Secure transmission to HMS Dauntless

This is RN Capt Falco X calling the HMS Dauntless. We are transmitting via secure net our sonar logs with the estimated locations of all submarines not belonging to the Navy of the Republic. Our subs will remain on the surface during the remainder of our operations in the Falklands. We are aware that the FCN has subs operating in the area so we urge you to pursue any possible sonar contacts with caution.

We plan to begin an ordered withdrawl from the islands as soon as your own forces are ready and able to resume garrison duty. My aide is available to work out a specific timeline for the transition.

While we appreciate your offer of a celebratory party, we are more anxious to return to our own beloved island; so the quicker we can effect the transition the better.

Intelligence reports have confirmed that terrorists have somehow purchased from the Russian black market, five of the latest Russian Akula III Class SSNs. 5CN SSNs sent to interdict these submarines in both the GIUK Gap and the Baltic Sea were too late. From intelligence reports, these SSNs have managed to come all the way south to the Falkland Islands to derail the fragile peace process and ignite a war of enormous proportions. From additional reports from 5CN military personnel in the area, these terrorists have begun launching attacks against the 5CN warships patrolling the area. We have reports that the Virginia XI Class SSN, the Tianjin might have been sunk by these terrorists.

To this end, we notify all nations in the area of the terrorists and request assistance in destroying this threat.

Once these terrorists are gone for good, the Five Civilized Nations will remove its presence from the islands.

Here's the timeline
Dominion forces land, and operatives of Falklander decent/origin are employed by the Dominion to overthrow the current Falkland government. (Think Bay of Pigs)
Falkland gov overthrown, puppet government installed. (That's why we could say that we were asked for help, because the governers were on our payroll)
Puppet gov asks Dominion forces to take care of the British troops
Dominion soldiers begin fanning out to take care of British resistance
Dominion engineers begin building housing, and token other facilities
British resistance is eliminated except for the base
British base is destroyed by 'terrorists' (which is true, although the terrorists were indirectly funded by Talkosian intelligence, but the Dominion government didn't officially know this)
Dominion begins moving in "relatives." This number will eventually bring up the population to over 7,000 before Dominion forces are forced to pull out. (this was our trump card, until of course it was ruled that those not on the island before Dominion forces landed were not eligible to vote)

And, our end note. We've been forshadowing this for some time, and frankly, we're suprised it took so long for yall to figure out that the Islands would remain out of our hands. :wink:

Talkosian government in shambles, Army General Sanchez has commenced a vote of no confidence in Councilor Yang, dissolves council. 6 of the 7 High Councilors are out of the country, and the Senior Councilor is facing high opposition by pro-war parties. General Sanchez has taken control of the newly mobilized reserve divisions, and is urging the Senior Councilor to step down, and reform the High Council on the Ministers currently present, which will then retake all lost Talkosian claims.

This is Admiral Marcos, formerly of the Dominion High Council. Now yall, I've been through two revolutions, and I ain't gonna get my head chopped off this time either. I'm taking my forces out to sea, perhaps to dock at an allied port. Of the 22 Carrier TGs deployed on extended duty around the world, only two have not obeyed my commands to stay out of the civil war. Any Talkosian ships that are attempting to enter either this area or Dominion waters before there is peace on the mainland are rogue ships, and I take no responsibility for their actions. Oh, and by the way, anyone got a port we could use?

Protesters stormed the Capitol building and arrested those present for "Crimes Against the Dominion," thousands have fled to the countryside, and the death toll nationwide is expected to be in the thousands. General Sanchez has surrounded the Capital, but Senior Councilor Yang has summoned up the Council Guard, and the 3rd Tank Brigade from it's barracks near the city.

More reports are expected to be forthcoming, but casultie reports range in the tens of thousands. General Sanchez has given this official statement, "We intend to realize the manifest destiny of Talkos, we have been betrayed by our leaders and we can do nothing less, but attempt to rectify this tragedy."

It has been rumored that Senior Councilor Yang, has escaped the city, and is attempting to flee the country. A $60,000 reward has been offered for his capture.

Loyalist forces are grouping in both the North-West, where most of the standing army of the Dominion is located, and in the West. But it is unknown how many survived the inital bloodletting. It is estimated that the rebel forces will be quickly overmatched by these Loyalist armies, but either way, the majority of the former government has either been slaughtered or is in prison, of the Former High Council, Foreign Minister Ramon Nomis is known to be among the dead, Senior Councilor Yang's whereabouts are unknown, and the remaining members have been out of the country attending diplomatic functions for the past month.

The Republic of Ozymandias IV will send an envoy to Talkos once the shooting stops in the hopes of re-opening economic ties between our two nations.

The Republic begins pulling its ground forces out of the Falklands via military transport jets. The Marines will remain until Old Brittania completes its takeover of the islands.

The RN fleet around the islands is back to the original number of ships with the battle group centered around the Liberty and Republic.

Message from Liberty to the FCN naval units operating in the Falklands:
We have multiple sonar contact plotted, however we cannot tell with certainity which contacts are FCN boats and which are the rogue subs. We do not want to engage friendly units. Our ASW units (helos, frigates and destroyers) will continue to prosecute contacts until their identities can be confirmed.

Please advise.

Enemy submarines are believed to be utilizing Russian submarines of the Akula Class, albeit heavily modified and improved. 5CN uses improved American Virginia Class SSNs and state-of-the-art neo-titanium-ceramic submarines...

After reading the message twice the executive officer shook his head It could be lots of things - all of them bad. I'll touch base with Old Brittania's people and tell them to get a move on...
