The Empire of NouvelleTerre is setting up it's own Foreign Legion. I am sending out invitations to the countries of the World to send a Maximum of 1000 Men. The Salary of these soldiers will be a fixed number of 30,000 US Dollars a Year, A "Tax" will be placed on the Battalions of 50%, the tax will then be givin to the Home Country of these soldiers.

In Plain English.

for sending 1000 People to serve in the NouvelleTerrian Foreign Legion You Get:

1000 x 15,000 = 15,000,000 US Dollars.

Also im Hoping to fill a Corps Strength unit (45,000) with these Volunteers.

I guess I haven't stated about equipment and training. All Training and Equipment is paid for by the NouvelleTerrian Military at No cost to the Nation in question. The Foreign Legion is pleased to welcome their frist recruits.

485 men from Empire of Haukka have volonteered for join to NouvelleTerre's Foreign legion they are 19-32-year-old and they all have basic military training of Empire of Haukka.

The Empire welcome the new recruits from Haukka, We're not just accepting trained soldiers into the Foreign Legion. We are accepting able men from all walks of life into the Legion.

Well military training of one year in Empire of Haukka is compulsory unless you want to spend three years in civil service (few want).

Luke, let us make a deal.

I will send you 1000 men, all of them former civilians. Those I will send you are criminals, rebels, and other rather unsavoury individuals. What I propose is that I give you these men for nothing, they can have around half of the promised wages, as most are from the dirt poor of my country. The catch for you is that these men will serve for terms of 10 years per 1000. After their tour of duty, I want them to be resocialized for further military service in their own country. You need not pay the 1/2 tax for the government. Merely take these sociopaths, criminals and insurgents, resocialize them, and return them to my country after their ten-year term for your military. As well, all equipment will be provided by my government. All I ask is for them to be resocialized, the funds for which my government will pay for, we just dont want them in our country. If you are interested, we can make deals for up to 3000 men per ten years, equipment and funding provided, for whom (in this deal only), you need pay only ten grand a year.

A thousand of the Elvarin as well will volunteer from the 5th regiment, all trained from a young age, although i request that they be led by their own officer, Lord Colonel Arethas The Blind, and that they may be withdrawn should war erupt in our empire.

The Point of the Foreign Legion is for foreigners to fight, unconditionally in the service of NouvelleTerre. Your stipulations I'm sorry to say are unacceptable, but 1000 Citizins can volunteer from any walk of life. (doesn't have to be soldiers, and don't have to be trained for combat.) All you need to do is have 1000 People Volunteer for the Legion and you can add 15,000,000 US Dollars to your GNP (Gross National Product).

So I ask for All Nations to Volunteer Able Men and Women for the NouvelleTerre Foreign Legion.

What is the extent that these Foreign Legion soldiers are trained and equipped?

Could you give us a standard equipment list and training procedure schedule?

As Leader of my Nation, I find it best to not get totally involved in the way the military is trained so I do not know the Specifics to training of these personnel, however I can say that I watch a military exercise of the Legion and I can say for myself that they were among the most skilled soldiers I've ever seen.
As for equipment each soldier is issued an AK-111 Assault Rifle, Knife, Walther P99 Pistol, 1 Stick Grenade, Sergeants are issued an MP5A2 Sub-Machine Gun as well and 1 Soldier in 2 is issued a LAW Rocket however all Soldiers recieve training in using the equipment.

Roycelandia has it's own Foreign Legion, but we have some veterans of the African Conflict that would be interested in joining your Foreign Legion provided they can return home to Roycelandia with Nouvelle Terran citizenship and an honourable discharge after a 5 year Tour of Duty...

Yes, the NouvelleTerrian Foreign Legion has a 5 Year Tour of Duty, The Legionnaires are given Citizenship and an Honourable Discharge. The Legion would be Helped with Veteran Volunteers as yours are, also now we have a reserve of hard Currency to afford to pay the Trip home.

In that case, the entire 54th Jungle Combat division (all 1000 men and women), having recently returned from fighting Communist Guerrillas in Southern Africa and faced with the prospect of demobilisation, have volunteered to join the Nouvelle Terran Foreign Legion.

How long will you be needing these men???...their families have not heard from them since they departed for your lands...1 RL = 1 NS Yr. = NS 23 yrs. Most of them will be in their 40's and be of Veteran/Elite Status...Correct...Did they incur any losses??...If you no longer require their services i wish to repatriate them back home...I Intend to take the money they have earned and put all 927 Million into a retirement fund for them....Please repond at earliest

Vertoben Lufftewaffe, of the 2,688 Troops who volunteered for the Foreign Legion, 2,341 are still in service. Another 1,373 are Wounded and have been flown back to your country, and sadly the Rest are either known to have been Killed or are Missing. Veteran Benefits from the NouvelleTerrian Military Service Pension is already being sent to their Families and Loved ones.

I send you greetings from the CFES. The issue of a war in your nation has worried our people and the senate. This civil war has threatened and even caused untold damage to Commonwealth interests in NouvelleTerre.

The senate considered allowing the sending of volunteers to join the Legion. The senators, however, decided to participate in a more active role in defending our interests. Seeing that the armed conflict has presented a very dim military situation for NouvelleTerre, sending volunteers will not be a very wise and inadequate decision.

The deployment of three infantry divisions, an airborne, and an armored division that will comprise the initial expedtionary force has been approved by the senate and is already underway.

If the civil war situation hasn't been lifted after five days, starting today, the order to launch attacks on several targeted rebel bases and military concentrations will be given. Additional combat task-forces will be deployed if the circumstance calls for it.

I stress and reiterate that this is an act in defense of our interests and we hope that this action will not be viewed as any other than that.

We wish you good fortunes that conditions in NouvelleTerre will improve and that our proposed action will no longer be necessary.
