The Royal Shipyards of Isselmere-Nieland are implementing new technology that will facilitate crew reductions allowing for a more rapid expansion of the RINN.

All existing vessels not currently on active station (4 of 6 active CBGs) will return to port for overhaul and all new vessels will benefit from the new techniques.

Regrettably, the Royal Shipyards is unable to fill your request as it would bankrupt your navy. I recommend purchasing a smaller surface combattant for the time being, perhaps a frigate?

THe federation of Afsania would like to aquire one Royal Edmund-class Aircraft Carrier and 3 Daurmont-class General Purpose Destroyers. If posible, could the aircraft carrier be purpoosly refitted to cater to a full complement of merlin's and hawkeyes. We are a non millitary nation and require these 4 ships to expand our coastguard. They're main roles would involve serch and rescue as well as to combat our ever increasing problem with piracy and fisheries poaching The helecopters are more efficent in carrying in troops for boarding and jets are a extravagence our millitary cannot afford. We can offer a 5 year repayment option, but are willing to negotiate.

The cost for the four ships would be $4.57 billion before the cost of the aircraft. That said, Isselmere-Nielander carriers are capable of launching and landing all current (i.e. present to 2020) carrier-based aircraft. A Royal Edmund-class carrier could support 60 Merlins and 4 Hawkeyes, or 50 Merlins and 8 Hawkeyes. I could sell you Merlins for $18 million each, and Hawkeyes for $37.5 million each.

With the second option (50 Merlins, 8 Hawkeyes), it comes to a grand total of $5.842 billion. An all-helicopter option is also possible, which would have Merlin-AEW (equipped with Searchwater 2000 radar, $25 million per), for a total of 70 helicopters. A leasing arrangement for certain considerations (i.e. our growing population would be interested in some fish shipments, and could use access to your automobile and heavy machinery markets) could assuredly be made, which should cut the cost somewhat (say $5.25 billion or less).

The configuration utalising the 8 Hawkeyes would be preferable. I have confired with our Minister for Fisheries, and he tells me that with the improvments in the control and managment of the fishereis these ships will provide (as well as the safety), we can defeinetly start exporting fish and other seafood to your country. He request that your your minister contact him to work out the details.

At this current moment, we are only producing electric/fule hybrid cars for the local market. We could posibly expand to the export market over the next year or two (well according to our minister for automotive afairs). As we are a scientific community, we have very little heavy industry as such.

The price of $3.25 billion is more than acceptable. If we could arange a regular quaterly payment of $162.5 million over the next 5 years (ooc: everything depends on your definition of a billion... it's just the price devided by 20).

If this is acceptalbe, we should organise the siging of the agreements in the next few days (ooc: aka whenever), as our stocks of fish cannot take any more punishment from these pirates or they will collapse.

My Lord,

The Royal Isselmere-Nielander Navy is a firm believer and the main customer of the Shipyard's products, as my Lord might expect. The Afsanian Coast Guard recently purchased four vessels (1 carrier and 3 GP destroyers) while Anyang purchased a light carrier and two cruise missile submarines. The RINN is well satisfied by the vessels we produce as the ships possess many safety features including distributed fire mains, lightweight ballistic ceramic and nylon protection for magazines and machinery, redundant electro-optical wiring trunks and computer complexes. Trial data itself will be provided as soon as possible. In which ships is my Lord interested?

Thank you for your interest,

We would be highly appreciative of atleast a few months of training (with compensation of course). We have selected the crews for these ships, but as they are a large increase in our coast guard, the majority of them are new recrutes. Sub-commander Geros has been promoted to take on this responcibility and will be taking controll of the new ships. She is also responcibile for their integration into the fleet. She is a vetren of our coast guard and has distiguished herself on many occations. From this point she will be contacting you to arrange the hand over.

Our minister for Fisheries, has informend me that a deal has been made and the first shipment of fish is on it's way to Isselmere's major port.

The minister for automotives is currently dealing with a massive push for public transport between the Islands. He informs me that due to this, there will be a posible increase in the number of electric/fule hybrids for export in the near future. I believe he mentioned being in contact with your trade minister to arange a a mutualy benificial tax free threshold.

Hopefully this will be the first of many ventures between our two nations. We hope to see you on the seas.
