A press release from Mikosolf Chairman Reif Dnelufwa stated this:
Our '1st Division' soldiers have turned about to be all we wanted them to be. After pitting ten of them against "hostile" mercs in a controlled combat situation (neither the mercs nor 1-D knew this of course). We have found combat effectivness of a 1-D soldier to be about a 1:6.3 ratio. Meaning each single 1-D infantry man is equal to six of a normal infantry.
He was also quoted saying that this was to be the last announcment on 1st Division research and anyother break throughs will most likey be in weapons for this new breed of soldiers.
