In a stunning event of cowardiness, terrorists belonging to the Global Liberation Army open fired on the Magistrate of Justice, Jackson Ridge, during his speech in the heart of Colerica's capital, Zachara.

MagJust Ridge was rushed to the local hospital and is currently listed in critical condition. In Ridge's speech, he was condeming the attacks by the GLA when a small jeep approached the scene. Two gun opened fired on the stage, and struck Ridge four times. Two of Ridge's bodyguards were killed during the attack.

Security police mixed in with forces from the Imperial Royal Gaurd pursued the attackers and detained them after a brief firefight. One of the terrorists was wounded during the fight, but is expected to survive his injury.

Magistrate of War, Xevven Jericho, had this to say. "These cowardly acts of terror must end immediatly. The Colerican Empire will not tolerate the actions of the Global Liberation Army. This is a prime example on why Colerica needs other nations to join us in our quest to get rid of the GLA."

Emperor Thra hasn't released a statement yet, but we are assured by his advisors that Colerica will not allow such attacks to continue.

When asked about the whole Global Liberation Army situation, Five-Star General Azben Koren only said, "The terrorists will go down. It's not a matter of if, anymore. It's when."

Colerica Imperial News has just been informed that the Magistrate of War, Jackson Ridge, has died of his gunshot injuries suffered at the hands of Global Liberation Army terrorists.

Magistrate of the State, Kressi Thra, (the Emperor's younger sister), was able to be reached for a brief comment, "We [Colerica] have suffered a great loss today to the terrorist faction of the Global Liberation Army. They seek to destroy our government and terrorize our people. We will not stand by and let them do this. They choose to bring war to our government. The Colerican government will bring war to them. The Global Liberation Army has signed its death warrent with the assassination of Magistrate of War Jackson Ridge. We assure you."

The Emperor is expected to address the Empire soon.

To my fellow Colericans, nations, and the world in general,

The United Empire of Colerica has suffered a harsh blow today. A blow dealt to us by the rogue terrorist faction known as the Global Liberation Army. The GLA has struck hard with the assassination of the United Empire of Colerica's Magistrate of War, Jackson Ridge.

The United Empire of Colerica will not stand and wait for another terrorist attack to occur. The GLA chooses to bring war to our government. Our government will bring war to them. They will have no where to run and no where to hide. Colerica hopes that it does not stand alone on this issue. No nation should tolerate the deliberate murder of public officials by foreign terrorists.

The name the "Global Liberation Army" is decieving. The men are not part of an army. They do not follow any military protocal. They are trained, cold-blooded killers. They murder indiscriminantly, with no regards to innocent civillians. While a regular military targets opposing militaries, these terrorists attack innocents.

Civillians cannot defend themselves from such savage murderers. The GLA has a track record of infamous killings, car bombings, assassinations, and even detonating "dirty" nuclear weapons. These people do not deserve to live. If the Global Liberation Army had the audacity to use nuclear weapons in the past, what stops them from doing so now?

Nations of the world, Colerica calls upon your aid. It is time to end the threat of these killers. The GLA is not just dependant on attacking the Colerican Empire. They will strike against any authority they don't agree with. These terrorist-anarchists must be stopped, once and for all. We must end their existance before they can strike us or any other government again.

Fellow nations, think about the loss my Empire has suffered today. It may not matter much to you, but just remember that Jackson Ridge was but a mere man, like you and me. Like all men, he had goals. He had vision. He had a life worth living. Now, these terrorists have shattered his goals, blinded his vision, and ended his life. It is time that we end their's.

The Global Liberation Army is operating out of my country. If they are attacked then i feel it is an attack on my country. I demand you stop. The branche of the GLA that did this is known as the edmonton branch. This is an internal affair and will be delt so.

Colerica Imperial News has been informed that two more GLA terrorists were detained in our capital city, Zachara. They are expected to be sent along with the men who assassinated MagJust Jackson Ridge to Isle Majo. From there, the assassins of Ridge are to be executed for their crimes.

OOC: This noob, (yes, I'm calling someone else a noob), isn't going to follow up on anykind of RP are they? Blast....I think I'll just pretend Nazi Fox doesn't exist. I'm using my powers bestowed to me by the rules of the game to ignore nations, and I choose to officially ignore that country. To me, it doesn't exist. Never has, never will...Hopefully, I'll have a chance for some decent RP with some other nation....

Colerica Imperial News Update: The GLA terrorist who was wounded in the firefight with Colerica forces following the assassination of Magistrate of War, Jackson Ridge, has been found dead in his prison cell. The man committed suicide by hanging himself with his clothes. He was only minutes from being transferred to Isle Majo.
