My fellow nations,
Yesterday, the United Empire of Colerica was astonished to uncover a terrorist plot to assassinate me, Maderic Thra. In a stunning chain of events, royal guards captured an assassin, who called himself “Rache.” Upon interrogation, the assassin revealed that he was hired by a terrorist faction, but refused to give a name. His actions were to be part of a plotted coup against the Empire of my fair nation. Thankfully, his plans were thwarted.
Afterward, the Colerican government issued a statement regarding the plotted assassination attempt on my life. We asked all other nations if they knew of any involvement by a nation or terrorist faction in the attempted coup de’ tat. With dismal success at first, the Empire frantically sent out our Colerica Imperial Intelligence Agency to comb all possible outlets for intelligence that could give us answers.
Meanwhile, the Dictatorship of Nazi Fox presented us with a small bit of information. They stated that their intelligence had uncovered plans by a rogue terrorist organization, known as the Global Liberation Army, to assassinate a world leader and follow through with overthrowing the government.
Colerican intelligence soon verified that claim. The CIIA searched through records of the GLA, finding out their entire whereabouts since their creation. The GLA is a widespread terrorist organization, bent on dismantling regimes that it does not agree with. The United Empire of Colerica is one of these regimes.
This morning, after failing to draw any more intelligence from the assassin, the Empire of Colerica executed “Rache” for his crimes. Hours later, the government security forces received a tip that a terrorist cell was operating in our capital city of Zachara. A combination of security police and military personnel took to the scene. Our forces detained all forty terrorists involved in a cell of the Global Liberation Army.
After questioning several of their members, including a leader calling himself Grayson, we leaked the news of the arrests to our press. That is when we first issued our statements to the world about containing and eliminating the Global Liberation Army
Colerica stands firmly behind our statements of today. We call upon the world to aid us in bringing down the GLA. We must eradicate this vile enemy before they cause any further damage to our world. Colerica requests that all nations, knowing to have GLA terrorists with in their borders, detain the terrorists. They are enemies of freedom. They despise all forms of government. Help us put an end to these terrorist anarchists.
As many of you already are aware of, the USSPS Madrid was sabotaged. The motive for the attack and the group that orchestrated the attack remain to be seen. However, we have uncovered new information that, if verified by the United States of Spain and Portugal, could confirm that the Global Liberation Army was responsible for the damages inflicted to the USSPS Madrid. DNA samples from all forty terrorists detained and a sample from “Rache” have been sent to the USSP for comparison tests.
It is imperative that nations of the world join together and oust the GLA. The Global Liberation Army cannot be allowed to commit more terrorist attacks.
While the United Empire of Colerica is a new and small nation, we are prepared to use any force necessary in seeking out these terrorists and preventing them from accomplishing their evil deeds.
