Colerica Imperial News has just been told that last night the Colerican military carried out "Operation: Ice-Out", a raid on a building complex in the city of Raxus.

The target of the raid: Eric Ledger, leader of the section of the Global Liberation Army that has been operating within Colerica.

Intelligence that was extracted from the GLA terrorist lieutenant, Grayson, led to the location of Ledger. Grayson would have recieved an exchange for leaking the intel, but he decided against it. Grayson was then, by his own wishes, executed this morning.

A mixture of over seven hundred security police, Imperial Royal Guards, Special Forces--(Colerican, Central Facehuggeria, and Exetonia), and others made up the raiding team. A specific breaching group was landed, via UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters, to the building complex where Ledger was meeting at. They entered the building and secured the first floor. The rest of the troops inflitrated the building, evventually capturing Ledger before he could take his own life.

Magistrate of War, Xevven Jericho, released a brief statement at a press conference, saying, "He's our's. Last night, in a mission dubbed, 'Operation: Ice-Out', our forces detained Eric Ledger, leader of the group of Global Liberation Army terrorists that is operating out of Colerica. This is a major victory in the war on the GLA. We have their Colerican cell leader, and he will never again see freedom."

Kressi Thra, Magistrate of State, said, "This is a glorious day for Colerica. We have captured one of the most vile men in the world, and he will face justice."

Ms. Thra also wishes to remind Colericans that Ledger isn't the leader of all of the Global Liberation Army, just the leader of GLA's Colerican cell. He commanded the terrorist members that reside in Colerica and now he is behind bars.

Emperor Maderic Thra couldn't be reached for comment, but is expected to release some form of a statement later today.

Ledger is currently being held in a undisclosed location.

We now take you to General Azben Koren's press conference, live from the Imperial Palace....

General Koren approaches the podium. He is a stern-faced man--short black hair, black beard, and a blue uniform. Adjacent to him are two Imperial Royal Gaurds, wearing their trademark crimson uniforms and carrying their M-14's, bayonets fixed. IRG's are commenly referred to as Crimson Gaurds for this reason.

General Koren: "Ladies and gentlemen, as you are all well aware of now, we have captured the leader of the Global Liberation Army's operatives in Colerica, Eric Ledger. Last night, a vast combination of many forces dispatched to a building complex in the city of Raxus. There, the forces inflitrated the building and detained Ledger, alive. This operation was codenamed, 'Operation: Ice-Out', as our intentions were very clear. We iced-out Eric Ledger. We will now take limited questions."

Reporter #1: "General Koren, with respect, I'd like to know how the military knew where to get Ledger at. Who tipped you off?"

General Koren: "In our interrogation of the GLA liuetenant, Grayson, he gave us key information regarding Ledger. He finally leaked out the location where Ledger was hiding out and we quickly sent spies to verify it. As soon as our men confirmed his claim, we moved in."

Reporter #2: "Why did you still execute Grayson?"

General Koren: "On Isle Majo, we offered Grayson a chance out of the death penalty, as an incentive for giving us such crucial intel. He declined and asked if he could be executed. We are unaware of why he would ask to do such, but we carried out with his request."

Reporter #3: "Can you shed some light on how long the raid took in total?"

General Koren: "The raid lasted less than forty-five minutes in total. The force was quick, effective, and deadly."

Reporter #4: "Now that Ledger has been captured, is the Colerican Empire going to send back the Special Forces that came from Central Facehuggeria and Exetonia?"

General Koren: "The Special Forces that came from both countries are packing up as we speak to head back to their homeland. They served bravely, and we wish to thank both of the countries, dearly. All of the Special Forces that came to Colerica will be returned to their respective nations very shortly."

Reporter #5: "Why is that the Colerican Empire is releasing this information now? What else have you been hiding from us?"

General Koren pauses for a moment. He exchanges glances at two of the Crimson Gaurds at his side. Within seconds they make their way to the ground floor and haul off the reporter.

General Koren: "To answer his first question. We didn't release this information to the public until now as to not do it prematurely. Now is the most adaquate time."

Reporter #6: "What will happen to Eric Ledger?"

General Koren: "We are debating that right now. Some citizens and officials have discussed turning him over to the United Nations for trial. Others, myself included, believe he should be given trial here for his crimes. He committed his crimes against the United Empire, not the UN. Either way, we are positive he will be executed. Eric Ledger deserves to die.

Reporter #7: "What can you--"

General Koren (interrupting him): "I'm sorry, we are pressed for time. I can take no further questions."

That was General Azben Koren's brief press conference addressing several questions about the capture of Eric Ledger. We will be sure to cover the statement by Emperor Thra when it is released.
