killing then to embrace each other once again, also the distrust of these soldiers from the Scanterburians is well earned, I wouldn't trust someone who has known only suffering for the past 4 Years.

The men had been fighting in Lenore for over eight months. There had been heavy casualties for both sides, with our neighbouring regiment being all but wiped out. No quarter was given during the whole battle, and I was one of the few that admired the N.T.R. men for their resourcefulness and bravery on the battlefield, and their rough treatment of enemy soldiers, which was well deserved, as the bastards had killed countless civilians on all fronts.
It was with great anticipation that our unit was made a guard for the N.T. Emperor, who was moving into the city, despite sporadic firing. Ours was the only Scanterburian Unit at the ceremony, where the Emperor addressed his troops. As he moved into the new Government building, the N.T.R. men cheered, waving their weapons and helmets. It was a rousing ceremony, no doubt.
After the ceremony, our unit returned to the lines, and back to the light resistance being encountered all the time. The news had said that the battle for Lenore was over, that we were being sent food and wine, and that the celebrations were loud and boisterous.
The same day, a patrol was sent out under the command of a young lieutenant. As they moved across a small sewage stream to a shallow irrigation ditch on the other side, a mortar shell came screaming in. The men piled off to the sides. When the shell went off, the young lieutenant was dead. On a day considered the quietest in three months.

The fighting around Alexander is taking up most of our Military Strength, and the underground in Miguezville is pouring out reports about the 2nd NTA Tank Army strengthening their positions in and around Miguezville. We're estimating that Around 230,000 Troops and perhaps up to 500 Tanks are defending the Miguezville area, and we're also estimating 40,000 in Alexander.

Our Reserve of the 3rd, 5th, 6th and 9th Infantry Corps and the Newly Made 10th Tank Corps are waiting for redeployment.

Scanterburian General Staff:

The 2nd, 6th, and 7th Corps will lead the attacks into the city of Miguezville, with the 11th, 32nd and 33rd armoured divisions.

The 3rd and 4th Corps will be put into the attacks on Port Alexander, with the 12th and 13th armoured divisions, and the 15th cavalry division.

The 5th corps and the 14th armoured division will remain in reserve.

Dear, Love

We're fighting our way into Alexander, almost twice a day we recieve these damned air attacks from the Rebs. My soldiers seem more and more willing to continue the fighting even if it ends in them taking a bullet in the head from a Rebel, or maybe it's just the alcohol from the Brewery they looted Yesterday. I hope to see this war end soon, but I keep getting rumours that the Rebs are setting up to defend Miguezville to the last. If they hold up to that rumour, a lot of People will die in the next months. Anyways this war gets to you, we see the remains of hundreds of People killed by the "NouvelleTerre Special Free Corps", a group of Thugs who carry out the orders of that murderer Jameson in Miguezville. We captured several of them a few days ago in a patrol action not far from here, I heard about this and requested to see these men before they probably ended up shot by one of my men. Anyways how is the family?, is your Scanterburian Family taking care of all of you?, and how is the schools there. I hope to hear from you soon

News from the front:

Thousands of prisoners released!

Earlier today, a huge POW camp was overrun by men of the 7th tank brigade, Nouvelle Terre Resistance. The men in the camp were released, and were given food and water by their liberators. There were around 20,000 prisoners in the camp, amongst them were Scanterburian and Nouvelle Terre soldiers, nationalists, collaborationists, spys, resistance fighters, intellectuals, and thousands of refugees detained from Scanterbury's border when the army closed the border.
Amongst those liberated were Lt. Col. Justin Bonneville, of the 62nd Airborne, who had been captured in the N.T. civil war, and Lt. Col. Andre Whynot, of the 17th regiment, who had also been captured in the war.
Both were transported back to Scanterbury, and both volunteered for service in the military again. They are currently being processed and are scheduled to arrive to their former units after the war's end.

From the Diary of Lt. Col. Milward Dorrien, 106th Infantry Regiment

It will be our regiment that will lead the assault into the capital city of Nouvelle Terre, Patriciaville, tomorrow.
The men are tensed up, snap at eachother, and are generally apprehensive of the attack. They know little of combat, as our unit has not yet seen action. I myself have gone over my orders, and have briefed the Battalion COs already. My orderly, Lieutenant Lavenson, is preparing a supper of pork, provided by my counterpart, an N.T.R. Lieutenant Colonel from the 9th Infantry Corps.
He is hardened, has seen much battle over the course of nearly five years. His wife is with him, and is with us for the supper. All three of his sons are serving in the army, and his daughter is a Red Cross volunteer. Even his family pet, a Labrador Retriever, is in a dog handler's unit in our division, strangely enough.
All of us are tense, but we are all ready. I will meet my maker tomorrow, and I hope to beat him back. I look at the L.Colonels wife, and know that this country needs to be liberated. There is no other option.

N.T.R. High Command Hosts a Joint Military Briefing with Scanterburian High Command.

The Defenses of Miguezville are considerable, Strongpoints to the city are McAlear International Airport, where the NTA has the 24th Heavy Tank Battalion with T-7 Gilgamesh Tanks holding a line to keep the airport running supplies in.

The University has perhaps 20,000 troops on it's campus. The Sports Entertainment Building is the main strongpoint with 12 122mm Anti-Tank Guns with a field of fire over the Soccer Fields, which I would mind are the only really good way to move on the campus.

The Downtown region is most likely setup with Snipers inhabiting the 23 Storey T&T Building, which dominates the downtown area. We estimate 80,000 Troops in the downtown region.

For our aircraft, Anti-Aircraft Guns are setup all over the city giving excellent defense against Tac-Air. SAMs are setup next to the Capital building.

Also expect the NTA to block streets into killing zone where our troops will have to navigate.

For Victory!

The fighting within Patriciaville bogged down.
The 11th Armoured Divison spearheaded the attack into the city's suburbs. Gun emplacements and enemy armour cut the division apart, and casualties were high.
One young captain, of the 3rd battalion, 1st armoured, moved his vehicle forwards, and knocked out two gun emplacements, opening up the road for the rest of the armour column. His vehicle kept moving forward, and knocked out two of three SPs dug in in front of them. The third returned fire, and all but the Lieutenant were killed. He operated the gun himself, with the tank burning, and suffering from severe wounds, he managed to fire, blowing the SP apart. He then climbed out of the front of the tank and crawled under cover, where he died moments later. The Lieutenant was the divisional commander's son, a Lieutenant Daniel Barron Jr.
The 7th corps assaulted the south of the city, with the 106th infantry regiment spearheading the attack into McAlear airport. Artillery barrages cut the enemy defences thin, yet the 107th and 109th infantry regiments still suffered heavy casualties as the pushed in.
After three days of fierce, close-range fighting, the Scanterburian army managed to push into the city one kilometer.

Two assaults on the University of Miguezville's campus proved miserable failures. The assaults committed the 115th, 116th, and 118th infantry regiments.
All three made an attack, were repelled by murderour artillery and machine-gun fire, and were further hammered by a well organized counter-attack. Casualties were very high, as the three regiments were rallied and sent in again. They made the second attack with minimal artillery support, and managed to break the first line of defence, taking enormous casualties. The 118th regiment was completely wiped out as a fighting unit, and has been erased from the order of battle, having taken nearly 90% casualties.
An other attack on the sports entertainment building, carried out by the 122nd, 123rd, and 124th infantry, proved another terrible loss. Artillery fire drove them back with heavy losses, and the 124th's commander, Lt. Col. Dittman, decorated with a Wound Badge, was captured.
Other attacks on the city's suburbs were not successful, but merely held the lines as they were.

Cross of Valour Recipient Confirmed:

Lieutenant Daniel Barron Jr., of the 3rd bn., 1st armoured regiment, was posthumously awarded the Cross of Valour for his actions on May 24th, 2004, in the assault on Patriciaville.

His name will be put up on the Military's Hall of Valour.

3rd Infantry Corps attacked into the suburbs of Miguezville under heavy artillery fire, heavy casualties taken as they attacked into the first blocks of the North-Eastern part of the city.

5th Infantry Corps fought to complete the cutting off of the city. Light Casualties as they attacked the suburb of Emma along the Blue River.

6th Infantry Corps Straight down Main street, Heavy casualties as well placed mortar and machine gun fire slow progress into the city. A Counter-attack by the 1st NTA Tank Division forces them back.

10th Tank Corps supports Scanterburian attacks against McAlear International Airport.

34 Resistance Aircraft have been shot down over the city.

Helicopter attacks on T&T building downtown leave the building leaning procarriously to the north.

From the diary of Sergeant Wilfred Howell, Military Police Co. B, 2nd Division

We have now processed nearly ten and a half thousand prisoners from all different units in the Nouvelle Terre army. I myself have processed perhaps two hundred, often dozens a day. We are exhausted, as the flow of prisoners does not stop. They come in by the hundreds every day, and are filtered into our MP company lines to be processed and escorted back to POW camps near the border.
We hear of the news from the front, of the taking of Lenore, the taking of Linden, and, finally, that our army and our allies have reached the captial of Patriciaville.
The N.T.R. men stationed with us let up a great cheer, shouting that they wanted to be there, that they desperately wanted to see action against "Those motherf-ckers...".
We are confident in our country and its ally's ability to take back the country. We are jubilant in the realization that the war may soon be over. Our sudden happiness falls as we see the next few hundred prisoners coming in.

Diary of Emperor Miguez

Dated 13th of October

I visited an Artillery Battery today just outside Miguezville. An intristing group of people so to say. I had the Honour to decorate a Lieutenant from the 76th Infantry Regiment, he was a small man who had destroyed 4 Tanks with Molotovs, when I attached the medal to his rough and dirty uniform he smiled and I asked him about conditions in the city. He looked away with a sad look on his face then looked me in the eyes and said, "My best Friend took a bullet in the forehead while I took out those tanks, he deserves this medal more then I do." I looked back and breathed deeply, "If I gave medals to all the people who deserved them in this war, We'd have nothing to rebuild the country with."
This last battle against the NTA will be a very bloody one, I can only hope that this tragedy will end soon.

In Alexander, the last remnants of the 6th NTA Corps surrenders to the 4th NTR Infantry Corps. 4th Infantry and 7th Tank Corps to be redeployed to Miguezville, and 9th Infantry Corps to be moved to Alexander for Garrison duty.

T&T Building falls over on top of the nearby block in the Downtown District, Hit by helicopter fire the sound of the building falling was heard and felt through out the city. It is thought that 8000 NTA were killed.

A second assault was mounted on the Patriciaville University. The 32nd armoured's 13th and 15th armoured, and the 5th anti-tank, along with the 125th, 126th, and 127th infantry regiments attacked the universitry campus. There were also two regiments from the 5th Division of the N.T.R. army. A B-52 strike and two artillery barrages had reduced the formerly beautiful buildings to nothing but rubble.
The Division attacked at dawn. The 5th anti-tank was hit hard by enemy SPs and Gilgamesh tanks, and took high casualties. The three infantry regiments went into a hellfire of criss-crossing mortar and machine-gun fire, and took very heavy casualties. The 13th and 15th armoured regiments hammered the campus, knocking out gun emplacements.
A/coy, 1st Bn. of the 125th Infantry captured one battery of the artillery guns that had hammered the attacks on the campus.
The two N.T.R. regiments assaulted the campus from the other side with the 14th armoured, and took the other end of it, linking up with the rest of the assault force.
The campus was taken after ten-hours of ferocious fighting.
Enemy casualties were high, as only 800 prisoners were taken of a garrison of around five and a half thousand. It was to be found that many were killed in the B-52 strike, and the artillery barrages.

From the diary of Sergeant George Marion, 85th Infantry

We saw the first few prisoners trickling out of the city earlier today. There were around 200 of them, of the former Special Free Corps, the sons of bitches that had raped, killed, and committed atrocities against their own people for years.
They were turned over to the N.T.R. MPs, who put them into trucks. When they were short a driver, they called for volunteers. I and another man from my company volunteered, and we boarded the last truck in the line. Two hardened looking tankers with SMGs boarded the back of the truck.
We followed the convoy out of the city, driving for about half an hour before we stopped.
The flaps on the back of the trucks were opened. The prisoners were herded out. They were formed into a 10 rank deep line. My comrade and I watched from the cab of our truck. We knew what was about to happen.
The men stood in their lines, grumbling, talking, seemlingly unalarmed.
A few of the N.T.R. men climbed back into the trucks. A moment later, machine-gun barrels came poking out of the backs of the trucks. The prisoners scattered, ran screaming in all directions away from the trucks, towards the road nearly half a kilometer away. A dozen heavy machine-guns cut through them, and the fell screaming in the field. N.T.R. men ran charging into the field, and I noticed that there were two of our own men with them. They fired bursts from their rifles at the Special Free Corps men, and killed every last one of them.
We returned to the city, our trucks completely empty of enemy prisoners, save for one white-faced youth of an artillery battery.


A week later it was discovered that the men we had massacred were of the 24th volunteer defence corps, made up of men conscripted and forced into the army. They had been given the esignia of the Special Free Corps.
The Major that had driven out the convoy shot himself the same night the news was heard.
I've never been able to sleep since.

News From the Front!

Rumours are starting to circulate in the fighting units in Miguezville that Emperor Jameson has commited suicide in the Imperial Bunker in Miguezville. Field Marshall Jamyl is stating in a Press Release that "Rumours are always rampant in times of War."

McAlear International Airport Captured

Joint Forces of the 10th NTR Tank Corps and the 7th Scanterburian Corps captured McAlear International Airport earlier today in an assault to push the NTA forces out of their positions on the runway, the Heavy tanks of the NTA Imperial Guard Division were finally destroyed when 5 NTR B-25 Mitchell Bombers dropped their loads on the runway.

7th Tank Corps Attacks Toward Ruined Capital Building

The Tanks of the 7th NTR Tank Corps rumbled towards the mostly ruined Capital Building today under the cover of Scanterburian F-16s and Resistance Artillery. More and more prisoners are being taken as the Allied forces move further into the City.

Excerp from the Diary of Major General Lacroix (Commanding 2nd Tank Division, 7th Tank Corps)

We arrived in Miguezville to see nothing but a ruined heap of rubble, many buildings are merely a shadow of their former Glory. I remember going to the Allen Central Park as a child, now only one Oak Tree stands.
Yet reminders are around that show that even in times of great pain there is always the clear truth that life will undoubtably go forward. I witnessed a family sitting outside their ruined home cooking their supper over a small fire, I believe their supper consisted of a few potatoes and some canned peas cooked in a watery soup. There's a light snowfall as winter begins to set in which brings problems of it's own, the homeless wont survive the winter if they aren't givin' proper supplys. But the supply convoys from Scanterbury are frequent and plentiful, in fact I ate Chocolate for the first time in 4 Years today, and it feels nice. Oh well soon we'll be attacking inward towards the Capital Building, so I better be off, Until next time...

From the diary of Private John Roe, 8th Medical Bn.

The wounded come in droves, hundreds of them. They are maimed, legless, blind, deaf, hemmhorraged, bloody messes. Some are half insane, others are quiet. Some come in screaming, and are dead before they can be helped. Others last for days, only to die of an infection.
Our medical supplies are moderate, although we are short on some painkillers. Army surgeons, medics, local volunteers and soldiers help the multitudes of civilians, soldiers, friendly and enemy, that pass through our aid station.
With surgical supplies running low, I was sent to get some at a nearby service depot, where air drops come in every day now. I loaded my jeep with boxes of bandages, medicine, painkillers and other supplies. I unloaded them at the medical station, and they were all taken within minutes. I was sent back again, only to find that the rest had already been taken.
I returned, and assissted a local doctor in the operation on a N.T.R. mans two shattered legs. He had no painkillers, and beads of sweat stood out on his face. We finished the operation, and he was sent out to wait for the next ambulance. He died moments before it came.
The wounded give us no rest, and we work every hour. We are exhausted.

It will be the 15th Cavalry Division, and the 5th corps that will provide the Scanterburian military force to take the capital building. None of these units has yet seen action.

The 32nd and 33rd armoured divisions are on standby if needed, and all artillery regiments will bombard the the buildings.

Artillery of the 7th Tank Corps and the nearby 4th Infantry Corps has began a full Barrage of the Capital Building Region. 19th Infantry Division set to assault the Capital Building itself.

Aircraft Bomb the area almost constantly.

NTA Forces have attempted a Breakout from the Middle of the city. A Sharp 5 minute barrage was followed up by an attack by perhaps 3500 Men, and 25 Vehicles. The force was obliterated by concentrated Artillery fire and what could be the last of the NTA Tank force in Miguezville was destroyed. Out of the force 2100 Prisoners were taken.

The NTA Prisoners, I really don't trust my soldiers with taking care of them, I expect for a unexceptably large amount of them to be killed by my soldiers before they reach a Prisoner of War Camp. Diary of Colonel von Stettin (Commanding 69th Infantry Regiment, 19th Infantry Division)

In the days before, we had fought for the houses and Government buildings in and around the Capital area. It had been a long 5 Years but there it was, the den of our enemy staring outward in front of us, the old spires of the building itself had been blown off earlier in the battle and the building had hundreds of Shell holes in it. The windows and the grand doorway had been blocked off by the Huge blocked off door and wooden planks, and they provided excellent cover against incoming fire. All the holes in the Building also provided extra positions to shoot out of as became the case. With all the entrances blocked off and no Aircraft able to open a way in, we had to request a large Artillery Piece be brought up to blow a hole in the front of building. a large 155mm Gun was brought up in plain view of the onlooking Rebels, they must of been freightened to hell to the sight of such a large gun being brought up to blow them to bits. The Artillery men ran the gun just in front of us as quickly as they coould as the Rebels in the building would no doubt attempt to stop their blowing a hole in the front door. Just as they started their work, the Machine Guns in the building opened fire cutting down several of the Artillerymen immediately. I yelled out "For god sakes protect them!" and almost 1300 Men opened fire immediately raking the building in small arms fire. It gave the artillerymen the time they needed to fire a round into the building, it took a few seconds for the huge cloud of dust to clear before we saw a large hole 10 feet on the ground to the top-right of the door. "They Missed..." I mutered to myself, they quickly almost fanatically loaded another round and fired again. The dust cleared to the sight of a large 8 foot wide hole right in the front doorway of the building, I quickly yelled out "Lets get those Bastards!" and a roar from my Regiment went out as I grabbed my AK-47 and ran out on the attack with my men.
The Clatter of Machine gun and rifle fire cut down a great many of my men before we ran past the recked SAM Launchers on the building grounds. Suddenly Small arms fire opened up on our right flank which was turned to the Ministry of Defense, a Wide 3-Storey Building perhaps a Kilometer in length. With casualties mounting I cried out one more push and we'd be in the Capital, a Corporal ran in front of me as we ran into the capital. A small man of perhaps 19 years old stood in the stairway upstairs to the second floor as we ran in. He pull out his pistol and shot the corporal dead as I took cover behind a statue of a Swan, a Private then ran into the building carrying a Remington Shotgun which he used on the the small NTA soldier. The blast which hit him in the upper torso, sent him flying over the railing to his back and many NTA men came running in to force of out of the building, but the rest of the Regiment was pushing into the building and the 67th Regiment was following up our attack with a reinforcing move into the building.
We keep attacking but the NTA forces are fighting with whatever strength they have left, I moved back to listen to radio traffic in the building and away from the fighting, I finally had a break in perhaps 4 hours as I have no idea what time it is right now but the sun seems to be setting. I can barely see it with all the dust from the fighting in the city, the last days of this almost 5 year hell are finally coming to a close.

19th NTR Infantry Division Reports Capital Building Captured

The 19th Infantry Division is reporting that they've captured the Capital building in the Government section of Miguezville. They've started to clear out the Imperial Bunker underneath the Building, but haven't found so far any signs that Emperor Jameson inhabited the bunker.

The men of A co., 3rd Battalion, 59th Airborne Infantry, located the infamous leader of the Nouvelle Terre rebels that took over the country nearly five years ago.
The General looked haggered, and did not say a word when confronted by military officials. He was sent to a medical post, was checked by a doctor, and was given a shave and a haircut.
He was sent to the new Nouvelle Terre capital of Lenore in a military convoy of the 6th Artillery Transport Co.
The General was found hiding in an underground bunker twenty-five miles from the shattered capital of Patriciaville.

White Forest Cleared

Rumours of a large tank force concealed in the White Forest proved true earlier today, as men of the 1st infantry division advanced into the forest.
Those inside were demoralized and stunned, and there was little firing as they surrendered. It was revealed that those inside the forest were of the 12th Tank division and the 14th and 54th infantry divisions. There were also 200 Scanterburian nationals from the left-wing militant groups that had joined the NTA months before the war started.
Those 200 will be taken to Scanterbury for trials.

Fighting Ends in Miguezville

It was was freightenly quiet today in Miguezville, as the day before the remaining NTA Troops in the city surrendered to NTR and Scanterburian Forces. Also the Body of the imfamous NouvelleTerre Special Free Corps Commander General Baker was discovered in the Imperial Palace, he had shot himself to prevent being captured.

General Yatinikin Surrenders Garfield without a fight

The 40,000 Troops of the NTA 5th Corps surrendered their positions in and around Garfield today. The fighting is coming to a close as NTA Troops give themselves up mostly to the Scanterburian Army, Which has volunteered to take the Prisoners until further notice.

News from the front:

With Miguezville liberated, and NTA forces surrendered on all fronts, the Scanterburian army has pulled out of the country of Nouvelle Terre, leaving behind only the 15th cavalry division, as well as all divisional military police companies to handle the hundreds of thousands of prisoners coming into the temporary processing camps. Only one whole corps, the 5th, which never saw action, will remain behind, along with a General staff HQ company and the GS interrogations company. All units still in-country will rotate home within six months.
As troops pull out of the country, many men bring their new wives home with them, along with their new families.
And with their country liberated, millions of refugees come back to Nouvelle Terre, to their former towns and cities.

The Home Front:

With the troops finally coming home, the people of Scanterbury have made plenty of parades and welcoming in ceremonies for their boys.
Anti-war sentiment is still present, with nearly 10,000 people protesting the action taken by the Scanterbury government at the Parliament buildings, publicizing the deaths of some 54,000 men, and nearly 100,000 men and women wounded in the war effort.
The 1st and 2nd National Guards are at the parliament for security.
As for Litheruanian, Mont Royaux and other nationals who fought in the war, all will be receiving the Liberation Cross, instituted by Grand Duke Pruden, for their efforts to liberate Nouvelle Terre from Gen. Jameson.
All troops who participated in the war against Jameson will receive the Nouvelle Terre Liberator's Ribbon. As for those who fought in the NT civil war, they will receive the NT Civil War Ribbon.
The Army's 6th and 7th corps, and the 32nd and 33rd armoured divisions will be demobilized, but sufficient strength for re-mobilization will remain as reservists. Also, a new 8th corps will be raised, under reservist strengths along with a 35th armoured division, also under reserve strength.

Communist Attempt to Rest Control of Government

Around 500 Communists from the Scanterburian Left-Wingest Militant Group has attacked the Provisional Government in Lenore. NTR Troops Quickly reacted and fought off the attack, the attack proved to be a wake up call for the Government of NouvelleTerre under Emperor Miguez that unrest in the country is still at volitile stages.

Resistance Military to be Restructured

Emperor Miguez Stated today that the NTR Army will have to be restructured and retrained to provide a new Peacekeeping role. The Army will have to be disbanded before these actions can take place.

Militia Leaders Missing

It has been five days since the mysterious disappearance of the Communist Militant Group's leader, Dr. Frank van Dorgen. Van Dorgen organized the group's creation. Although he was not present in the militia uprising, it is rumoured that he was the mastermind behind the exodus of some five thousand people to join General Jameson's Republicans in the Nouvelle Terre civil war.
He went missing after a late-night stay at the communist rallying ground east of St. Quentin, some five miles north of Gimli.
As well as van Dorgen, five other communist leaders have gone missing.

Government Announces Huge Debt

The Provisional Government released it's State of the Empire Statistics for the first time since the Civil War began 5 Years ago. In the Stastistics they announced a 400 Billion Dollar Debt as well as casualty figures for both Wars.

Violence Erupts at Scanterbury-Nouvelle Terre Meeting

As the war in Nouvelle Terre ended, Scanterbury and its northern neighbour had been brought closer together, as a result of the sacrifice of a generation to liberate the country.
But, with public support to the war initially low, there were several large scale riots within Scanterbury, one of which resulted in the deaths of 18 protesters, 8 officers and 2 military personnel at the border north of Gimli.
With this and other minor incidents fueling on public opposition, there was the formation of the Scanterbury Left-wing Militia, alledgedly formed by Dr. Francis van Dorgen, a prominent Left-wing public speaker.
With his disappearance less than a week ago, the Left Wing Militia has broken into violence once again.
As Scanterburian officials met with Nouvelle Terre politicians for a ceremony commemoration the dead of the war, two gunmen stood up in the audience and killed Dennis Turnpike, Scanterbury's foreign affairs minister. Two others, Carol Flynn, Scanterbury's national health minister, and Edgar Harris, one of Nouvelle Terre's foreign officials being wounded, the ceremony was cut violently short.
Men of the 1st National Guards seized the two gunmen, identified as Jan Krueger and Ilse Kiergaard, two members of the LWM. Both are in a maximum security prison, and will be on trial in two months. Krueger stemmed from being an often violent and phsychopathic social outcast, to joining the LWM as an assassin. Ilse Kiergaard had been a left-wing speaker, who eventually joined the illegal group after the death of her husband, killed in the Nouvelle Terre civil war.
And now, with the national terror alert at orange, security has stepped up, and the demobilized 6th and 7th corps have been mobilized, along with the newly formed 8th corps. As well, the 32nd, 33rd, and 34th armoured divisions have also been mobilized.

Rebuilding contracts are being auctioned off by the NouvelleTerre Provisional Government tomorrow. Most of the contracts will be given to Scanterburian Company as they Helped Free the country from Jameson.

Left Wing Militia rally stormed!

A large rally of several thousand members of the violent group known as the Left Wing Militia has been stormed by the Scanterbury Police dpt. S.W.A.T. team and police force.
Seven of the rallyers were killed, and thirteen were wounded in a crossfire as members opened fire on the S.W.A.T. teams moving in. Three officers were killed, while five more were wounded. Three hundred others have been arrested, while nearly a hundred more fled the building.
Also, the bodies of Dr. Francis van Dorgen, Harold Heston Sr., Francis Harrison, Dorian Baker and Leon Heath have been found. All five were killed by gun wounds.
Protests and rallies have flared up all over the country, with civil unrest becoming more and more frequent. The causes,
-Scanterburian support in both wars in Nouvelle Terre, which had been condemned initially by the public, and also afterwards by a large majority
-The sudden violence against the LWM
- The deaths of eighteen protesters in a violent conflict against Scanterburian police near Gimli
- The lack of complete civil rights and political freedoms.

With these problems, and violence flaring up against the government, the national terror alert is at red, with security stepped up all over the country.

The First Batch of 10 Divisions making up the New NouvelleTerrian Army has been formed. These new Units along with the in process of being trained and armed NouvelleTerre Police will supply a stabilizing force to the country.

The Men responsible for arming the Communist Rebellion last Months have been caught in Lenore. Members of the new 10th Infantry Regiment Stormed an Apartment complex in the south-east of the City, 24 Men and Women were brought to Lenore Military Prison outside the city and are now awaiting judgement.

Heidi Ackart Becomes New NouvelleTerrian Prime Minister

Heidi Ackart of the Liberal Democratic Party has become the New NouvelleTerrian Prime Minister with the Help of Gustav Torstensson and his Green Party. The two parties merged to form the Majority the Liberals needed, as a result the Liberals will have to press issues brought up during the campaign such as the Deforestation of the White Forest for Uranium mining. The Official Opposition will be the Democratic Party led by Dietrich von Kemper and the National Party. The New Government will come into effect in a Month when the Parliment Building in Miguezville is Finished it's Reconstruction and refurnishing.

LWM Smashed

The deaths of fourteen more of the violent group known as the Left Wing Militia has finally ended their existence. Over three hundred members will stand on trial. Twenty-two police and military personnel have been killed in actions against the LWM.

Scanterburian aid sent abroad

Aid and relief teams from Scanterbury have been sent out to different nations around the globe, with members of the Red Cross, the Military and volunteers travelling to several nations for their civil aid. This will mark Scanterbury's first aid sent overseas.

Jameson in NouvelleTerrian Jail a Fake

In a DNA test conducted last night Dr. Fredrich Gruber noticed something odd, the DNA test of the Jameson in Jail didn't match the one taken before the Civil War. All NouvelleTerrian Soldiers had a DNA test taken from them to make sure they could be identified if Killed in Combat, the one taken from General Jameson before the Civil was different then the one taken from the Jameson currently in Miguezville Military Prison. The Identity of the man in the jail cell is unknown and the where abouts of the real Jameson is unknown. As a precaution, a hightened state of alert has been issued to all Soldiers and Police Units in the Country as Jameson is most likely trying to organize an underground.

Jameson impersonater found dead

The unknown man who posed as the infamous General Jameson was found dead in his cell yesterday night. It was not known whether it was the work of poison pills or of an assassin. Investigations into the case begin, with police from Nouvelle Terre and Scanterburian Police (under the head of a Captain Victor Klein) are into the investigation.

War Criminals Sentences Carried Out

The NTA War Criminals Sentences were implemented today, as 6 of 14 of them were sentanced to Death by Hanging. The Highest Ranking member of the Group was Major General Derek Hamilton who headed the NouvelleTerre Special Free Corps' Intellegence Wing. The Charges laid against them were 1) Crimes against Humanity 2) War Crimes. The Charges came from the Bombing of Refugee Columns in the Retreat through the White Forest and the Killings of People collaberating with the Resistance during the Civil and Liberation Wars.

Scanterburian Nationals Tried

Two hundred and fifteen Scanterburians were tried for treason, as they joined the violent army under the command of Robert Jameson. Some forty-four have been found guilty of war crimes and treason. Sixty-two will be deported to Indian Territory. Three have been sentenced with high treason and will be executed by hanging. The rest will be serving terms ranging from two to five years to double life sentences.

Gun Fire Reported near Border Town of Warrickshire

As of now it is unclear what exactly is going on near Warrickshire on the Eastern Border in the White Forest but it seems that an Armed group is attempting to penetrate into the country. The 7th Border Defence Battalion defending the area is sending out confusing reports. It is unclear what their goals are in this move into NouvelleTerrian Territory but the Army isn't waiting to find out, as the Newly Formed Ist Corps containing the 1st Tank, 1st and 2nd Infantry Divisions is being dispatched to the Border.

SSN Missing in Maneuvers

One of the Scanterburian Naval ships, of the SSN submarines, has lost radio contact while on maneuvers south off the coast of Scanterbury.
The sub, U-967, launched out of Niverville two weeks ago, has lost radio contact with its HQ, and was last reported to be some three hundred miles off of the coast. It is unclear whether the problems are technical or, possibly, the work of terrorists.

Scouts have identified General Jameson as the leader of the Force attacking into the country in the White Forest. His force is thought to be around 6000 in Strength but seems to be growing, no doubt he is spending the money he procured from the NouvelleTerrian Treasury before he was deposed. I Corps will be arriving in the area within the next day to push this guerilla force back out of the country

Economy comes on Hard Times due to large Debt

The Economy is falling on hard times due to the increasing debt of the country. The debt now estimated at 480 Billion Pounds has been increasing due to defence spending and the Heavy reconstruction of the Infastucture. New Prime Minister Heidi Ackart said today that the Debt will Increase until rebuilding of the country is nearing it's end, Emperor Miguez also stated that the Country will have to cope with a huge debt until the country is capable of paying it off. The Debt is owned mostly to NouvelleTerre's neighbours Scanterbury and Les Monts Royaux as well as several other country in which the Resistance bought supplies from during the War.

General Brooker in a Statement from the Military is erging the COuntry to seriously look into buying Nuclear Technology to build Power Plants as well as Nuclear Weapons. He also stated that with Scanterbury looking for Nuclear Technology as well as the means of Using it such as ICBMs the country would be threatened into the demandas of the Scanterburians after the War, which has left NouvelleTerre vulnerable. The 2nd Wave of the NouvelleTerrian Army's Training Program has completed. 2 Tank Divisions, 9 Infantry Divisions and an Airborne Division has completed training and is just waiting deployment through out the country. Scanterburian Troops sent north towards Nouvelle Terre

7th corps, of the second army, along with the 15th cavalry division and the 11th and 12th armoured divisions, have been sent north through Indian Territory towards the positions of General Jameson's rebels.
The Scanterburian supreme commander, Colonel General John Peter Pruden, and Grand Duke Pruden have asked the Nouvelle Terre government for permission to deploy troops to aid in the deposement of General Jameson and his followers.
As well as those from Nouvelle Terre, some two thousand Scanterburian nationals have fled the country to join Jameson's guerillas. There is also rumoured to be some one thousand other foreign volunteers, vowing to bring down the empire of Nouvelle Terre.

SSN Submarine Spotted

One of the Scanterburian airforces Sentry AEW.1 radar aircraft have located the missing U-967, under the command of a captain Jussef Pirov, whose crew went missing thirteen days ago. The radioman onboard, Warrant Officer Anthony Frank, managed to receive one short transmission, confirming that crew members are still alive within the beleagured sub.
The 1st Marine Division has been mobilized, and the troops transport ships Russell, Falk, and Browning have been dispatched with the 1st and 2nd Marine Infantry Regiments on board. Other rescue vessels will consist of:

These vessels have been sent south-west, into the area where the missing submarine went down. The AEW1 aircraft, piloted by Lieutenant James Long, will remain on duty, patrolling the area and to try and keep radio contact with the crew. The airforces second AEW1 will also be dispatched. Onboard the SS Assiniboine are 12 Airbuses, and 1 KC-10 refueling plane, all of which could be used as rescue aircraft for crew members. Other vessels will be detached to aid in the search.

Crack Para-Military Unit formed

Some twenty hand-picked men from all arms of the Scanterburian military have been chosen as part of a national crisis team to be used in national and regional emergencies. They are under the code name of
G-8. Sixteen of them will be dispatched to aid in the search for crewmen of the downed U-967.

Scanterbury gives Goodname Sovereignity

Scanterburian colonists in the colony Goodname have received their own nation, under a few terms deemed by the Scanterburian government.
1) Goodname will provide Scanterbury with soldiers if called on to do so
2) Goodname will share its resources with Scanterbury, in exchange with needed resources
3) Scanterbury will have security advisors and officials in Goodname at all times, including one division of infantry inside the country, on the east coast. The divisions will rotate at time to time

In exchange with these terms, the colony of Goodname will receive:
1) Full Scanterburian military protection
2) Option to vote for Scanterburian Prime Minister
3) Free trade with Scanterbury, which will NOT implement American tactics
4) No border patrolmen or delays when crossing into Scanterbury
5) Goodname will receive Scanterburian aid if met with insurgents or rebels. Scanterbury will also provide humanitarian aid, and will aid with natural disasters (ex. firebombing forestfires)
6) Scanterbury will provide shelter, food, and other needs for victims of natural disasters or human-made disasters
7) Goodname will be given information about their sovereign at all times, and will be given the same rights as Scanterburian citizens.

Furthermore:

All citizens within Goodname will still be under the Federal Laws of Scanterbury, and will be punished accordingly.

NouvelleTerre opens Diplomatic relations with Good Name

Emperor Miguez announced the establishment of an Embassy in the newly made colony of Good Name. The new Ambassador to the colony will be Gerhard Bund, a Diplomat who has spent lots of his life in Scanterbury.

Scanterburian SSN crew still downed

With nearly twenty ships around the area, as well as fifty planes, the SSN U-967 has still not been recovered. Communication with the commander, Captain Pirov, has been random and short.
Scanterburian navy divers have managed to locate the exact position of the sub using underwater robots. Smaller submarines have been dispatched with naval divers onboard to attempt repairs and possible extraction of crewmembers.

With the Scanterburian colony Goodname having had its own limited independence declared, some ten thousand former colonists have left the country and moved back to Scanterbury. Amongst them was former Governer Charles Beckam, who decided to leave the colony for fear of revolution.

Fourteen killed, three more wounded in Uprising

With the former General Robert Jameson still alive, and with his own followers in the east of Nouvelle Terre, nearly one hundred of the former Left Wing Militia have forced their way out of the country, taking several dozen hostages to the border.
Three were killed in the race to escape from Scanterburian officials, and two of the militants were killed as they escaped from Gimli. Seven others were arrested. Five policemen were wounded, and two soldiers were wounded.

NouvelleTerrian I Corps launches attacks against Jameson's Legion

NouvelleTerre's I Corps has began to attack Jameson's Legion which seems to be getting larger and larger, the estimated size of the Legion is somewhere between 9000 and 12,000 Well armed troops. Also parts of the new NouvelleTerrian Air Force, are in action supporting the troops as well as the Empire's new Helicopters.

Heavy Fighting in and around Warrickshire

I Corps Commanded by the recently Promoted Lieutenant General Georges Lacroix has been involved in Heavy fighting in and around the Border town of Warrickshire. The Three Divisions involved the 1st Tank (Commanded by Major General Salisbury), the 1st Infantry (Commanded by Major General Diefendorf) and the 2nd Infantry (Commanded by Major General Stryker). The Troops are attacking along with the Depleted 7th Border Defence Battalion which has been fighting a defensive battle for a Week. Jameson's Legion in Full Retreat from Warrickshire

With the Weight of Heavy Airstrikes and Pressure from I Corps, Jameson's Legion has been forced into a retreat. His force is retreating while under Bombardment from the NouvelleTerrian Air Force, he appears to be retreating towards Indian Territory to the East.

With Robert Jamesons rebels fleeing to the east, Col. Gen. John Peter Pruden has moved his garrison of the colony of Goodname north to intercept them.

Tense Moments as NouvelleTerrian 2nd Infantry Division mistakes Scanterburian Troops for Jameson's Legion

A NouvelleTerrian Anti-Tank Battalion mistook Scanterburian Abrams Tanks for Jameson's Leopard 2s. Scanterburian Troops exchanged fire against the Battalion until the Order to stop was Given over the Radio. It is unclear about casualties but General Lacroix has said that perhaps up to 50 Casualties were taken by the Unit.

Jameson Appears to be running for Litherlitharuania

Jameson's lead Units have changed direction North and now seem to be moving to Litherlitharuania. The NouvelleTerrian Government is yelling at the Litherlithuanians to Block off their Border and allow the destruction of the Unit.

"Friendly Fire" Incident Fuels Military Anger

With the military already having low opinions about the Nouvelle Terrian army, friendly fire on the 2nd Anti-Tank bn. yesterday, causing thirty-eight casualties, has brought the Scanterburian army into a rage.
Twelve men, including a captain and a lieutenant, were killed by Nouvelle Terrian anti-tank troops advacing east. Ranging at three hundred meters, the N.T. men opened fire on Co. A, 2nd AT Bn. The company commander, Captain John Welsh, was killed moments after the NT men opened fire. Eleven others were killed, while twenty-seven others were wounded.
Men on both sides recognized their allies, while others could still not see their mistake. Two NT troops were wounded.
With this incident fresh in their minds, Scanterburian Military commanders have pulled out all troops from Nouvelle Terre, including several dozen permanent garrisons from service battalions stationed there after the Liberaton war.

With no radio transmissions coming from the downed U-967 for nearly seventeen days, the Scanterburian Navy has given up its search for living crewmembers. Four coast guard vessels will remain patrolling the area to retrieve any debris or other objects washing up on shore.

Violence Flares up in Southern Peninsula

It was utter chaos earlier yesterday when former Natives from Indian Territory, now under the control of the Scanterburian Government, had a sudden and violent uprising in the city of Aubrey.
Two entire military divisions, the 41st and the 42nd Indian Divisions, were almost completely deserted, as members joined in the riots. Men of the 39th and 40th Indian Divisions also deserted, although not nearly as many.
Aubrey was torn apart in the fierce fighting, with former military soldiers using artillery and heavy weapons against the civilian populace. Nearly two thousand are estimated dead, while there have been a reported eighteen thousand other casualties.
Military and Police forces held off the rebels, taking casualties at all times.
Rebel forces are at an estimated nineteen-thousand. At their head is former Major General Killian, of English and Cree descent.

From the diary of Sergeant Ted Willis, 178th Infantry

The fighting was gruesome earlier this morning. Our men were confused, as we could not tell friend from foe. Men from our regiment had deserted to the enemy, and many of them were still wearing their militia uniforms.
We gunned down as many as we could, and they came at us with rifles and grenades. Many were only civilians, armed with old pistols and shotguns, they came out of nowhere, hiding in all windows and elevated places, killing us.
I killed three men, all civilians. The fighting still continues.

NouvelleTerre offers to Negotiate in Scanterburian Uprising

Emperor Miguez said in a News conference today that NouvelleTerre will act as a Neutral in the Conflict between The Peninsula First Nations and the Scanterburian Government. The Negotiator will be chosen by the two Governments. In the mean time Emperor Miguez hopes that a Kelvinite Peacekeeping force may be assembled to keep the Two waring parties apart.

Scanterbury Declines NT Offer

With the country of Nouvelle Terre declining Scanterburian aid in their fight against Jamesons guerillas, the government has declined. No foreign forces will be allowed to interfere with the uprising.

Rebels Suppressed!

With the Scanterburian 2nd and 7th corps smashing the rebel forces in the Southern Peninsula earlier this week, the rebellion against the government has been crushed.
Nearly twenty thousand of the former rebels have been captured. Some three dozen will be permanently jailed or executed for their crimes against the civilian population in and around Aubrey. Some seven thousand civilians have been killed or wounded by these rebels. Three hundred and fifty military personnel have been killed putting down the rebellion, while nearly a thousand more have been wounded.
Aside from those being jailed or executed, some thirteen thousand others will be deported out of the region. The government will not put up with any more terrorists. Those being deported will be flown out of the continent to unclaimed land some ten thousand miles to the south, in hostile desert and jungle. Others involved in the uprising will be tried, either to be jailed, deported to Indian Territory or let off.
As for military deserters, they will be tried, and if found guilty of their crimes, will be imprisoned or deported. Those that were forced into the rebellion will be put on a sort of parole.

Families grieve over dead of "Friendly Fire" Incident

The families of the eleven men killed in an accidental exchange of fire with allied troops in northern Goodname has gotten families of the dead angry and impatient. They demand action of military officials to take against Nouvelle Terre soldiers responsible for the shooting.
Major General Theodore Longbottom, whose 1st Division had taken the casualties, will lead the inquest into the incident along with Lieutenant General Anthony Wlock. Along with some twenty others, they will join Nouvelle Terre officials in an investigation into the incident.

1) Scanterbury - The capital of the country. Scanterbury is large and safe, notable for its large numbers of Metis and Aboriginals living in the city. The city is quite quaint, not being a very good tourist attraction.

2) Niverville - This is the largest city in Scanterbury. It is renowned for its expensive sports stadiums and arenas located all over the city. With hockey, baseball, soccer, football, curling, rugby and tennis teams all nationally renowned for their prowess in sports, the city is a superb place for athletes to train, or for sporty tourists looking for games and a good time.

3) Gimli - The city of Gimli is almost as large as Niverville, with nearly as many people living within it. It is a focal point for cultural awareness and museums, having with in it the National Museum, which houses military, natural, scientific and other precious items and displays. It is also famous for the Gimli Art Museum, which holds pieces from all over the world. The man in charge of Gimli's museums, Victor Albeira, hails from North-west Litherluania.

4) Norway House - This city is the nations main trading city. Most businesses have their headquarters here, and trade, coming in from Litherluania, Nouvelle Terre, Les Mont Royaux and Goodname is concentrated in this city. It is an industrial city, and has the highest pollution rates in the country.

5) Brandon - The city of Brandon is perhaps the best place to live in the region. It is a very beautiful city, housing some of the greatest architechtural designs in the country, and having the best residential areas of any city. It is also a great tourist destination, as it is near the nations lakes.

6) Aubrey - Aubrey is the nations most volatile place to live. The first city to be built on the Southern Peninsula, the inhabitants in the city work mainly in industrial and fishery jobs. The city is rife with low-income housing, and welfare rates soar amongst the population. Many inside the city call it a living hell, and thousands move out of the city each year. Many more opt for military and federal service in other parts of the country.

7) Selkirk - Selkirk is the nations most renowned for its love of the arts. Musical and art festivals are held here, where the cities many parks and plazas provide much room for entertainment and pleasure activities. It is a focal point for tourists.

8) St. Boniface - This city has the nations highest numbers of french speaking inhabitants. The mayor, the city counsel, and most of the city counsellors are all french speaking. Even road signs and telephone books are in french. Most services are also in the language.

9) Holland - Holland is the nations main point of trade with its northern neighbour, Nouvelle Terre. Situated on the fork of three rivers, it has become a largly industrial and business city. Most residents work for either private enterprises or federal jobs. The city has the highest rate of employment in the country.

10) Warsaw - The city of Warsaw is populated mainly by slavs, Poles, Chezchs, Russians, Ukranians, Georgians, and other eastern europeans. The city offers most services in these languages, and many within the city have federal jobs due to their prowess in languages. Those in the city work mainly federal and industrial jobs. Around the city are thousands of acres of farmland.

ANT Launches first Interregional Flights

Air NouvelleTerre had it's First Interregional Flights Yesterday as Flight 001 Flew from McAlear International Airport in Miguezville, NouvelleTerre to Holland, Scanterbury. The Boeing 747 had 165 Passengers which were the first NouvelleTerrians to fly in a Civilian aircraft into another Country. Air NouvelleTerre will be Chartering flights to Garfield, Lenore, Alexander and Linden in NouvelleTerre, and Holland, Scanterbury City, Niverville and Gimli in Scanterbury. The Company is saying that it will make services available to Litherlitharuania, Goodname and Les Monts Royaux in the near Future.

Transaction between Goodname and Unknown Partner bring Nuclear Weapons into Kelvin Region

NouvelleTerre Intellegence discovered a transaction between the Scanterburian Colony of Goodname and an unknown extraregional seller. The Announcement was made to the People of NouvelleTerre by Prime Minister Ackart during today's session of Government. She said that NouvelleTerre Intellegence doesn't believe Goodname has the capability to unleash these Weapons on anyone of her neighbours to the North and West.

Scanterbury sends Arms Inspectors to colony

Scanterburian officials, aggravated at their colonys sudden possession of nuclear capabilities, have sent some two dozen arms inspectors to see exactly what the colony posesses. As well as arms inspectors, the government has moved its entire 1st Army Corps as a temporary security measure to the western border of Goodname. The 11th, 12th, and 13th armoured divisions have also been moved to the border.

With terrorism threatening the country and the whole region, Scanterburian military officials have revealed the developement of an entire Special Forces division. NouvelleTerre Delegation in Garfield Trade Talks stomps on Scanterburian Delegation for Nuclear Program

NouvelleTerre Chief Negotiator William Hickory Confronted the Scanterburian Delegation about the Announcing of the Scanterburian Nuclear Program Yesterday. Tensions increased when the Goodnamian Delegation arrived for the day's Talks, the Discovery Yesterday that Goodname bought Uranium Cells from an Anonymous Seller, frustrations increased until the Emperor was needed to calm Mr. Hickory. The talks in Garfield have been proceding for about 2 weeks now and Trade pacts would help the rough Economies of the Region.

Jameson slips out of NouvelleTerrian Hands once again

The Surrender of the almost 6000 Jameson Loyalists in South-East Litherlitharuania has turned up no trace of Jameson. NouvelleTerrian Troops are frustrated from chasing his Loyalists for almost 230 Km without Capturing him. However NouvelleTerrian High Command has thanked the Litherlitharuanian Government for their Help in subduing his Legion.

Nuclear Arms Talks continue

Karl Milosevich, Scanterbury's minister of defense, still pushed for nuclear weapons after the disagreement of the Nouvelle Terre delegate. Milosevich still hopes for support from Litherluania and Les Monts Royaux, and as for Goodname, he is proposing a joint nuclear arms commission.

Scanterburian Troops Mobilized

With Goodname arming itself with nuclear capabilities, Scanterburian troops of the 1st and 2nd corps have moved directly into the country for security. The 3rd corps and four tank divisions are still on the national border, along with the 15th cavalry division.
Nuclear arms inspectors have found uranium and plutonium cells, proving the countrys intent on nuclear weaponry.

Scanterbury Sends Aid

With Nouvelle Terre under massive financial debt, Scanterburian civil workers have volunteered to go to the country as teachers, doctors, and other civil workers to aid the shortage of trained professionals in the war shattered country. The 16th National Guards Division is also being sent for civil aid, as well as the 1st and 2nd railway bns, the 1st through 3rd labour bns, and the bomb disposal co, all of the military's corps of engineers. QM General Brooks will accompany the men into the country.

War Monument Unveiled in Miguezville Honouring War Dead

The NouvelleTerrian Civil and Liberation Wars Monument was unveiled Yesterday in a Solumn Ceremony with almost 300,000 People in attendance. The Monument which is located on the Miguezville University Campus is almost 15,500 Square Meters in Size and Contains the Names of 718,749 Military Personnel Thought to be Dead, 12,375 Missing, and the Names of 1,976,361 Civilians Thought to have been Killed. The Monument itself a Massive, Long Marble Maze with a Large Statue in the Middle with 3 Soldiers representing the 3 Sides involved was also unveiled by the Emperor as well as the Prime Minister.

G-8 Man missing!

The Scanterburian National Crisis Team, G-8, has lost a member of its team.
Warrant Officer Stanislaus Ritter went missing as the team moved north east towards Goodname earlier this morning. He had been on board a second supply helicopter, apart from the G-8 helicopter that the team usually used. As the two helicopters moved forward, an electrical storm erupted. The first helicopter managed to land safely, but the supply helicpoter, carrying several crates of medical and ration supplies, went down over Blue Lake, two hundred miles west of Brandon. The two helicopter crewmen, Warrant Officer Brad Hadley and Sergeant First Class Earl Ward were rescued as their beacon flashed. But WO Ritter is still missing, and is believed to be dead.

Last night, Litherlitharuanian Elite Special Forces shattered the the terrorists hold on an off shore oil platform just south of Xunmnershtien.

24 hostages were saved by the LESF, some with only minor injuries, most completly unharmed. 7 more or the workers held hostage are unacounted for.

With Litherluanians flocking to see the animals in the world renowned zoos in the country, Scanterburian officials have made a deal with the leader, Osama bin Hallatt, to send a number of animals to the zoo. In exchange, however, the country requests one man animal sent to the zoo to serve as peacekeepers to secure the Colony of Goodname.

Scanterbury will send some fifteen-hundred different specimens.

Prime Minister Ackart Declares no Deficit in Government

With a Loud Hurrah from the Liberals and the Greens, Prime Minister Heidi Ackart declared a stop to the Deficit and the start of paying the now 503 Billion Dollar Debt. With the Help of Rebuilding Contracts and the Generosity of Kelvinites, Ackart hopes to Eliminate the Debt within 15 Years.

International Support numbers exceeded!

With the Federation of USS Sentra having promised to send ten thousand troops to the region, they have agreed now to send one hundred thousand personnel to act as combat soldiers to stabilize the region. In exchange, they request future military support from Scanterbury.

NouvelleTerrian Foreign Legion Faces First Combat since Liberation War

The NTFL commanded by Brigadier Willie van Horn faced its first Combat since fighting North of Miguezville against the remnants of the NTA IX Corps. A Group of Jameson Loyalists with Unknown strength opened fire on the Legion as it moved South Towards the Southern Provincial Capital of Linden. They quickly returned fire against the attacking force and then scattered the Force. Brigadier van Horn was Proud with the preformance of the Legion saying that "The Legion quickly repositioned to face and break up the attacking force in front of us, they did so with the Professionalism Displayed by the Legion through out it's History".

Illegal Action taken by Scanterbury!

Although nearly a month earlier Nouvelle Terre officials rejected Scanterburian aid in deposing of Jameson, the Scanterburian National Crisis Team, or, G-8, have been dropped into the north of the country, disguised as NTA soldiers. Their aim is to assassinate the former general Robert Jameson, and end the fighting in Nouvelle Terre.

Two more Dead Found

The accident involving the National Crisis Team just one week ago has been further investigated upon.
More findings have located the body of Warrant Officer Stanislaus Ritter, and two more bodies of the supply helicpoter crew. These men were not of the NCT, but were two airforce personnel. They were Corporal James Eisen, and Private Helmuth Furtner.

(under a new law) "I think we should just leave them alone" Says colledge proffesor, Earl Davenfield, then adding, "If that fool McKay keeps mouthing off to stronger nations that his own, he'll get what's coming to him anyways, and then we'll all be happy!"

Osama bin Hallatt is reportedly not ready to do anything brash at the moment, although most Litherlitharuanian citizens are just itching for a fight.

Litherlitharuania has heard little about terrorist since the bust made by the LESF. Except for a few false alarms here and there, there has been no indication that the unknown group is still even present in Litherlitharuania.

But Gen. Rick Mills of the LESF says that the terrorists are still out there. "Everybody is putting down their guards down, thats just what these terrorists want us to do!" Says Mills. "They're out there some where, and it's only a matter of time before they strike again."

There still isn't any new information as to the location and/or fate of the seven missing oil platform workers, but searches continue.

Litherlitharuanian zoos were accepted by Osama bin Hallatt for additional funding yesterday, triggered by massive attendence. John Freeman, the CEO and owner of Litherlitharuanian National Zoos Inc. said during a press conference last night, that the money will go towards not only accomidating a drastic increase of people visiting the zoos, but also to accomidate the number of new animals being added to the zoos at a fantastic rate.

"We've received tons of animal donations from places like Scanterbury and NouvelleTerre. We need more places to put them, and more employes to help run things here, that money is just what we need." Says Freeman. The zoos now have over 40,000 animals and 6,000 deffenent spiecies.

A Group of Gunmen opened fire Yesterday on a Checkpoint 15 Km North of Miguezville. The Gunmen, who snuck up behind a Nearby Hill attacked at around 2 AM this morning with Small Arms and Machine Gun fire. The Melee lasted 20 Minutes and only the Sudden arrival of 3 MiG-35s put an end to the Gunfire, afterwards the 40 Men Guarding the Checkpoint moved to push the Band back towards the North-West.

Bomb goes off in Busy Garfield Street

It was a Busy, Regular day today in Garfield until a bomb went off in Murray Central Shopping Mall. The Bomb which was near the Food Court injured 12 People as it seemed to have been facing towards the Dairy Queen located in the Court, the injured were rushed to Harris General Hospital in downtown Garfield. Garfieldian Police is looking into the matter.

Miguezville Univercity set to Open for Autumn

Emperor Miguez announced that Miguezville Univercity will be opened for the first time since the Battle of Miguezville ended almost 2 years ago. The Univercity which was Completely Destroyed during the Battle, mostly by Scanterburian B-52 Carpet Bombing Raids, will be ready to take nearly 12,000 Students for the First Year.

Parliment was noisy today as debates began about options about the Goodname Nuclear Crisis. The Official Opposition questioned Prime Minister Ackart's Choice to Negotiate with Prime Minister McKay of Goodname about disarming his Nuclear Equipment Discovered by NouvelleTerrian Intellegence last Month. They have been calling for Immediate Military Action against the Colony of Scanterbury, Ackart's defence being that the Scanterburians would defend their Neighbour even if it ment fighting an Ally. She also pointed out the undenying fact that even Moving to attack the Colony would be difficult as the Two countries don't share land Borders, and that the army isn't ready to fight a mobile War on 2 Fronts.

Talks continued yesterday even with the Nuclear Crisis still alive and threatening the Stability of the Region. Heavy security precautions are becoming even heavier then they were when they started shortly after the end of the Liberation War, as the number of Security has almost trebeled in the past 5 Months. NTPFL Kicks into Action for the Fall

The NouvelleTerrian Premier Football League has set up it's schedual for the next Season. The 10 Teams will be playing 20 Games each, 2 against every team. Garfield's own Star Keeper Adolf Ulrich says that the team is ready to play for the first time in 6 Years, the main problem with the League is the lost of so many of the Players from before the Civil War. Garfield has only managed to pull back 8 of their 18 Players, the other 10 losing their lives during the War and 7 of them on the Civil and Liberation Wars Memorial in Miguezville. House burns down in apperent Smoking Accident

With the banning of Smoking in the Country many people are resorting to the newly found Underground Smoking Groups. Fire Trucks and Ambulances reacted to a fire apperently started by Smoking teens in a Jesse St. Home. The teens have been found and are being questioned by Garfield Police for any apperent Criminal Action. Damage to the house is estimated at 45,000 Pounds.

Arms Race Ended

With the colony of Goodname having gotten rid of its nuclear weapons and giving them to Scanterbury, the country posessed all WMD in the whole region. Grand Duke Pruden, realizing that almost every country in the region was oppposed to WMD, got rid of all the arms and sold them internationally. He is now allowing arms inspectors inside the country to verifiy it for themselves.

With national tension rising between Litherluania and Scanterburys colony, Goodname, three corps of infantry have been posted along the northern border in case of attack. Diplomats are being sent to Litherluania to talk to leaders in the wake of wide civilian support of an attack.

Jameson Loyalists Hijack NouvelleTerrian Airliner

Jameson Loyalists have Hijacked a Civilian flight from Garfield to Gimli, Scanterbury, the flight had a Passenger list of 176 Civilians and 7 Crew appear to be in good condition when the Flight landed in Gimli. The Hijackers who appear to be a Group of Jameson Loyalists have the Boeing 747 Parked on the Runway blocking all traffic in and out of the Airport. Diplomatic messages have been running from NouvelleTerre to Scanterbury all day long and the Scanterburians haven't spoken to the Loyalists as of yet. Emperor Miguez has declared that first the safety of the Hostages must be procured before any action takes place.

Tentions Easy Between Nations

Tentions have been easing latly between Litherlitharuania and Good Name. People's temper are cooling down, and now that the possibility of a nuclear crisis has ended, most Litherlitharuanians are quick to forget their harsh words, and are begining to replace them with words of peace.

"We need to bring our two nations together, and to try and form a bond of trust between our nations to ensure that a war is never declared!" Says Amy Hayfield, a local peace activist with nothing better to do.


Tots For Troops

Two days ago, the gourernment received a supply of uniforms, enough to fit the entire Litherlitharuanian army. "Ten-HUT! Alright maggots, I want you all to listen and I want you to listen good. These uniforms are long overdue, so you'd better enjoy them. Now drop and give me 20!" Says Don Harding, a stereotipical generalizasion of all drill sergants.

The new uniforms should be completly distributed in less that a week, at which point a military display is to be demonstrated to Osama bin Hallatt himself.

Scanterbury Joins Peace Talks

With the countries of Litherluania and Goodname opening up peace talks between themselves, Scanterbury has offered to join, and to perhaps set up an organization with all of the countries on the mainland to form a protectorate.

Treaties Signed with Natives

With the recent and unsuccessful uprising in Aubrey earlier this month, native leaders are looking to find peace with the government. Several documents have been signed, commissioning the natives with their own leaders and a large reservation, consisting of the entire southern peninsula east of Aubrey. Visitors and immigrants are welcome, however the land will remain under their care.

"Funny" Death

One citizen reportedly laughed themselves to death after reading the Litherluanian post earlier this week. She was found collapsed on the floor with her arms round her waist, her face twisted into a toothy grin.

First Olympics

Scanterbury has offered a region-wide olympics, to be held in Niverville. Events scheduled include hockey, soccer, tennis, track and field, gymnastics, water sports, horse racing, football, golf, baseball, skiiing, biatholon, triatholon and weightlifting and other sports. Other suggestions are open. The games are scheduled to occur four years after the region has discussed the matter, and will begin in early July and will end in the beginning of January, encompassing winter and summer sports.

Grand Duke makes a Royal Visit

With the ties between Litherluania and Goodname seemingly getting much better, Grand Duke Pruden, accompanied by his wife Duchess Christina Aguilera, have gone north to Litherluania for a visit to the countries world class zoos. The Grand Duke, when asked how long he planned to stay, did not answer, as he and the Duchess were making their way to the public washrooms.
A public-relations man, Minister Sam Baggins, said that the Duke and Duchess planned to stay at the capital's guest suite for two weeks, conferring with Osama bin Hallatt the merits of peacetalks with its colony.

Christina Aguilera has reportedly made a bold move to copy Britney Spears, as she drunkenly signed the marriage documents to the Grand Duke of an obscure and seemingly non-existant country isolated somewhere in the "North Ocean". With the discussion opened of regional olympics, Grand Duke Pruden has made a promotional commercial in which he participates in every possible sport in the olympics, and wins gold medals for all in thiry-five seconds. Film critics Deibert and Fiskal have denounced the commercials as, "Retarded..."

Police are still invesigating reports that an issue of the Litherlitharuanian Post, caused a Scanterburian citizen to die of laughter.

Olympics to Come to Litherlitharuania?

Osama bin Hallatt was pleased with Grand Duke Pruden's idea to form a regional Olympic games to be held sometime in the near future. But he seemed sceptical when Emperor Migez of NouvelleTerre took the stand and preposed that both Olympic games (summer and winter) be held in NouvelleTerre. (Litherlitharuania obviously being the better choice for the winter portion) Emperor Miguez then went on to question Grand Duke Pruden's ability to host such an event.

"Although we are now curently refering to them as "The Olympics", we must understand that they are not. They will be a regional event that was preposed by Grand Duke Pruden, and therefor, I believe that at least the first annual regional games be held in Scanterbury, just like the fisrt Olympic games where held in Greece." Osama Bin Hallatt said to the public during a live televised adress to the country.

NouvelleTerre to Boycott any Regional Games not Held in a Democratic Country

Emperor Miguez yesterday announced that NouvelleTerre wouldn't Join any Regional Games not held in a Democratic Country. He said in his Press Statement that him, along with Parliment wouldn't allow their Athletes to play in any Country that Civil and Political Rights are repressed. Jennifer Sutherland, a Sports Advisor to the NouvelleTerrian Government says that "The Athletes of the Country will be quite turned down by the Statements given by the Government, however they also believe that Democracy is Important in this world and stand behind the Actions of the Emperor and the Prime Minister."

Hijacking ends in Bloody End

A NouvelleTerrian Special Forces Team Flown into Gimli has rescued all Passengers from Hijacked Flight 145 which was Parked on Gimli's Airport's Airstrip. The Plane which had been blocking air traffic into Gimli was a Boeing 747 from Air NouvelleTerre. At 7 PM a Team of Special Forces attacked by Blowing Holes in the Planes Cargo and moving in through the back. The Terrorists onboard who were Jameson Loyalists dressed in Jameson's all Black Uniforms, were taken by complete surprise by the action and had little Time to react before all of them were slain. The 6 Hijackers were pulled out after all precautions were taken place if any Explosives were planted on board the Plane. The rescued Hostages will be flown home Tomorrow to Garfield International Airport.

"It's ironic, isn't it? To have a country claiming to uphold the virtues of democracy, yet at the same time, forbiding his citizens to participate or even attend the games. That sounds like facism is you ask me!

The truth is, I've visited Scanterbury many a time, and I found the trip to be thouroughly enjoyable. I found the citizens to be very pleasent and compassionate; and although a bit timid at times, they all seemed happy to be a part of the Grand Dutchy of Scanterbury.

Even though I know for a fact that Litherlitharuania would be a much better place for the winter portion of the games, what with having Mt. Willow and Mt. Tuskarura, the two highest mountains in all of Kelvin, I respect the fact that this plan has been divised by Grand Duke Pruden, and I will respect any decision me makes.

In Conclution, I don't believe that Ill be putting words into anybody's mouths when I say: Boycot the games if you want, and while we may feel sorry for your citizens for not being able to enjoy what will truely be a monumental event, we will not waste our time with any more of your petty tantrums.

Scanterbury Olympics

With the country of Nouvelle Terre not in support of the idea of olympics being held in Scanterbury, Grand Duke Pruden has opened talks with LItherluania, Les Monts Royaux, and the colony of Goodname about the first olympics.
And although Mr. Frank Bigdickthattypesincapitalsinforumswhenhesangry wanted the olympics to always be held in Scanterbury, Grand Duke Pruden has revised the schedule to allow the games to rotate between countries every year.
Talks with Nouvelle Terre on the subject are still open.


G-8 wants In

With Grand Duke Pruden inside of Litherluania for a short stay to talk about relations between the country and Goodname, the National Crisis Team, G-8, has requested permission to enter the country and act as a personal bodyguard for Grand Duke Pruden.
General of the Army John Peter Pruden insisted that the team needed to protect the Grand Duke.
Grand Duke Pruden, however, was skeptical about the need for the team.
"We are in friendly territory here," he said. "Anyways, I've got a personal bodyguard from the Litherluanian Army already. Can't we trust anyone anymore?"
Scanterburian support for its military is low, as they have participated in several bloody wars that did nothing economically for Scanterbury. The recent suppressing of the Aubrey rebellion was bloody and unforgiving, as nearly thirteen thousand were deported thousands of miles south to unknown lands. Grand Duke Pruden has decided to revise his decision on that matter, and is negotiating with Indian leaders about the return of the deportees.


Space Program launches first Manned Craft!

The new Scanterburian Space Program, sponsered by the Pepsi corporation, has launched its first manned craft, the Pepsi One.
Several hundred angry housewives, again from the city of Riverheights, protested the launching, saying that it was "completely unneccessary for the government to use a corporation as a sponser!"
Grand Duke Pruden, in his usual respect of River Heights, completely ignored the protesters, who were the only ones in the country.
The craft is scheduled to orbit around the Earth for three days, wherein it will return to the surface.
Plans are open to launch a device similar to the Hubble space telescope, in conjunction with other countries in the region.

*Royal Navy Mobilization*

All of LMR's navy, lead by Admiral Craig Jilai has moved to the west of the island, feeling that the rebelious forces of Jameson's following may try to hide on L'Ile Royaux. The navy's four aircraft carriers, The Crown, The Mace, The Behemoth and The Field have spread out on the water. The crown and Behemoth closer together inbetween Les Monts Royaux and Nouvelle Terre whilst the Mace and The field are further north and south.

Troops have moved on to beaches of Nouvelle Terre, flying in from transport helicopters and ships. This landing is legal as they are officially building shipyards, taking into action their contract handed to them months ago. While defending from Jameson is a mere "side effect".

National Ties Shaky

With Nouvelle Terres flat out refusal to participate in any olympics held in either Scanterbury or Litherluania, Grand Duke Pruden has grown angry with the country.
"We liberated them," cried angered veterans. "And they won't even come into our god damned country?!"
Many thousands of Scanterburians, having worked on the project and expecting support from their old ally, have grown angry with the governments refusal. The country having branded them a facist, and therefore seemingly unworthy of their presence, had brought many to the boiling point.

Ties with Litherluania Strengthening

Scanterburian talks with Litherluania have brought the two countries closer together, with the two organzing the olympics. The summer olympics are to be held in Niverville, in Scanterbury, while the winter olympics are left to be decided on by Osama bin Hallatt.
After these first olympics, the locations will be planned between Scanterbury, Litherluania, Les Monts Royaux, and Goodname.

Two Highest Ranking Naval Officers in NouvelleTerrian and Les Mont Royauxian Navies meet in new Contruction Site for Massive Shipyard

Admirals Lloyd Thomson and Craig Jilai of the NouvelleTerrian and Les Monts Royauxian Navies met in the Site in Indian Territory for a new Massive Shipyard to be Contructed by the Joint operations of the Two Countries. The Meeting between the Two lasted for 3 Hours and they took a break for Supper with Good Hopes for Future co-operation between the Two Navies. Also a 10,000 Strong Marine force from Les Monts Royaux is Garrisoning the area in case of attack from any remnants of Robert Jameson's Rebel Legion.

Large Stockpile of Weapons found south of Miguezville

A store of 560 AK-47s and 100 RPK-47s was found on Monday in the basement of a Bombed out building south of Miguezville. The building which is located in NouvelleTerrian Northern Cottage Country was a shock to homeowners in the Area. "I never knew that Jameson had his Thugs running around in the area", says Margeret Dailsmith a 76 Year old Senior resident of Cottage Country. Opinions and the shock of the weapons found were pretty much the same through out the area, as the Young couple that lived in the House next to it disappeared after the Stockpile was found has led to suspicions that they were involved with Jameson's rebels.

Helicopter takes fire north-west of Garfield

An Army helicopter took fire from the ground Yesterday north-west of Garfield. The position of the Gunfire seemed to have came from a nearby forest, and only lasted for 30 Seconds when the helicopter managed to evade the gunfire. General Yatinikin who commands V Corps garrisoning the Garfield Area is saying that a Tashforce is being sent to check the area for any Rebel Formations.

Winter Regional Games to Be Held in Litherlitharuania


Grand Duke Pruden announced last week that the winter portion of the upcoming Kelvin Regional Games are set to be held in Litherlitharuania. Rumor has it that Pruden plans to extend his current stay in Litherlitharuania, so that he may go over the details of the games, with Osama bin Hallatt in person.

Bin Hallatt has already told the press that he will be spending a great deal of money to ensure that this will be a pleasureable experience for both athletes and observers.

NouvelleTerre Temperory Closes Embassy in Scanterbury City

NouvelleTerrian Ambassador to Scanterbury Ambassador Heinke returned to Miguezville early today since the closing of the NouvelleTerrian Embassy in Scanterbry in a Protest of it's neighbours Litherlitharuania and Scanterbury declaring NouvelleTerre a Facist Nation. The Closure of the embassy has cut off Diplomatic ties between the Two Countries.

Miguezville Imperial School of Art Opens

A Large Conservatory of the Arts has Opened in Downtown Miguezville. The Imperial School of Arts has space for seven Thousand People to enter and Practice their Skills. The NouvelleTerrian Government spent 300 Million Dollars to rebuild the National Univercities into a new found Glory. Quotas for the School are currently at 20% and the Government is sending Brochures to all Countries of the Region for Artists to attend the school.

Troops Stationed in Nouvelle Terre Cause Rucus

A half dozen troops from the Mont Royaux navy started a barfight late last night at local pub "The Jolly Hamster". The fistfight was said to have been caused by an argument over which colour is fancier, purple or green. One local resident, James Hanson was sent to a hospital while noone else was seriously injured. Hanson is said to be recovering from a broken kneecap and fractured head and wrist.

Opus Shipyard Nearly Complete

The largest of the shipyards being built between Nouvelle Terre and Les Monts Royaux is nearly complete, all that remains is a good paint job and for the christening. This is the largest of several shipyards being built while troops are garrisoned in Nouvelle Terre.

New Prime Minister

A new P.M. has been elected, removing the old and powerful conservative party from its bench. The new liberal government is making several reforms, most importantly are:

1) The return of all Indians deported in the Aubrey uprising
2) Removal of corrupted senators in government*
3) Talks in Free Trade

The old conservatives, led by the enigmatic and violent Jesse James, are disappointed at their loss.

In other news, two sentries of the 16th Signals Bn, on the frontier with Goodname, have gone missing. Some spectate that it is the doing of colonists, but this has been largely dismissed as, quote: "Pretty unlikely.."

The Summer Olympics, to be held in Niverville, have been scheduled to happen in two years. Events being held include:
Soccer, baseball, volleyball, field hockey, track and field, gymnastics, water polo, polo, football, bicycle races, oar races, horse racing, sychronized swimming and diving, and equestrian. Other suggestions must be answered by next week {OOC tomorrow evening}.

Investigation into War Crimes

Although there had apparently been more crimes commited by Nouvelle Terre troops in the N.T. Civil War and the Liberation War, numerous investigations into the activities of Scanterburian troops have led to the findings of three major atrocities.

1) Chief Warrant Officer Howard Mendoza and twenty two men drove seventy five prisoners outside of Garfield. They were unloaded and shot. Those still alive were given the 'coup de grace', leaving all dead. CWO Mendoza is under court martial. Eleven others are also under court martial, while seven others, retired of the army, are being investigated by federal and Nouvelle Terre police. The other four involved have been found innocent of any crimes.

2) One hundred and six NTA men were killed by a tank platoon as they surrendered, emerging from cover and advancing in the open towards the Scanterburian tankers. There were eighteen men involved, at their head a Major Simmonds, who had shot himself a year after. The others are under civilian courts.

3) Four men were charged with the raping of two Nouvelle Terre women, who were then beaten to death. The same men shot two civilians. One was killed in the fighting in Miguezville. Another has been missing for three years. The others are under civilian trial.

Emperor Miguez along with Sultan Duggan of Les Monts Royaux announced that an Underground Roadway will be built from Garfield to New Italy on the South-West Coast of Les Monts Royaux. The Roadway will Cost the Two Countries almost 10 Billion Pounds, but the Commerical Value of Linking the Island Nation to the Continent are undenyable. The Construction of the Roadway is expected to take 15 Years to Complete and it will create 30,000 Jobs in both Countries.

Embassy Reopens in Scanterbury City with new Government Sworn In

Ambassador Heinke and his Staff of 30 Diplomats and Personnel for the Embassy in Scanterbury City resumed their Diplomatic work today. The Embassy had been closed for a Week in protest of the Declaration of NouvelleTerre as a "Facist" Nation. The diplomats were ordered back to work on the Request of the Emperor and the Government, yesterday with the hopes that a more Democratic Government in Scanterbury as well as Looks into War Crimes in the Peninsula Rebellion will ease tension between the Two Countries.

The Miguezville Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Conductor John Martens will play for the first time this Season. The Orchestra is playing Dvorak's New World Symphony as well as the 1st Movement of Mahler's 1st Symphony. Erich Krupner scored a 88th Minute Goal to Push Miguezville over Neukiel in Saturday's Football Match held in Neukiel at the Ian Farr Stadium. The Match was tight through almost all of the match before The Miguezville Offence started taking over the Match. Coach Jamoix of Miguezville was happy with his team as they took control of the Game, and said that We beat them at their own game, just what I like to see from my team. Next week Miguezville plays a Struggling Alexander Squad while Neukiel plays Lenore.

New Prime Minister Assassinated

The new Liberal government, having been in office for only four days, has been shattered with its leader, Francois Trudeau, having been assassinated.
He was killed in his home last night. Suspicions are high that it was the work of either conservative loyalists or racists angry on the new deals with indians in the south.


Sudden Virus

There have been sketchy reports of a horrible virus in a few areas of Scanterbury. The first confirmed case of LARS (OOC The Virus) was sighted in Aubrey, with one man dead. The disease has not yet been diagnosed, however, it is highly contagious, and lethally fatal..

Riots in Aubrey

Tens of thousands of citizens rioted in Aubrey. There is no explanation for the sudden riots. There is an estimated one thousand dead, and dozens of buildings have been razed.

There have been more reports of the LARS virus, in Niverville, Brandon, and Fisher River. Twenty are estimated dead from the virus. In all the towns, there has been increased violence of a large scale...

With the new LARS virus, corrupt government and taxes at nearly seventy percent, the Grand Duchy of Scanterbury has plunged into revolution.

Causes:

1)Federal Tax spending has been invested into dozens of different programs that involve tiny minorities. There was also a great dislike of the newly elected Liberal party and its new taxes and spending modes. As well, the populace is tired of its government having been highly influenced by Nouvelle Terre's government.

2) Violent solutions to problems. The native citizenry of Aubrey all but wiped out in the Aubrey Uprising, during and after. The poor treatment given to Natives, as they were granted terrible land and little funding when given their own province.

3) Grand Duke Pruden, who has made himself a martyr of democracy and freedom, whilst running a socially corrupt country, geared more towards military spending and violent foreign policies.

4) Military support is almost non-existant for the government. Men with disabilities caused in the NT Civil War and Liberation war, which were not supported by the public, were not granted assurance. Nor were soldiers promoted due to their capability. Officer caste systems were very strict about who became NCOs or officers.

5) Prensence of nuclear arms, which took up much federal spending. The government repeatedly said they would be rid of the weapons, however they were kept again and again.

6) Nation Crisis Team, better known as the kill team, assassinated political dissedents and those against the government, such as the communist leaders, some of whom were not tied to the LWM.

LARS was just the catalyst.

So now Scanterbury is dug into a violent revolution. Grand Duke Pruden has fled the country, choosing to try and enter Nouvelle Terre along with his provisional government. Thousands of citizens flee to Goodname and Indian Territory, while more are flooding into Nouvelle Terre. The military is mainly supportive of the revolution. The G-8 team was evacuated along with Grand Duke Pruden, his 'wife', his political advisors and his dog, Raymond.

Ill roleplay this civil war, and anyone is welcome to negotiate with either sides, which are;

1) The nationalists, who wish to keep the country intact and support GD Pruden.

2) The revolutionaries, who wish to overthrow the government and institutionalize a socialist government.

Terrorists Storm South Janick

Yesterday morning a group of unidentified terrorists made there presence known by attacking and capturing the Holfield building located in in the downtown sector of Litherlitharuania's capitol city, Janick.

The Holfield building is known across Litherlitharuania as the district of politics for all of the country. Luckily, Osama bin Hallatt was at that time elsewhere, attending a forgeign policy meeting, and therefor was not among the great list of high-ranking gouvernment officials, that are at this time, still being held captive.

"This will not end in disaster!" said Osama bin Hallatt to a tense public last night. "We will be strong and ever vigelant, and we will get through this!"

As of now, there has been neither contact or demands by the terrorists, but it is believed that they may be the same, or at least connected to, the group that captured a Litherlitharuanian oil platform almost two years ago.


Winter Regional Games to be Held in Dallanallalillin

Shortly after Grand Duke Pruden announced that the winter portion of the Kelvin Regional games will be held in Litherlitharuania, Osama bin Hallatt announced to the region that the games are to be held in the city of Dallanallalillin. Bin Hallatt believes that the highly mountainous and snow-covered areas of the Sarganocleise Ridges, in perticular Mt. Willow, the second highest mountain in Kelvin, will be perfect for all events.

Scanterburian Nuclear Arms in NouvelleTerrian Control

The NouvelleTerrian Foreign Legion Launched a Daring attack on the Scanterburian 0-1 Nuclear Silo on Monday Night, just Hours after the Breakout of the Scanterburian Revolution. Dropped by a Fleet of Transport Helicopters supported by Attack Helicopters, they attacked the Garrison made up of Supporters of the Scanterburian Nationalists to avoid the capture of the Nuclear Armaments by the Revolutionaries. The Quick Assault by the 1st regiment lasted only 30 Minutes until the Scantervurians surrendered. Afterwards they dug in Positions and Waited for the Rest of the 12,000 Strong Division to Arrive to extract the Weapons.

Government Deeply Divided over Scanterburian Revolution

It was a Noisy day in Parliment today as cries to Interveen directly as well to Leave the Situation be in the Scanterburian Revolution were heard on both sides of the Government. The PM Heidi Ackart declared that "The Country will stand Idle at this time, only when we're threatened by one of these Parties is when we would act in a state of War."

Navy sets to Occupy Scanterburian Ports to occupy Scanterburian Fleet

The 1st Fleet under the Command of Admiral De Tilly is gearing up along with the NouvelleTerrian 3rd Marine Division to Occupy or even to Burn the Scanterburian Fleet. The Submarines, (which make up the Majority of the Fleet) launched early to catch any ships leaving Harbour in Scanterburian Territory. The NTN will attempt to secure the Scanterburian Navy in order to prevent it's use in the Scanterburian Revolution.

NTA 1st Army to be Moved to the Scanterburian Border

The NTA 1st Army under the Command of General Hamlot will be moved to the Scanterburian Border to prevent the use of NouvelleTerrian Territory in the Scanterburian Revolution. Also the Troops of XVI Reserve Corps will be Used to man the Refugee Camps of the Thousands of Civilians Running from the War.

1 Squadron Recieves first set of Eurofighters

1 Squadron Commanded by Colonel Ackelmann located at McAlear International Airport recieved their first batch of 8 Eurofighters. The Eurofighters which were built in the Country are the first Eurofighters recieved by the Air Force. The 1st Fighter Wing containing 6 Squadrons of Fighter Aircraft is about to begin Operations over Scanterbury this Week.

OOC Again, since there would be no paper, I will write down what is going on.

Air Force One, holding Grand Duke Pruden, his wife, his advisors, and 4 members of G-8, has been shot down. The military, which has been treated rather badly by previous administration, has split up, with nearly half in the north and another half in the south. 1 squadron of F-16s were lost defending AF 1.

The nuclear arms that NT was so quick to grab were not captured, since that would be a major priority for the rebels. The arms have been relocated to a hidden location, but whether or not Scanterbury still had these WMD is unkown to anyone, as they had been preparing to get rid of them.

The Navy has mainly remained allied with NT, pulling back into docks in Goodname and NT. The populace has risen up, arming themselves as the country had lax gun laws. The capitol is taken, and the old government is gone as it had been.

The new party is a communist party, which had been highly targeted during the previous administration.

Revolution

The rebels are not killing civilians, as they wish to gain the support of the populace. Some two hundred thousand former military men are in the rebel army. Nearly fifty million citizens have joined the revolution.

The rebels have taken much of the southern part of the country, as it is where the revolutions started. The LARS virus still wreaks havoc amongst many, and the rebels have accepted Red Cross aid, along with teams sent in from the military to help civilians.

Rebel forces have nearly penetrated as far north as Fisher River. Government supporting resistance has been scattered and disorganized, as much communication lines were cut, and units were around the country. However, a main line of defence has been established around Holland in the west, and Gimli in the East.

Dead volcano ALIVE?!?
Mount Doom, the northernmost of Les Monts Royaux's three volcanoes and long thought to be inactive has erupted in a firey blaze today. The lava has partially destroyed the Sauron Ruins, making them approximately 3/4s ruined. On a related note, James Tueson, the scientist who officially declared the volcano inactive 45 years ago has been shot. The murderer is suspected to be an employee of Ché Mart, the company owning most of the northern tourist resorts.

The new tripronged Chunnel heading to Goodname, Nouvelle Terre and Litherlitharuania is off to a good start with only one collapse. No construction workers were injured, but one daughter who was there for take your kids to work day has been killed. Halle Marissa, a 14 year old will be remembered for a little bit.

Military cautious
Even with newly purchased equiptment LMR's navy based military is nervous to enter the fight to control the Scanterburian revolution. Sultan Duggan, Admiral Craig Jilai, Flight Admiral Wes Kaufman and newly appointed Grand General Bob Brasques have headed to Goodname to meet with Grand Duke Pruden. Some of LMR's main concerns are the lack of an effective land force and pulling their navy to far. The official status released in a press conferance earlier today is that "we would like our navy to aid, but we stress that we cannot reach the west coast all that fast."

Scanterburian Carrier Group attempts to Run Blockade around Niverville

Six Scanterburian Ships lists as "One Carrier, Three Destroyers, Two Minelayers and a Transport" attemped to run a NouvelleTerrian Blockade of the Port of Niverville last night. Twelve NouvelleTerrian Ships reacted to the attempt by calling in the NouvelleTerrian Air Force and moving to attack the ships. Even though the Navy is mostly controled by the Nationalists, the NouvelleTerrians have givin an ultimatum to the Nationalists. That either the Scanterburian Navy will be Taken into NouvelleTerrian Custody or Destroyed by NouvelleTerrian Bombs.

The Blockade Runners moved with the Wind Gauge to Due South towards open Water. Before they got 1 Kilometer out they were caught by the first ring of Sonar, and Rear Admiral Sheear commanding the INS Gaushine, quickly reacted with his Squadron to move against the Runners. After 5 Minutes of Silence, they came within range of the Destroyers' anti-ship missiles. A salvo from the NouvelleTerrians was returned by missile fire from the Scanterburians, the light from the missile fire lit up the night with large explosions on both sides. At first it looked like the Scanterburians would break through until Attack Aircraft from the NouvelleTerrian Airforce screamed in. The Jets at first sounded far off but they closed quickly, dropping their bombs on the Runners, Massive Explosions from the Carrier lit the night almost to the point where it seemed like it had turned to day. The first Two Waves dropped their bombs on the Destroyers and the Carrier, the closest Destroyer blew up in a huge fireball when the magazine of the ship was hit by a Armour-Piercing Missile while the Carrier was rocked by several hits from bombs. The Third wave came in from across the NouvelleTerrians coming in from the North-West, dropping their bombs on the Carrier scoring direct hits on the coning Tower blowing it onto the burning deck on the Carrier.

Over the Next several Hours the same group made two more attempts to break out under the cover of night. The Carrier was scuttled by the Scanterburians who then abandoned Ship in lifeboats. Close to 1600 Scanterburians were taken on board NouvelleTerrian Ships and are being brought to Alexander for screening.

Communist Government takes Control

With the effective collapse of the former Nationalist government, and the taking of the capitol of Scanterbury, the new Red Party has taken charge of the country, headed by Comrade Jussef Brezinsky.

Brezingrad has become the new capitol. With LARS still running rampant, Aubrey and many localities around it have been quarantined. Road traffic has been stopped. Red Cross teams and the 100,000 peacekeepers of the Federation of USS Sentra are being used to vaccinate thousands of suspected infected people.

Healthcare has been realized. Old titles given to rich landowners and politicals have been abolished. Dozens of old governers and senators, along with the old cabinet, are gone. Grand Duke Pruden's old government system has been completely abolished. From now on, those in the Communist Party will receive benefits and the title of Comrade, while all others will be called Citizen. Politicians, Generals, and officers in the police and the army will be called Your Honour.

A Large Group of Socialist Refugees from Capitalist Countries in Kelvin have Nestled together between NouvelleTerre and the Royal CHannel seperating the Continent from Les Monts Royaux. Upon the recent revolutions taking place in Scanterbury, a long time ally of Litherlitharuania's, Osama bin Hallatt has broken all ties and trade agreements with Scanterbury.

As of yet, there has been no mention of war against the new gouvernment of Scanterbury, but most people are assuming that the possibility has not yet been ruled out. "Litherlitharuania still has many friend in Scanterbury, and I do not intend to let them down. Therefore, all citizens who wish to leave Scanterbury and find a new home in Litherlitharuania via escort from the LSEF, are welcome; providing they pass the appropriate background information tests." Osama bin Hallat told the press yesterday that he did not consider a Scanterburian funeural for Grand Duke Pruden to be a legit affair. Day Two of Parliment Stand Off

We are now on day two of the stand off that began yesterday, between an unknown group of terrorists, and Litherlitharuanian officials in Janick. Still, no demands have been made, leaving the citizens of Litherlitharuania, left to only wait.

Red Party begins New Deal

The Red Party's Public Affairs Minister, Glen Murray, formerly the mayor of Winnipeg, has sent out messages to delegates about the Red Partys new doctrines.

First, inquiries will be sent out regarding the former governments violent foreign affairs, as well as insights into the brutal training of its soldiers and the lavish wealth that Grand Duke Pruden surrounded himself in.

Secondly, the Red Party will be entirely reforming the government, appointing members of the party to be mayors, provincial ministers, and to make up the whole cabinet. Opposition leaders, who have mainly left the country, will receive little to no recognition.

Thirdly, there will be a vast re-organization of the nations security arms. With the Navy still under attack, and Nouvelle Terre AF craft making no signs of stopping their attacks, 1 Sqn and 2 Sqn, both equipped with F-16s will be sent to fight the attackers. As well, 9 Sqn, equipped with tornados will also be sent. Furthermore, the elite 24 Sqn, equipped with fifteen F/A-22 Raptors will also be sent.

To make air to sea attacks, 11 and 12 Sqns, both equipped with B-1B bombers, will be sent to hit naval targets. The rest of the Scanterburian airforce is on standby if needed. All vessels will also be employed into defensive manouevering, with Admiral Frederickson still in charge.

The re-armament will begin in the Scanterburian Army, with M-16s,
M-14s, SAWs, M1911s, and other American small arms being phased out in favour of new Russian armaments, which will also be cheaper to provide and maintain. Amoured vehicles will also go under a retro-fitting, with American and British equipment being phased out for Russian arms.


President Jussef Brezinsky wishes to open up talks with other nations for a peace-agreement. He also wishes to conduct a cease-fire with Nouvelle Terre.

Reports from the Scanterburians have proved true, the Foreign Legion weren't able to secure Scanterburian Nuclear Arms. After several days of fighting Scanterburian Nationalists and Communists, they started running low on Ammunition and Supplies were being flown in 200 Kilometers away from NouvelleTerre. After days of fighting and no nuclear weapons found the decision to abandon the attack brought on the necessity of getting the Legion out of the country. Over 800 Helicopters were almost non-stop for 2 Days pulling the 12,000 Troops of the Legion out of the Silo site, and the evacuation went forward without much attention from the Scanterburians who allowed the Helicopters to do their work.

Dear Diary,

It's been almost a Month since these air attacks in Scanterbury started and our Pilots are gettin Exhausted. We fly almost 4 Times a day to look for Scanterburian Convoys, Aircraft and Ships when we fly over the Ocean. I find it almost peaceful when we fly over the ocean, for there aren't any of the destroyed building and fires ragings that we see everytime we pass a northern town. The towns are almost always burned by the Prudens as we call them, since they are retreating to the Border.

Scanterburian Aircraft also have been popping up more and more often. We dogfight almost twice a day now and we can tell which of the Scanterburians are the Veterans of the Wars in NouvelleTerre and who are the Commies who don't have a clue what they're doing while flying. I saw an old friend of mine the other day also, he's a Scanterburian. I was flying 10 Kilometers north-east of Niverville when a Scanterburian Flying Falcon flew along side me, ole' Doug as I called him flew with his signature Joker playing card painted on his Fuselage. He must of saw the picture of Halle, my wife on my MiG-29's Fuselage. I almost bolted when he came up without warning but I hesitated a second, which if the pilot wasn't ole' Doug I'd probably would of been flamed. He gave me a wave and then turned to his right and flew off, and I was more surprised then happy to see him.

We have to be careful now, since reports of Scanterburian Raptors lurking about are keeping everyone on their toes. The Raptors have Stealth capabilities and will bounce you if aren't watching your back, and the Radar Aircraft aren't helping a lot against them. I myself haven't seen one but we think that a Raptor shot down Captain Taylor in my Flight, he went on a Patrol with Leftanant Jamilot and Leftanant Heinze. And they were bounced off of the Coast around Niverville, so recon flights are concentrating in that area.

I just hope that soon with the Les Monts Royauxians and the Goodnamian we'll finally get a break from this constant flying.

The fighting is chaotic, violent, and random.

Our squad was officially Nationalist, being under the command of Gen. Pruden. Since we are at war officially with Nouvelle Terre and with the communists, we have no allies.

We had been seperated from our unit for nearly a week, as they were swept up in the mass of desertion and the attacking communists. With Nouvelle Terre air strikes common, we had no supply lines and no comms.
We were all that was left of the support company, as far as we knew. We were making way to the NT border to escape the fighting. Our plan was to capture a few civvies, steal their clothes, hide a few concealed weapons if we needed them, and then dump them at the border.

We approached a small hovel, where we could see two women working in the yard. I took three men, and left the other four to cover us as we approached the women.

They were terrified, as we could see, and were rightly scared of all three sides.
The two of them ducked down, and lay on the ground. I left them to be covered, and took two men inside the house to get clothes. We kicked down the door, and made our way in. We saw by the red party banner that they supported the communists.
I sent one man into the bedroom, another into the cellar, while I checked the upstairs.

The house was typically packed with all sorts of junk. Tables were crowded with trinkets and cheap jewellry and photos. I saw two bedrooms, and got into one of the closets. There were several shirts and pants inside, and these I quickly grabbed. As I made my way back downstairs I saw that one of my men had found more clothes, making there enough for the squad.

We exited the house through the same way we'd gotten in. As we stepped out there was silence.

The rest of the squad was gone.

I looked around. There were no signs of enemy troops, the two women were gone. There was nothing.

I took one man out, and left the other to cover. I made a quick reconnaissance. I found a few tracks leading off to the east, but they were not ours. I checked again, and stopped.
In a grove of bushed some yards away, the two women were lying with their throats slashed.
Beyond that I saw the rest of the squad. They were all dead. They had also been killed, but with bullets.

I hit the ground. There had been rumours of civilian militia roaming the countryside, killing any in their path. This must have been their work. I looked back, and saw both of my men behind, still ducked down and waiting for me.

I stayed still for perhaps ten minutes before I got up. There were no other men around. They would have finished us off already.

We got into the civilian clothes, and made our bid for the border.
It worked.


We were the only survivors of the company.

RAYMOND THE CHUNNEL COMPLETE

This amazing feat of engineering has been finished. Unfortunately, several suitable conductors have not yet been found and the search for truly qualified indiviuals is expected to take a month. Surely this is what Al-Shimar member Juan Habibi, the representative from East Italy will be remembered for.

The chunnel is expected to bring massive prosperity and trade boosts to all four involved countries, Les Monts Royaux, Goodname, Litherlitharuania and Nouvelle Terre.

Despite taxes being at a national record high (10% MINIMUM!) the Royal Economy is still going down. Today the sultan was quoted saying "it is nothing to worry about, we are still have a strong economy and will continue to be prosperous in the future."

The Swordfish are preparing to head off to the regional games, hoping to take home gold. Our team is world renowned for their low times and competitive nature. One of the stars of the team, Jack Silverman was heard saying that he will enjoy some of the finest local drinks after they win.

Fort being built on Taj-Mel Island
Some of you may know it as "that crappy island off the coast of Les Monts Royaux" but it is now a site for a stronghold to send royal prisoners to. The prisoners will be left on the island, with the fort there for emergencies and basic necessities. This is a previously unexplored island but seems to share the tropic qualities of LMR. Taj-Mel Island is deemed a royal colony today and the "Royal Fort" is slated for a 2 year construction period.

On a related note, today, March 23rd is now known as Taj-Mel day in Les Monts Royaux, it is a day off work and a good time to party.

NouvelleTerrian Special Forces discover Scanterburian Nukes Disabled

Last night an air raid on a Convoy moving towards Holland, Scanterbury was attacked and destoryed by an Air attack. the next Morning a Special Forces recon Platoon found 13 destroyed 6x6 Trucks blasted and burning along Highway 2 from Niverville to Holland, Scanterbury. However the biggest find of the recon team was the Scanterburian Nuclear Arms which were the main reason for NouvelleTerrian Actions in Scanterbury. 10 Nuclear Bombs were found disabled and rendered useless by the Scanterburians who quickly fled from the scene afterwards during the night. The Team then Radioed in for a Nuclear Team to inspect the Weapons to be dismantled and destroyed, which will take some team to finish.

NouvelleTerre Ends Airstrikes and Naval Blockade

With Scanterburian Nuclear weapons found destroyed, Emperor Miguez along with the NouvelleTerrian National Parliment suspended military actions against Scanterbury and called back all Naval and Air forces back to NouvelleTerre indefinately. But Foreign troops from Les Monts Royaux and Goodname will be kept in the Area for Security reasons as the new Communist Government in Scanterbury is still in a process of reforming the Country.

General Maximilian von Heinkelburg made First member of the Imperial Order

The Imperial Order of Knights which was founded 4 Months ago by Emperor Miguez initiated it's first member into it's Ranks. The Order welcomed General Maximilian von Heinkelburg of the NouvelleTerrian Air Force into it's Ranks. The General will now be known as General Sir Maximilian von Heinkelburg and will recieve several Decorations for the Order. Requirements for the Order are either highly distinguished Civilian Service or Distinguished Military Service for a Period of 20 Years. General Sir Maximilian von Heinkelburg joined the NouvelleTerrian Air Force 23 Years ago when he was 18, and rose through the Ranks during the Two Wars.

Plans for New T&T Building in Miguezville laid down

Plans submitted by the Gershuld Architectural Ferm for the New T&T Arms Company Building in Downtown Miguezville have been laid down and approved by the Municipal Government of Miguezville. The Old Building which was blasted and fell over during the 3 Month Long Battle of Miguezville during the Liberation War. The New Building will take up the Space in which the Building along with the connecting city block which was destroyed when the building fell over once resided, and the Building will be 27 Stories in Height and 500 Meters in Length. Thampson & Thompson are the main Comapny in a Private sector Dominated by Arms Manufacturing.

New Music Festival set to Commence throughout the Country

The New Music Festival which will produce Music from Hundreds of Young as well as Old Composers will be played in a 3 Week Long festival throughout the Country. The Main venues are at the Miguezville Concert Hall and the Garfield Opera House where a 4 Hour long Opera by Deserai Lagroix is the main attraction. Miguezville Symphony Orchestra Conductor John Martens says that "This Music festival will be a huge boom to the Young Composers of the Country. I firmly believe that with Government support along with Programs to involve the Youth of the Country in Music will help bring Peace to the still fractured Country." John Martens then went on to say that he knows that with current events evolving outside the Country turning towards to Good, that the Pool of Musicians available to the Orchestras will increase.

Interregional Football Tournament announced in Alexander

KIRFF (Kelvin Inter-Regional Football Federation) President Henry Williard announced a Tournament to be Played for the Kelvin Cup, which will be awarded to the Winning Team. Teams from all 6 Countries in the Region will be Represented in the Games which will be Shared by NouvelleTerre and Les Monts Royaux, with half of the Games being held in both Countries. NouvelleTerre Football Organisation President David Lewis said in return that "We're gonna get a Team ready for the Games and Security Precautions will be place in the highest Priority to secure the safety of the Fans and Players alike. The Games will be held next Summer.

With the Announcement of the Building of the New Thampson & Thompson Building in Downtown Miguezville as well as 3rd Quarter Predictions being highly then previously though with the proceeds from The Armaments Project in Danmarc, T&T Stock raised another 13% from Yesterday's Close, while the Pound dropped slightly 0.03 Centipounds to 1.76 Pounds per 1 US Dollar.

Security forces out!

President Jussef Brezinsky has demanded that all foreign military personnel within the country of Scanterbury be removed immiediately, before they are either taken out by force or held under captivity.

And with much of the population still at odds with the new Red Party, and bands of impromptu militia roaming the countryside, Pres. Brezinsky has authorized the creation of a North Scanterbury, or the Grand Duchy of Scanterbury, in the northwest of the country. Part of the capitol, Brezingrad, or the former Scanterbury, will be allotted to the country.

Grand Duke comes out of Hiding!

With the end of hostilities in the country, Grand Duke Pruden has come out of hiding in Litherlitheruania, where he had been with his wife, Duchess Aguilera, and several of his ministers.

The Grand Duchy will be established in the North-west of Scanterbury, with a thin strip of land running down into the central-west, where one half of Brezingrad/Scanterbury will be allotted to the country. The Grand Duchy will act as a sort of vessel for the United Socialist States of Scanterbury to the rest of the region.

Backbone of Jameson Loyalist Faction Blasted

A surrounding attack by the 2nd Airborne Brigade in the White Forest has produced a Bloody action against an unknown number of Jameson Loyalists, however reports are that the force numbers up to perhaps 2100 Troops. The attacks follows an attack on an Armoured column which moved through the area last week, and helicopters moving through the area taking ground fire. Politicians in Miguezville are now asking questions about the number of Jameson Loyalists in the White Forest as perhaps Hundreds of Jameson cells hide in the region.

Factions fight on

With the Communsit Red Party having taken control of Scanterburys capitol, re-naming it Brezengrad after the new USS president Jussef Brezinsky, the Nationalists and the Communists have been fighting all along the Blue River.

The Nationals have set up their lines along the river, taking refugees and soldiers across the new 'border'. The fiercest fighting is occuring in Scanterbury, with the two sides blasting buildings and fireteams fighting house-to-house combat. Air sorties are mainly being carried out by the Communists, while the Navy has blockaded Niverville, cutting off any supplies or aid the Nationalists may receive. However, the Nationalists are far from being overrun, as bands of Loyalists roam the countryside, destroying military outposts and sabotaging railways and airports.

Some two thousand Scanterburians were killed fighting Nouvelle Terre, while eighteen hundred Nouvelle Terre soldiers were killed.

Casualty lists have not come up for the in-fighting yet.

Skirmishes Continue

Troops from North Scanterbury continue to skirmish with communists from Scanterbury. The two sides are fierce, and men fight to the death against one another.

Many are old comrades from the NT Civil War and the Liberation War. But it does not stop the fighting. Two whole divisions of North Scanterburians have been cut off and wiped out as units. Communist divisions are under-strength, and many of their officers are novice Party members. There is little confidence in the High Command, as the new General of the Army has no battle experience and was granted his commission as he was a high ranking Red Party member.

North Scanterburian casualties are estimated at some twenty-five thousand total, while USSS casualities are estimated at nearly thirty five thousand.

Heavy Fighting in Scanterbury City/Brezingrad

Scanterburian Nationalists under the command of General John Pruden continue the fighting in Scanterbury City/Brezingrad. The Communists who were running short on supplies were replenished after a Convoy was able to Port in Aubrey after the lifting of the Navy's Blockade of Scanterbury. Fighting took place in close quarters and has been fierce for several Weeks now, and it hasn't been noticed since the Scanterburian Communists have Downplayed the continuing Fighting.

Last NouvelleTerrian Troops leave Scanterburian Soil

The last remnants of the 61st Infantry Regiment left Scanterbury yesterday to complete the NouvelleTerrian Withdrawl from the Country. The Mission of III Corps which was positioned 10 Kilometers into Scanterbury was to control Refugee columns and to provide an escort for the Scanterburian Nuclear Arms which have been transported to NouvelleTerre and scraped. With the refugee flow slowing to a trickle and the War out of the concern of the Army, they were moved back across the border along with Special Forces units. However Rumours have been flowing throughout the army that they will be used in a Peacekeeping role in the Country.

PM Heidi Ackart congradulated the NouvelleTerrian Air Fleet in it's successful actions in Scanterbury. "The Air Fleet kept the Scanterburian Navy blocked up in it's Ports for 5 Months. The Bravery of the Soldiers, Pilots and Mariners is undenyed in the view of the Public and its Representatives in the Government." The air attacks in Scanterbury resulted in the loss of 16 Aircraft while 68 Scanterburian Craft were destroyed on the ground and in the Air, 17 Scanterburian Ships were taken by the Navy to the Navy Fleet Base in Alexander and Countless Vehicles were destroyed in the Countryside.

The Army chose it's Replacement for the AK-111 Rifle Today as the army went with the AK-103 Built by T&T Arms. The Rifle, which is easier and cheaper to make will provide a rifle able to cope with Winter conditions as well as the Deserts in the North. The Rifle is also sold by T&T in their Famous Internet Store along with many other Products.

I Corps Conducts Manuvers on South Raymondshire Plain

The Plains around the city of Ulyssys in South Heinkelburg Provence rumbled with the Sound of 500 Vehicles on Manuvers going on around the city. The Manuver is representing an armoured attack towards a Fortified city, and the results have been announced by the Army as "Excellent". The Tests also show the Power of the new King Tiger III MTBs which have not been used in Fighting as of Yet. The Manuvers will be continuing until next Week.

Homeland Security Corps to be Raised out of Armed Forces

Field Marshall Jamyl announced that a Homeland Security Corps will be raised in time for the Kelvin Cup next Year. The Corps will be made up of Troops who will volunteer for Pernament duty with rests until the Country stabilizes. The Corps is the result of the Fighing between the Army and Jameson Loyalists which continues to plague the Country, and T&T Armes will provide Weaponry and Vehicles for the Corps which will have Air, Land as well as Sea Elements attached to it.

Naval Fleet ponders Orders

With sixteen Scanterburian ships docked in Port Alexander, the commander, Commodore Michael Stryszysky, has requested permission to make limited sorties against the communist navy, and to perhaps encourage naval members to rejoin the Nationalist military, as many are being held by force to fight for the communists.

G-8 Begins Operations

G-8, which had been sheltering along with Grand Duke Pruden in Litherliturania, have commenced operations against the communists. Their ops mainly include hits on leaders and politicos.

Anyways, what I really want to talk about, is seran-wrap.
Isn't it the most annoying substance on the Earth?
I mean, when I wrap up a sandwich for lunch, I usually pull out that seran-wrap. Now, I take it out of the box, and run it over the sharp edging along the side of the box. Apparently, when you do this, the wrap is supposed to come neatly out of the box, cut in a nice, straight line for you to wrap your sandwich in.

Uh-uh.

I usually struggle my way through about two or three feet of that stuff before the box runs out and I wrap my sandwich in tinfoil. Seran-wrap never comes off the box how its supposed to. It just twists up and becomes a useless lump of plastic, tangled in its own stickiness.

So, what good is seran-wrap? I say, if we are going to spend government money on imports, and by that I mean taxpayers money, then why dont we invest the seran-wrap money to research for improved wrap? I think that that would make the country so much better.

The "Miguezville Herald" and the "Alexander Post" both owned by Billionaire Marcus Halifield are merging to form the "NouvelleTerre National". The Newspaper will be the largest in the Country and will be the only National one and the estimated cost of the Merger is in the Tens of Millions of Dollars. Circulation of both newspapers are estimated to be 65 Million subcribers, and is estimated to grow substantually with the influx of National and International News. Also subcribers in the Kelvin region are expected to almost Treble with the Merger.

Terrorists Linked to Jameson

After a tense 5 day stand off between a Litherlitharuanian authorities and a group of unknown terrorists, who had barricaded themselves in the Litherlitharuanian Parlament building, the terrorists were finally brought down by Delta, a division special ops in the LSEF.

One of the terrorists captured by Delta was forced into revealing everything he knew about the organization he belonged to. Officials were shocked to discover that the once unknown group is directly tied with Gen. Jameson, the very man responsible for the NouvelleTerrian civil war.

Talks of Regional Games Start Again

Chunnel Closed for Reconstruction
The brand new Raymond the Chunnel was closed earlier today for reconstruction of the 4 way intersection. It seems as though "the fork" was built not accoring to blueprints and the electrical system that was supposed to carry the subways, lights etc. were installed backwards. Pool under construction
The Pondicherry Pool is now underway. Last month contests were held for local architects to design the best pool for New Chicago. This pool is being built to commemorate the athletes heading to the Regional Games. Completion is expected in 2 years, it will be a state of the art pool with all the standards for luxury pools, and it will be setting some standards itself. The pondicherry pool's size will be far and away the largest in the region with several other attractions including tennis courts and weight rooms.

Rainforests back on the rise
Sultan Duggan has imposed new laws banning all wildlife hunting and logging. "These are not major revenue generators for Les Monts Royaux, and thus there is no doubt in my mind that we as a nation can and will become more economically friendly." says Duggan. Many more trees will be planted aswell says Duggan and wildlife reserves will be installed. Fishing has not yet officially been reduced but is expected to be legally affected within the month.

Taj-Mel assaulted
The Royal Fort on Taj-Mel has been attacked by a band of convicts allied with local natives. Only 3 men were injured with no damage to the fort itself. NouvelleTerre to bring in Monetary Union with El Gato Blanco

The Governments of NouvelleTerre and El Gato Blanco have agreed on merging their two Currencies into a Joined one, The Kelvin Pound. The New Banknotes which will be different in both countries, are beginning to be printed and distributed and Banks are gearing up to accept the new notes. The Old NouvelleTerrian Pounds and El Gato Blancan Perros which were in use, will continue to be accepted but will be phased out with the new notes replacing them. So far reaction to the idea have been excellent in both countries as people are happy to know that they wont have to exchange their Money when going on vacation to El Gato Blanco and likewise. The first notes will be distributed on January 1st in the new Year.

Scanterburian Civil War Rages On

Communist attacks towards the Port city of Niverville in the south of the country is starting to strain the Nationalist Forces in the Area. The city which is being blockaded by the Communist Fleet which contains perhaps only 13 Vessels, but the Nationalist Fleet is still being held by the NouvelleTerrians in Alexander. The City itself is under attack by Communist Aircraft and is in danger of being cutoff from the rest of Nationalist territory by the Communist advance.

In Scanterbury City/Brezingrad Fighting continues on, attacks by both sides have yielded so far almost no progress in the City. However the Nationalists are bringing a Squadron of Gunboats down the Blue River to shell Communist Positions in the City, and with the Weather worsening for Winter, Aircraft are expected to not be able to fly with the Snows of the Season.

Terrorists in Litherlitharuania linked to Jameson's Legion

With the Discovery that Jameson has been targeting Foreigners brought the Governments of NouvelleTerre and Litherlitharuania into an agreement on fighting the Loyalists. Attacks on NouvelleTerrian targets has declined but is still at high levels since the destruction of the Loyalist cell in the White Forest and Patrols into the area are still high. More recently an attack on a Checkpoint west of Errington has stepped up awareness that Jameson still has the capability to strike in the Country.

Agriculture Crisis Looms

Jennifer Dwight, Minister of Agriculture in the Ackart Government announced today that the Farmers of NouvelleTerre will fall into debt on average 30,000 Pounds for each Farm. The announcement comes after complaints by the Union representing the Farmers of the Country about increasing Poverty in the Agriculture sector. Inquiry finds Death of Jameson Loyalist General Max to be of Natural Causes

An autopsy conducted on General Derrick Max found that his death was of a Heart Attack. The General suffered the heart attack in Miguezville Military Prison 4 Months ago, and the idea that he was killed by the Government floated through the Parliment. Interregional Critics, mostly from Litherlitharuania also called for the Inquiry to look for any Foul Play by the NouvelleTerrian Government.

North Scanterbury defeats USSS in Football Friendly

Kelley Winfield Scored with only 2 minutes of Time Added On to put North Scanterbury over the USSS 3-2 in a friendly which took place in Miguezville, NouvelleTerre. The game was tense and very physical as it was clear that both teams louthed each other extreamly, as both Nations continue to fight a bitter War. At several occurances during the Game, fights broke out between the Two Teams and the Referees at several times had to break up the Players. Fans at the game were kept from each other by Homeland Security Corps members which held fans for both Countries away from each other, but security was good and no trouble was recieved from Fans. The game was considered a test for NouvelleTerrian Security with the Kelvin Cup only 3 Months away and as a precaution, all alcoholic beverages were not sold at the event.

Monetary Union to bring new opperatunities to NouvelleTerrian Business

The announcement of Monetary Union with El Gato Blanco was well recieved by the Business sector of NouvelleTerre, as potiental Business openings will stimulate the Slow NouvelleTerrian Economy. As a result, The House Building business which is overjoyed to help build homes for Thousands of El Gato Blancans who are still building the Infastructure of the Country. Also the Steel Sector is hoping to make inroads into the Country, as Steel is also needed for Construction.

Fighting Rages On

With fighting around the Blue River continuing, North Scanterburian military and security spending is on the increase. Some fifteen divisions are committed to the fighting, numbering around two hundred thousand men.

With the permission of Nouvelle Terre, limited Scanterburian sorties have been launched down the Blue River, using Nouvelle Terre built gunboats. However, Commodre Strysyszky has requested permission to use capital ships with or without aid to relieve the port of Niverville. Airforce sorties have already begun.

Tank losses are high, as the Communists' superior T-90s and T-80s blast their way through the limited amounts of Abrahms and Bradleys thinly spread along the defensive line. Communist armour support is far more than what Nationalist forces receive, with some ten armoured divisions, the Communists outnumber the Nationalists nearly five to one.

Nationalist casualties along the border is at an estimated seventy-thousand in all. USSS casualties are at an estimated eighty thousand, with casualties inflicted by Nouvelle Terre and Goodname.

With North Scanterbury having beaten out the USSS in a close game two nights ago in football, North Scanterburians flood to the border to try and watch the team to the championship. Civilian moral is high with the team advancing, while USSS citizens are disappointed and, even, angry at the loss.

Last night, Osama bin Hallatt walked up the a podium in front of hundreds of reporters, and countless amounts of television cameras. His face was stoney and serious. Then, after what seemed like an eternety of camera flashes, he calmly began to speak.

Surprise Attack Launched on the United Socialist States of Scanterbury

I have the reluctance to announce the Declaration of War against the United Socialist States of Scanterbury in the it's Violation of NouvelleTerrian Territory with Intercontinantal Ballistic Missiles as well as Attack Aircraft aimed at Litherlitharuania. With these events I have Ordered the Country to War with the entent to protect the country from Communist ICBMs and Aircraft violating our Border, as well to Protect the Scanterburian Nationalists who are fighting a War of Freedom from Tyranny.

As a result, I have asked with the Agreements of the Emperor that 6 Corps of Reserves will be Called up to bolster the 5 Corps already on the Border and ready to move into the USSS. As well the Navy and Air Fleet is being readied for Actions against Scanterbury, and will provide Naval Support for Litherlitharuanian Troop Actions. As well Hopes are that Other nations in the Region will support actions in Scanterbury to finally bring peace to the Region.

Missles Strike Litherlitharuania

Last night, the USSS fired a barrage of ballistic missiles at various targets all over Litherlitharuania. The missile strike caught the military somewhat off guard, and one ballistic missile hit the international Sargasian airport dead on, leveling the entire complex; thereby halting all commercial flights to and from Fort Sargo, and slowing shipment. An official body count has not yet been released.

After the missile hit the Sargasian airport, gunners were quick to ready their newly aquired Partriot TMD SAMs and started shooting down missiles like flies. One missile however, managed to get past Litherlitharuanian defences and hit a children's hospital. Luckily, the hospital was evacuated, and it is believed that there were no fatalities.


B2 SPIRIT downed

Last night, all the members of the flight team assigned to a surprise attack on the USSS returned safely home in their plains--All that is, except one.

Fred Tunner, a veteran pilot in the Litherlitharuanian Air Force, was shot down while preforming the surprise attack. Tunner's fate is still a mystery, and the military has deemed him MIA.

Scanterbury offers Exchange

With the recently downed B-2 bomber over Scanterbury, the aircrafts pilot has been captured. Scanterburian military officials are willing to exchange the pilot for communist prisoners of war taken by Nouvelle Terre.

And with the recent downing of most of the ICBMs, Scanterburian mililtary advisors have another barrage ready to be launched at Nouvelle Terre and Litherlitheruania.

North Scanterburians hit by communist ICBMs have taken a heavy toll. The parliament in Scanterbury was amongst the targets, and was completely destroyed, along with almost all inside. Resuce efforts are being frustrated by sporadic fighting in the area.

Some 2,000 were killed as an ICBM struck the North Scanterbury International Airport in Holland. With the airport out of commission, commercial flights have stopped.

The port in Niverville was also struck, making shipped freight more difficult to enter the country.

Two more ICBMs struck the country, killing some 1,500 others. North Scanterburian military forces have regrouped around Holland and in the south some twenty-two miles beyond the Blue River.

NouvelleTerrian Troops move into Scanterbury

4 Corps of the NouvelleTerrian Army with 1 in Reserve have moved into Scanterbury to begin an Offensive Aimed at Cutting the country in Two, Goodname has moved Thousands of Troops to it's border which looks like Goodname will Join the War on the Side of the Pro-Nationalist Forces. Also airstrikes have commenced against Communist Troops in and around Scanterbury City/Brezingrad, and Helicopters are providing close support. The Navy has released 17 Nationalist Ships from docking in Alexander and with their support are attacking Communist Ships while ferrying Litherlitharuanian Troops into North Scanterbury to support their faulting Front.

Anti-Ballistic Missile defences are being quickly set up to protect Innocent Civilians from Communist Missiles and the Litherlitharuanian Army is in the process of Moving through NouvelleTerre and is expected to be attacking into Scanterbury within the next 4 Days. In the meantime the NouvelleTerrian Military will be calling up 400,000 Reserves to Bolden it's forces.

Kelvin Cup to be delayed while War Rages

The NouvelleTerrian Football Board has stated that the Kelvin Cup will not be played while the War against the USSS rages on south. The Threat from Scanterburian Missile Attacks is too dangerous to put out of the Way, and the Teams voted 6-1 in Favour of Delaying the Kelvin Cup indefinately until the War is Over, the Only holdout being the Les Monts Royauxian Squad.

Communist Military Regroups

With Nouvelle Terre forces moving in from the north, and North Scanterburian, Nouvelle Terre and Litherlitharuanian ships blockading the port of Aubrey and relieving the blockade on Niverville, many in the country have lost hope of victory against their western neighbour.

Rumours say that President Brezinsky has gone into hiding in a hidden location somewhere in Indian Territory.

Some 1,800,000 USSS troops have deserted the army, with little confidence in the High Command. Other reinforcements are slow to arrive. The 1st and 2nd Armies have completely crumbled, and most have surrendered to Nouvelle Terre and Goodname troops coming in from the north.

Military officials have launched 40 more ICBMs at Goodname and the Theocracy of El Gato Blanco, as well as North Scanterbury. Some 10,000 North Scanterburians have been killed in the bombardments.

the Theocracy of el gato blanco whishes to open it's borders to all refugees from nouvelle terre and litherluania displaced in the recent conflict. All refugees will be granted permanant resident status providing that they enter the re-education progaram and learn one of the three official languages, French Russian or Sanscrit.

Military Redirected

Two days ago, Osama bin Hallatt secretly commanded his forces change their destination from the borders of the USSS by way of NouvelleTerre, to a new position, the boarders of North Scanterbury, in what can only be called, a military coup. The idea behind the change in destinations was to try and catch the USSS off guard.

"Our first priority is to the protection of our allies in North Scanterbury, not to the destruction of their enemies" said Osama bin Hallatt during last night's press conference.

Almost 600,000 Litherlitharuanian troops, including the newly commisioned Litherlitharuanian Minigun Division arrived at the North Scanterburian borders yesterday afternoon, and engaged the enemy. A fierce battle ensued.

Communication has been difficult to maintain due to a number of North Scanterburian radio stations being destroyed by previous attacks by the USSS. As a reprecution of this, the outcome of the battle is still a mystery, but officials say that Litherlitharuanian forces outnumbered those of the USSS at the North Scanterburian front, and because of that, it is believed by many, that the outcome of the battle, will turn out to be in the favor of Litherlitharuania.

NouvelleTerre troops run into Communist Forces

The NouvelleTerrian I, III, and VII Tank Corps making up the 1st Army ran into a Force of Scanterburian Communist Troops believed to be 60,000 Strong in Strength. The fighting is taking place 280 Kilometers North-East of Brezingrad and the fighting is tough as the Communist Troops are members of the Party Guard Corps as well as Regular Troops. So far attacks from the 1st Army have pushed the Communists back several Kilometers and the Communists are short of Support as Military Logistics is in a State of Disaray. NouvelleTerrian Casualties are stated as Medium and Communist Casualties are believed to be Heavy.

Airborne Army in process of Deployment outside Nationalist Controled Scanterbury

The NouvelleTerrian Airborne Corps is in the Process of Deployment to The Wheat Fields 7 Kilometers North-West of Scanterbury City. The Corps' intent is to support Nationalist Troops fighting in the City, as the Communists continue their attacks even with recent defeats. 3 Gunboats supplied to the Nationalists by Unknown Dealers in NouvelleTerre have been shelling Communist Positions along the Blue River.

Submarine INT-23 sinks Communist Missile Cruiser

Captain Sven Larson of INT-23 a Small Submarine along with INT-31 and INT-15 sank a Communist Missile Cruiser Yesterday launching 11 Torpedos at the Ship. The Missile Cruiser was escorted by 2 Frigates which were not hit by the Torpedos, and quickly fled without Picking up any Survivors. The Submarines waited Until the Frigates left then Proceded to Pick up 145 Survivors from the Burning ship, which took 23 Minutes to completely sink going Bow first into the Cold waters of the Southern Sea.

NouvelleTerrian VII Tank Corps comes within 100 Kilometers of Brezingrad

The NouvelleTerrian 1st Army has Fought it's way within 100 Kilometers of the USSS Capital of Brezingrad. Communists continue to surrender in their Thousands at a time and main problems are bring the Prisoners safely to the rear and into NouvelleTerre. Some Communist Units still retain a large majority of their Personnel, but most have been decimated by desertion and the massed Armies against them. Leftanant General Lacroix of the VII Tank Corps continues the Spearhead attack down the Brezingrad-Linden Road and they expect to be outside the city within a Week.

2nd Tank Division attack Massive supply train moving from Aubrey to Brezingrad

Tanks of the 2nd Tank Division along with Helicopter support attacked a 4.3 Mile long Supply Train moving from Aubrey to Brezingrad to supply Communist Troops fighting in the City. The Train was spotted several days earlier by a recon Plane, and the Tanks were diverted from the VII Tanks Corps to block it from supplying the belegured Garrison. The Leopard 2s and M-15s took a Position along a plain blocking the Train, which had to slow down. The Tanks then opened a devastating hail of Fire on the Train Cars and the Locomotive, which blew up with the Thousands of Tonnes of Arms on board. The Train defenders weren't able to defend themselves against the Tanks.

Scanterburian B-52 Shot down over Miguezville

A Communist B-52 was shot down Yesterday by a SAM, the incident happened over Miguezville when the B-52s passed over on route for a Bombing run on Janick, Litherlitharuania. 3 Members of the Crew bailed out and were taken into captivity.

Scanterburian Crew Dead

A Scanterburian B-2 bomber, shot down near the border of Nouvelle Terre yesterday had two crew members captured. Both were found dead in their cells, their deaths suspected to be caused by cyanide pills.


With the army supply line from Aubrey cut off, communist tankers have pushed a hole through the Nouvelle Terre line to make a bid into Indian Territory. Some 100,000 soldiers have already retreated into the territory, shedding equipment and uniforms, making their identification near impossible.

Some 800,000 former communist soldiers have been filtered through the Nouvelle Terre and Litherlitheruanian armies to join the North Scanterburian army. The beleaguered communist fleet has been scuttled and turned over to North Scanterbury.

Bin Hallatt Demands Answers

In a message adressed to the USSS last night, Osama bin Hallatt has demanded to know the fate of a Litherlitharuanian pilot, that was supposedly captured after his B-2 stealth bomber was downed by USSS forces in an early airstrike. "I demande that the pilot be returned unharmed, and immeadiatly to Litherlitharuania. Let it be known that if any harm has come to the captured pilot, the USSS will suffer at my hands!" Threatened Osama bin Hallatt.

As of now, there has been no word from the USSS.



The Healing Starts Now

Now that the USSS has been defeated, and the nation of North Scanterbury has been rescued, efforts have been made to help rebuild the damage done in the attacks.

Osama bin Hallatt has set aside a reasonable amount of money to pay a group of volenteers (around 20,000 people) to fly to North Scanterbury to help with the repairs. "The war is over, but our mission is not through. We will make sure that the people of North Scanterbury will have their houses rebuilt ASAP." says Osama bin Hallatt. "Furthermore, I have decided to open up several shelters in Litherlitharuania while houses are being rebuilt for those who lost them. This should help take some of the heavy load off of the overcrowded North Scanterburian shelters."

Sultan Duggan Dies!
Late last night, sultan Duggan died of a heart failure during his sleep. Doctors say it was completely unexpected as the sultan had not had any heart complitions before, or problems with any other major organs. Les Monts Royaux has had it's government changed since the sultan died leaving no heir. It has become several allied states led by the members of Al-Shimar, the former counsel of the Sultan Duggan. Scanterburian Revoultionary War Grines down to an End

Communist Forces hold line on Blue River

A few hours of the first Peace and Quiet occured on the Blue River Front in the Past 8 Months as a Cease-Fire between Pro-Nationalist and Communist Forces occured while representatives of the Two Sides negotiated for the whereabouts of a more organized Peacetalks. The Cease-Fire is procarious at best as the two sides depised each other greatly and attrocities have been common place during the War. The NouvelleTerrian Brokered cease-fire is expected to hold the Fighting indefinately.

NouvelleTerre defeats USSS in first Game of Kelvin Cup

In the first game of the Kelvin Cup under heavy security at the Imperial Horseshoe in Miguezville, Alfred Junot of the NouvelleTerre Squad scored in the 59th Minute of the Game to put NouvelleTerre ahead of Scanterbury 3-1. NouvelleTerre kept the Scanterburians in their Zone for most of the Game and were dominant on the Wings creating many Scoring Opperatunities through out the game. The first Goal was scored by Richard Beelt from Scanterbury in the 12th Minute when he headed the Ball in off of a Corner Kick, after that the game quickly turned and 2 Goals were scored in the 34th Minute and the 47th Minute just after the Half, both by Mid-Fielder Timothy Halder.

El Gato Blanco Edges Goodname in Corlionia

Sergei Amasova of El Gato Blanco managed to nail a shot from just outside of 18 Yard Box pass the Goodnamian Keeper Jon Sharpe in the 89th Minute to edge El Gato Blanco over Goodname in both of their first Games of the Cup. The Game was slow until about the 80th Minute when Goodname brought pressure on the El Gato Blancan Back 4. Jesus Rodriguez the El Gato Blancan Keeper cleared the Ball on the right wing which was quickly passed on to the 18 Yard Box were Sergei Amasova nailed a shot putting his Team Ahead.

A slow boring game was played today at the T&T Building in Alexander as Litherlitharuania and North Scanterbury played a 0-0 Draw. Nothing much happened during the game as both Teams looked bad in their first game, Coach Smith of Litherlitharuania looked ferocious as his Team put up a bad showing after their Team's Hype before the Tournament started. Coach Livingsworth of North Scanterbury also looked disappointed with his team's Preformance as his team only produced 4 Shots all game on Litherlitharuanian Keeper Dick Chalmbers.

Rumaythia Ties with Les Monts Royaux 1-1

A Well Played game by both teams as action flowed from end to end giving lots of Scoring Oppertunities for both teams. Action Peaked with a Goal by Stephen Van Merlan of Rumaythia in the 56th Minute and a Goal by Antonio de Ligny of Les Monts Royaux just 5 Minutes later in the 61st Minute. Both Coaches were happy with their Teams' Preformances however they both said to reporters after the game that they thought that making more use of their Scoring Chances could of won the Game. Rumaythia plays NouvelleTerre in Corlionia on Wednesday and Les Monts Royaux plays Litherlitharuania on the same day here in East Italy.

Peace Concluded in Brezingrad ending Scanterburian Revolutionary War

Diplomats from both sides agreed to a Peace Treaty with NouvelleTerrian Negotiator Thomas Henderson being in the Middle Ground. The Agreements are to seperate the Country in two at the Geographical Boundry of the Blue River which Seperates the Capital of the now Two Countries. Also the Puninsula which was the site of the Puninsula Rebellion before the War with the City of Aubrey has been ceded to North Scanterbury as well as the Off Shore Possession of Cook Island which was occupied by the Nationalist Navy during the Conflict. Military Forces of NouvelleTerre and Goodname are at the moment pulling back to their respective Countries and Peacekeeping Duties are being fufilled by the NouvelleTerrian Foreign Legion in the City of Scanterbury City/Brezingrad.

Prisoner Exchanges to Proceed

The 1,300,000 Communist Prisoners in the Hands of the Pro-Nationalist Forces will be exchanged for the 200,000 Prisoners taken by the Communists including 2000 NouvelleTerrians. Field Marshall Jamyl announced Yesterday in a big Press Conference that the Overall Military will be cut 60% from 110 Divisions now (including Reserves) to just 50. The Cuts are to help increase spending to add the Farmers as well as the Economy.

Airborne Corps returns to NouvelleTerre after Fighting in Brezingrad

The NouvelleTerrian Airborne Corps has returned from fighting in Brezingrad to a Welcomed return to a grateful Country. It's Commanding Officer Lieutenant General Yatinikin said Yesterday that "I can only hope that Military Cuts don't Destroy the Corps which displayed such Willingness to Fight for a just Cause." The Corps took 5000 Casualties in Heavy Fighting in Brezingrad alongside the Litherlitharuanian and Nationalist Forces in the City.

North Scanterburians set up Government

With the Grand Duchy of North Scanterbury having been brought to the point of destruction by military actions and the SSSRs expansion into the former territory, Grand Duke Pruden has made an agreement with President Jussef Brezin for North Scanterbury to again be re-bordered in the south, taking half of Brezingrad to be called Scanterbury, and the outlying area around Niverville and three hundred kilometers around the area to become the new country.

Documents have been signed, and the government is to be founded at midnight tonight.

Prime Minister Assassinated

Prime Minister Heidi Ackart was shot by a group of black dressed Gunmen outside the Capital Building as she returned from Parlimentary Debates today. She was escorted by Two Security Guards who were also Gunned down on the steps of the Parliment. The Some 30 NouvelleTerrian Divisions formed along the Blue river seperating West and East Scanterbury have broke up and started marching back to NouvelleTerre. They're Nobles have called for them to return to they're Homes until the Current situation has resolved.
