The Liberated American Government would like to present its newest venture into military technology. The PD-9. The PD-9 (Standing for Personal Defense, 9mm) was developed as a joint project between LibCorp, and OmniscienceTech to solve the problems that tank crews faced, when equipped with either bulkey Carbine rifles, or underpowered pistols.

Thus the PD-9 was born, sporting a 20, or 40 round clip it is capable of accuracy out to 200 meters. The PD-9 is a compact submachine gun, with the magazine being inserted into the pistol grip, folding forward grip and telescoped buttstock, and is designed to fire special, high velocity ammunition. The receiver, along with the pistol grip, is made from the polymer with steel reinforcements. on the top side of the receiver there is a picatinny-style rail for sight mountings. The action of the PD-9 is somewhat unusual for weapon of such small size, since it is gas operated, rotating bolt design, which stronly resembles the action of the HK G-36 assault rifle, suitably scaled down. The ambidextrous fire mode selector/safety switch allows for semi-auto and full-auto modes.

HHmmm an interesting take on the MP7 but high velocity 9mm rounds are a bit of an issue as they would need fairly massive cartriages (and going by your picture the roudns would be about 20mm across at the base! and fairly long).

Persoanlly .224boz would be a better round choice for a PDW style weapon (basically a necked down 9x19mm parabellum round).

OOC: At least i took care not to completely copy to text from the website, and i changed the cartridge for the sake of origionality.

And the 9mmKE round which we have developed has as much stopping power as many rifle rounds, due to the Air pocket, which is located inside the bullet head. Upon impact the air pocket releases, causing terrible damage and making the bullet tumble 5x more than a regular 9mm round. Giving the bullet the nickname, "Poison Bullet".

OOC: Actually United Elias, his 9mm rounds will have much greater stopping power than 4.6x30mm rounds... though the teeny 4.6mm rounds punch through armor fairly easily (actually more needle through than punch through), they leave pathetic "icepick" wounds that have little chance of incapacitating an armed enemy before he is able to nail you. It is generally considered poor form to die in the process of shooting your enemy.

And Rebeland, production rights to our PD-9 venture go at 10 Billion dollars per year of production for 5 years, then you have complete production rights. This price being so high because this is the only Liberate project past Beta Stages.
