The Liberate government comes before the world to request plans for an adequate Nuclear Defense system, capable of downing Nuclear Missles while they are still in the upper atmosphere. We are prepared to offer up to and over $5,000,000,000 for designs and 1 prototype for testing.
The Diplomatic Union of Cronoeria would be glad to accept the grant, in exchange for teaching Liberated American diplomats how to avoid pissing off nuclear powers. So far, this has proven to be a completely effective nuclear defense system.

Nukes are a last resort defense. Most nuclear powers here don't understand that, let alone the n00b nations that claim nukes. My nation has just begun Sternsturm, its own nuclear program. I hope I never use that, as I prefer to fight with honor. Armored battalions are more fun than nukes anyways.

The reason the US doesnt have a Working AMS is because the use of one would render their own ICBMs useless due to the electromagnetic thingies and such.

Well, my main point was the US is very capable of developing an AMS system, thats why im not doing it myself, im employing older, better nations to do it for me. And i want one thats not an idiot.

A really effective counter to any system that shoots down missiles (especially nucular ones) is just have the warhead active sooner.
You shoot it you get lots of lovely radiatoin and mushroom cloud in the sky.

Wow... had this happened with older nations around you may here the fact that a system designed to stop nuclear attacks working would cost alot more then $5'000'000'000, seeing as you can get a Nimtz Carrier for $4'000'000'000 and nuclear weapons cost well in excess of a couple billion...
These things ain't cheep, why do you think nations get anoyed when you try to have Nuclear weapons? It's because Nukes are exspenive and they are hard to produce, the technology is well beyond that of a small nation, let alone something which can stop one...
