Tucsan in Rebellion
Tucsan, once a proud Watertest state, is splitting into civil disorder and unrest. After a small string of unemployment in the region, along with a 5.8% tax increase, the hardcore socialists of Tucsan are beginning to rebel against the Watertest government. Almost 18,000 Watertest soldiers have been mobilized in the region to keep the peace. After recent satellite surveillance, Watertest Intelligence Agency has reason to believe that Tucsan is building up a militia approximately 21,000 soldiers strong. If this militia does exist, Watertest will have no choice but to eliminate the militia and forcefully occupy Tucsan untill the rebellion is over.
OOC:
FYI and Rules
1) I am not invading a foreign nation, they are a colony in my empire.
2) This is more of Democracy vs. Socialism battle than anything else. The hardcore Socialists are pushing the state to rebel so they can form their government.
3) If you do want to join, make at least some attempt to RP
4) Also, try to keep this war on Tucsan soil, I don’t want 4 or 5 different wars branching out on this RP thread.(Not that you can't start other wars because of this, just don't start them in this thread)
5) Please, don’t flood the area with soldiers, a limit of 500,000 Soldiers
6) No WMD
7) Modern tech only please, (1940-2005)
8 ) No Godmoding

Liberate High Command
The Liberate High Command has witnessed much the same thing happen in our country, only a few months earlier. And we are aware of how difficult radicals are to deal with, we are prepared to commit our 2nd Armored division to your Colony of Tuscan to defeat the radicals and help you reclaim your soil. The 2nd Armored division is the same division which retook our troubled island from Islamic Redicals, they are very keen in warfighting ability.
My only division of Special Ops forces was destroyed in the conflict with the radicals on Liberated soil. I only have one Osprey Hybrid Transport that could be made into a gunship rather quickly. This is all I can offer, as my nation still mourns the loss of these twenty brave souls.
If you would wish for something slightly less messier than a full scale war on your own soil, the services of the Cronoerian Special Forces could be solicited. The removal of a few key rebellious figures could prove critical in crippling the resistence without much bloodshed on either side. In addition, should it come to war, rebel communication channels could be forcibly closed by our covert ops units, making it much easier for your military to divide and conquer all opposition.
The extent of our services determines the price. If you should wish to make use of our excellently trained blackops soldiers, name the operations you wish executed and a price will be given.

The Liberate Government appologises for your loss, and hereby issues Tulrania 4 Blackhawk Helicopters, and 100 Elite Guard to train your men into Expert Soldiers once again. The Choppers and Guard may be used in any way you like for 6 months, which is when we expect return.
Liberate America
We thank you for your generous offer, any help would be appreciated.
Tulrania
Thank you for your offer, however it would not be right for us to accept your only Osprey Hybrid Transport.

We are currently involved in several missions, and could possibly use a bit more help.
1) The assassination of "Premier" Illiosteivic
2) The destruction of AA batteries in the Northern sector of the country
3) The assassination of Gen. Johnson of the Socalist Army
4) The disruption of communication in Spitsbergen

The sunset slowly faded over the mountain side signaling the end of a long stressful day. Commander Johnson of the Peoples Socialist Militia stood studying a detailed map with his hands clasped behind his back. Eventually in frustration, he swiped the map off of his desk and began walking back and forth. He was in a difficult situation; the Socialist representatives were pushing him to attack Watertest forces. The prospect of attacking a fully functional army division didn’t seem that smart to him. After thinking several hours, and being ordered by the representatives, Johnson made his decision. In a coded message to the field army commander Johnson gave his order.
At 0800 hours, activate attack plan; Alpha Cova Bravo C on Watertest Forces in the region. Send both infantry divisions into the attack along with the 1st Armor Division. Strike swiftly and deadly, and send all of those bastards to hell

1.) A simple enough task, assuming the militia is not a proper military organization.
2.) Sabotage work that may require a ticky insertion via stealth naval delivery (which Cronoeria unfortunately is slightly lacking in, though we're working to rectify that.)
3.) Another simple assassination job.
4.) Will require a bit more time than the others, for insertion of covert operatives to find and disable the communication channels.
Total price (in dollars, for ease of transfer): 50k per mission, 150,000 for all four. All operational expenses (not expected to exceed 100,000 dollars) are to be paid for by your country as well.

Very Well, we shall depart our 5th Fleet, and our 2nd armored division to the waters off the Southern Coast of Tucsan. There we shall set up a small, offshore staging area and prepare for the invasion of Hopen, there we shall dig an airbase to Move in our short range, low flying A-6 Intrudors.
If, in any future event, you should need international assistance, please contact the Confederacy of Tulrania, as we would gladly help a national leader and a nation as yourself.

Admiral Jonhston of the Carrier Bedhorst, along with the rest of the 5th Invasion Fleet began closing upon the Southern Coast of the Archipelago, halting their advance about 20 nm from the beaches. Johnston ordered the ships into Invasion formation and moved the ship's pilots into high alert status in preparation for the landings on Hopen, and later on the Peninsula of Edgeoya.

OOC: Small-scale blackops missions with no expected direct confrontation. The most expensive part's gonna be the explosives for destroying the AA.
IC: Money recieved, blackops troops en route.
~At several points along the northern coast of the island Nordaustlandet~
Several black-painted rafts drift lazily along the tide toward shore in the dead of night, the wetsuited and flippered troops sliding silently off the edge into the water. Weighted ballast belts keeping them below the surface, equipment in watertight bags to prevent the water from having adverse effects on them, and short-use oxygen tanks supplying them with air, they approached shore, landing in discreet spots (preferably short stretches of beach under rocky cliffs.) Discarding swim gear and oxygen tanks, each team took a set of explosives and checked their weaponry, before setting out for the marked locations of the AA turrets...
Meanwhile, agents in Longyearbyen, Barentsburg, Spitsbergen, and Pyramiden were working discreetly to collect information on the whereabouts of Illiosteivic and Johnson. Even as they worked, yet more agents were working to insert themselves into the ranks of the rebellion, producing false documents claiming a specialization in communication and information technology...
OOC: I have to go now (Damn Time Restrictions  ), but this post will be replaced with a IC response tomorrow.
Doujin can assist with:
2) The destruction of AA batteries in the Northern sector of the country.
Give us the coordinates, and we will send in a small fleet, two Infusion classes and 3 mackensen classes to destroy them from sea.
I'm afraid I cannot allow that. Payment has been given to Cronoeria and troops dispatched with no easy way to contact them until their mission is fulfilled. To open fire on the AA batteries from sea would possibly endanger Cronoerian specops and therefore cannot be allowed.

President Weston was sitting at his desk, looking out into early morning sky. He had just awaken, and his black coffee was finally ready. He turned on the television the Lietuv News Agency News Network (LNANN), and saw that the temperatures would again be cold with more snow flurries predicted.
He turned on his laptop, and checked diplomatic transactions and made sure that war was not an occurrence between major interests. He then saw something that caught his eye...
President Weston picked up his telephone and called the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After speaking for a few moments, he then hung up the phone, and went to his ajoining room to shower and change. Within the hour, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Joshua Thompson, had arrived. Mr. Thompson was dressed in the typical black suit with a blue tie. President Weston walked out and saw him, and they greeted each other.
Joshua looked concerned, and inquired, "Mr. President, you called me?" The President answered with amusement, "Yes, Joshua, I did. There is no need to be so worried..However, I would like you to see this.." President Weston showed the Minister what he needed to see, and the two discussed their options. It was agreed that they would attempt to help Watertest with a contigent of forces.
---------------
To the nation of Watertest:
It is of our concern that your nation may suffer such strife, and the situation does not appear to be good. Of course democracy is always in need of protection, and we hope to be able to help in that area. Lietuveska is a democratic socialist state, and we will do anything necessary to help the democratic process continue.
It is our wish to send a small contigent of forces, listed below. We sincerely hope you will consider our offer, as protection of democracy and freedom is in Lietuv interests. We thank you in advance for any consideration you may have.
http://home.earthlink.net/~chipcomp/mfa.jpg
1st Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division
5,000 soldiers armed with M4 assault rifles and M40 frag grenades.
100 T-95 tanks
100 APCs
150 Humvees
Field Commander Cheban looked over his battle army one more time. It was an impressive sight: 40,000 soldiers marching with AK-47’s, Stingers, and RPG’s. After 5 hours of strenuous marching, they were only one mile away from their attack target, Tucsan Military Base. In twenty minutes the attack would begin, and hell would be let loose on Watertest Forces.

OOC: Where is the military base?
Liberate Aircraft Carrier Bedhorst
Admiral Johnston, getting word from his intel officer of recent, Massive troop movements, ordered an immediate airstrike upon the troop formation using 500 lb unguided bombs, dropped from F-14 FighterBomber aircraft equipped with Chaff and Flare Launchers, in addition to a 20mm Chaingun mounted in the aircraft's left fuselage.
http://www.ci.milton.fl.us/images/set1/carrier.gif
His order was immediately followed and the Aircraft began launching from the decks of the Bedhorst, en route to their target.
OOC: The base is in LongYearByen. I was actually hoping that a nation would control Tucsan, or play on the side of the rebels. I have alot of stuff that needs to be accomplished (Christmas stuff).

F-14C Tomcat Squadron Leader
This is Squadron Leader Mikhail, we have sighted the target and we are releasing our ordinace. We did not encounter any resistance crossing the island. Wait.....i have SAM launches....EVASIVE ACTION!
http://www.tonypierce.com/images/holywar/explosions.jpg
The Bombs, aimed at enemy troop formations.
Mikhail Stebrensky whipped his plane left and released his load of flares, 2 of the 3 stingers which were fired at him took the bait, but the last persisted. The missle continued to close on his aircraft. Realizing he was not going to lose it, he punched out of the aircraft, the missle slamming into the unibody construction of the F-14C only seconds later. He and his parachute drifted lazily towards the ground, near where the bombs hit to await the mercy of the rebels.

The F-14C, seconds after being hit by the missle
The remainder of the squadron returned to the carrier, unharmed. Mikhail however was unaccounted for, and presumed captured.
“What the Hell is that sound? It sounds like it is coming from………….the air.” Cheban looked up into the sky and briefly saw the outlines of F-14’s screaming toward the Socialist army positioned to strike Watertest forces. He suddenly realized that the Socialists weren’t in the possession of any carriers, those were enemy aircraft about to attack. He screamed “Get me the commander on the phone, NOW.”
By the time he reached Gen. Johnson, the damage had been done. Screaming into the telephone Johnson said “Where the f--- did those aircraft come from? 1,212 Soldiers, 105 Pickups, and 26 T-55 Tanks were destroyed in the bombing. The worst part is that Watertest Forces noticed something was wrong and sent out scouts and M1A3’s to figure out what it was.” Gen. Cheban replied “We could only destroy one aircraft with our portable Sam’s, and the pilot ejected out. He was captured and is being interrogated as we speak.”
Cheban stopped talking as he heard a loud explosion to his far right. He turned 130 Degree’s and spotted almost 230 M1A3 tanks firing at their position almost 3 Km’s away………… (OOC: I will continue this later, I have to go Christmas shopping   )
