In an unsurprising move today, the Imperial Senate voted to support economic sanctions against the nation of Crappypants. What is surprising, however, is the amendment made to the measure that suggests an air and naval blockade against Crappypants may be desireable in order to prevent the further procurement of nuclear weapons. Some have expressed worry that the nation of Crappypants would feel like they were being backed into a wall by a blockade and lash out using nuclear weapons. When Admiral Sun was asked about that possibility in a press conference, he replied by saying, "The nation of Crappypants is a high school player just entering the minors while we've been in the big leagues for a long time. If they want to play ball, they're going to be playing at our level when they haven't got the means for it."

Captain McCleod was not happy with this mission, flying over a country that had just acquired nuclear weapon with the express purpose of taking images so that command could figure out a way to destroy them.

"Tower, this is Raccoon requesting permission to take off."

"Roger that, Raccoon, permission is granted."

"Raccoons, let's roll."

The RF-28 Wolverines took off in groups of four on full afterburners and climbed to 35,000 feet in no time at all. They stayed at that level until they met the refuelers and then began a steady climb to 70,000 feet where radar detection was touchy at best for conventional aircraft, which made stealth aircraft such as theirs impossible to detect. When they reached the Crappypants coastline Captain McCleod addressed them, "This is where we break off, groups of two to your objective. God speed."

Two clicks from eleven other pilots was all that answered him. As they neared their targets they turned their cameras to standby and when they were almost directly over they turned on the cameras and sensors to record everything they could about their targets. After the camera went red, which showed that the different films had run out, they turned around and headed back to base, but not before reforming and refueling again.

'Contact Scandivian States. Ask them if we cuold assist a blockade. If a nation such as crappypants gains WMD's, then whats to stop rogue nation its size gaining them.'
'And if they say no comrade admiral ?'
'We will do it anyway. Are our bombardment cruisers in range of the capital ?'
'No comrade Admiral'
'Then bring up the Nuclear Submarine, Peoples Revenge'
'Sir, are we authorized to do this ?'
'No' Admiral Arakan stated simply.
'But comrade, we will be counted as renegades ?'

The admiral smiled. Soon he would have control of the PSRH.

OOC: Water, and could you please make your own thread for your own ops? I don't want to have anything to do with your nuking his capital. Besides, if you nuke him I'll be forced to destroy your ships.

So the first action of the Imperial Navy was going to be a blockade, how wonderful the admiral couldn't help but think with just a little bit of sarcasm. There were only two good things to come out of this so far, he could fire on anyone that was stupid enough to try and run the blockade and he wouldn't have the responsibility to decide if the use of nuclear weapons was appropriate or not. Admiral Jorgenssen addressed the captain of the carrier, "Captain Li, please signal the other battlegroups that we are to get underway as soon as possible, we must leave port while it is still dark.
