The soldiers and engineers who were assigned to build and work at the wall cheered as the final piece of the wall at the edge of the French-Spanish border became a target for a bottle of nice French wine. The man incharge of building the wall, Karl Herman, was proud of the best defense of The European Reich, as it is now called that he created. Spanning from the borders of France-Spain across the atlantic ocean to the tip of Norway, with the German Navy controlling half of the ocean, while the Royal Navy(what was left of it) and the United States Navy controlled the other half. The armistice limited the British and American navies over seventy five miles away from the Atlantic Wall, any closer would be considered hostile. It was clearly a glorious day for Germany.
