The Ground Based Inteceptor is sent information from the Ground during flight through the IFICS to update the location of the incoming ballistic missile, enabling the GBI onboard sensor system to identify and home-in on the assigned target. The GBI element would include the interceptor and associated launch and support equipment, silos, facilities, and personnel. The GBI missile has two main components: an EKV and solid propellant boosters. Each GBI site would be adequate in size to initially accommodate 20 interceptor missiles, with expansion possible to as many as 100 interceptors. The GBI would be a dormant missile that would remain in the underground launch silo until launch. Launches would occur only in defense of the Nation from a ballistic missile attack.
I will take 10 of these babies. I need to have some nukes for last resort defense.

Interesting. Although a mobile missile site would be much easier to conceal. Being constantly on the move would make it impossible for insurgents to know the location of an Interceptor site accurately.

I will purchase 10,000 of these interceptors, as well as enough launch platforms to launch these missles. It may seem like a lot, but I want my nation to be invulnerable to nuclear missle attacks. I believe the cost will come to 20 Million. This isn't much compared to my military budge, so please ship immediatly. Thank you for your time.

I am not really worried about ICBM's, it is the ones that fire from relativly close range that worry me.

If you are trying to counter airburst warheads there is no point in hitting over your own head.
