The SIV-11, an Infantry Fighting Vehicle and APC rolled into one. It was designed to provide the ARSB with a para-drop capable IFV to accompany UAZ-Ps and T-05s into battle and to provide paradrop forces an efficient and light fast attack vehicle as well as an efficient personnel carrier. The SIV-11 was funded through ARSB's desire to build a seperate, lighter force that could project ARSB military strength to any region on the planet in a short period of time. Through this project we have developed the successful LBT T-05 and the UAZ-P.
Specifications:
Length: 9.4 meters
Width: 3.6 meters
Height: 4.6 meters
Weight: 16.5 tons
Engine: SB-HT/LEP-E7(rated at 380 hp) 430 hp Diesel electric-assist engine with SB-TCU-1 turbocharger
Transmission: SB-HTIVT-T3 automatic transmission with variable gear selector (located on side of throttle control and/or steering bars, at the click of the button (click on upper portion to shift up, lower portion to shift down) you can instantly switch gears to meet the needs of the vehicle and environment. Has 22 forward gears and 6 reverse.
Drivetrain: 4 axles (rear axle can lift off ground), operates mostly in 4wd mode, when needed can switch to 8 wheel (assuming fourth axle is on the ground, if not: 6wd)
Top road speed: 66 miles per hour
Top off-road speed: 46 miles per hour
Range- 330 miles (with full fuel, standard load, and ideal conditions)
Crew: 3 (Driver, Section Commander, Gunner) Can carry up to twelve infantrymen with full gear
Armament: 25mm SB-APCG-03 Automatic cannon, 7.62mm PKT, dual ATGM racks (on each side of turret), 8 smoke grenade launchers (6 filled with smoke grenades, two filled with flares) located with 3 along each rear side of turret and two in back of turret.
Armor: SB-ACMCAS-1- Advanced Coarse Materiel Composite Armor System- System uses a layer of galvanized, treated steel (1/8th inch wide) on the outside that covers a 2 inch layer of coarse ceramics material with another layer of 1/8th inch treated steel behind that. An aluminum honeycomb layer follows that with a very thing layer of flexible aluminum alloy as a guard against shrapnel.
Systems: ALMRS/TTAC-03M, NBC, Shtora-3 defense suit, AEISCN-01, ARENA
ALMRS/TTAC-03M system: Tracks up to 24 enemies and ranks them according to range, heading, threat level, and unit-type to provide best possible firing solution. Also computes MOA and other variables and automatically sets turret and barrel to correct heading (when this feature is engaged) and can fire on up to two targets simultaneously (assuming ATGM's are on their respectable slides). When a certain feature is engaged, the weapon can automatically engaged enemy units.
ARENA: Scrambles enemy ATGM's radars and tracking systems, also causes their navigational systems to cause them soaring into the sky until they detonate.
Shtora-3 defense suite: Scrambles enemy laser rangefinder, making it nearly impossible for enemy tank to fire, unless they guess the range. Also scrambles enemy communications systems and tracking systems. Also interferes with enemy laser-based systems and laser-type weapons by using a controlled beam of ultraviolet rays to scatter the laser (communications systems, weapons systems, rangefinder systems)
AEISCN-01: Shares target information with other friendly units in the field along with other information, also allows friendly units in large numbers to make coordinated attacks through out the battlefield. Also allows friendly unitss to instantly reorganize into new squadrons and divisions for new assaults and also relays all information back to command. This system also checks in every 2 minutes (or shorter; can be adjusted) with GPS and military satellites to update terrain and enemy movements.
Variants:
SIV-11A (Dedicated IFV)
SIV-11B (AA gun system) Dual 14.7mm AA cannons
SIV-11C (Command Variant) Command and control system for commanding multiple units, added communications equipment and increased armor
SIV-11E (AA missile system) has dual quad-missile AA launchers (one on each side of turret)
SIV-11G (Anti-tank) has a 100mm cannon and a four-missile launcher on left side of turret
SIV-11H (Combat Engineer) has a crane/winch system, increased transmission performance, three-point hitch system, hydraulics, and repair tools
Relative cost: $780,000 of standard SIV-02
Prices for variants:
SIV-11A: $780,000
SIV-11B: $750,000
SIV-11C: $790,000
SIV-11E: $840,000
SIV-11G: $830,000
SIV-11H: $800,000
