In newspapers everywhere....

Out in the American desert, thousands were startled by a massive bang that filled the air and a streak of light speeding through the sky before disappearing into the valley. Several witnesses say that they also heard a strange boom echo from the valley after it fell.

Scientists are declaring the object a meteorite despite the Roswell enthusiasts whom think it might be another UFO crash. Against better judgement, citizens have drove out of town in their trucks and jeeps to search for the alleged "alien spacecraft."

A nearby rancher, Jones McGurfinn, claims that he saw the UFO make its noisy crashlanding in the valley. "I saw it speed by—a small, bulky metallic craft—before it disappeared behind the redge and its impact creating an earshattering boom. I'm afraid to take a look, but its on my land."

Jones struggles to keep order on his ranch, the mentioned citizens gathering there to demand to see the "saucer." Several he had authorities drag from the valley, kicking and screaming.

So it remains a wonder, meteorite or bad alien drivers?

Our forces has the equipment to find and detain the aliens. We will quickly send it to Area 51.

A lone Vzxlackian stumbled out of the crashed scoutship, its antlike eyes taking in the outside surroundings with a glance. The crash had killed and knocked out most of the crew, two others still conscious but wounded. Something had shot their ship down while they had been collecting data on Earth.

OOC: I need an American country to play the government of the land they're in, and someone responsible for shooting them down in the first place.

The destroyer Judicator powered down its cannons and resumed its normal patrol orbit.
"Sir...we got them, confirmed crash, there appear to be survivors..."
"Good...whats the status of the area they crashed in?"
"Well, they have space travel, barely. It seems that the actual country itself is well into the nuclear age, the people are well off for their time period. No other details of any importance are avalible."
"Damn...so they dont have FTL travel?"
"Nope...what is our course of action?"
"Well, it is our responsibility to aide primitives. Lets go down, its a good excuse to go on planet anyway."
"Yessir. Ill send for a dropship immidiatly."
"Send a couple of tanks and fighters as well, we want to impress."
"Yessir"

In the hangerbay two dropships and four fighters were being loaded with missiles and stuntraps.
Two Stumpy medium tanks rolled onto each ship, and were secured, they were soon followed by a Commander assault suit and ten DGNT troopers.

The lone Vzxlackian was surveying the valley from atop the crashed scoutship. Holding a pair of high tech binoculars to its eyes, it detected the presence of lifeforms not so far away. It watched the distant activity over the ridge, studying the crowds of hairless apelike creatures with their parked, inferior fossil fuel driven machines.

It was surprised to find that its ship had crashed such a low tech world. But it kept in mind, with ten of the crew dead, seven unconsious, and the ship lost of all power, such a primitive world can be extremely deadly.

Hey Vzx...might wanna edit the title, add a thing asking for a modern tech nation, then we could make this a 'real' RP, not just a sort of wargame.
