.o0Arms Build-up0o.

17-12-2003, 23:48
In order to rapidly industrialize and supplement their already strong economy, the Kingdom of Chancellory has begun a massive arms
build-up , centering mostly around the creation and standardization of a modern army. Utilizing international contractors, its own sufficient supply of scientific knowledge, and a feverish factory work ethic, the relatively small nation has invested nearly thirty percent of it's current annual income to fund it's new army and navy.

When asked to comment upon this issue, Lord Marculleas De Armiganne, newly-crowned King, speaks with a certain gravity. "While conservative in nature, our nation will rise to join it's equals upon the international stage not only politically and economically, but also militarilly."

More to come as the issue develops.

We will keep an eye on this development. If you seek international contractors, we may assist you in the development of new weapons to further your cause. We also have large stores of leftover weapons that are going at a heavily discounted price.

As to alleviate concerns, Chancellory has chosen to publicize their new contracts pending with domestic and international arms companies.

SiG 552-Q Assault Rifle (General Infantry and Navy Issue)

Sporting a gas-blowback system, and three modes of fire, the SiG 554 is the product of over twenty years of research in the study of full-automatic rifles. The Q is a new model for the Chancellorian military, sporting an extended clip and a new .223 flachette round, which detonates after impacting and impaling itself within the target, thus causing more damage.

CRA A57 Assault Rifle (Special Forces)

The HK heavy assault system was invented originally for the US military, but through successful counter-intelligence, and corporate manipulation, the plans for such a weapon system were secured, and reproduced within Chancellorian borders. Like it's predecessor, the 57 features an underslung grenade launcher, 5.56 NATO rounds, and the red-dot scope. However, unlike the HK version, the A57 features a built-in silencer and tac-grip.

CRA Firedragon Multi-purpose Anti-Armor

This weapon's familiarity with the common man is well known, for it, despite its new zoom-scope and higher ordinance missile, has remained relatively unchanged in the last twenty-five years.

CRA Heavy Machine Gun

Based off of the US military's Squad Automatic Weapon, the CRA features a blazing 400 rounds / minute output ratio, using the heavy 5.2 NATO armor-piercing rounds. With the addition of the new automatic range-finder and computerized targetting system, the efficiency of such a weapon has increased exponentially.

Currently, the infantry requirements of the Chancellorian military having been satisfied, the grand kingdom seeks to purchase with it's affluent economy several naval destroyers, and also is quite interested in the following fields:

-Heavy-Armor Tanks and APCs
-Aircraft (preferably heavy bombers)
-Ion and beam weaponry
