OOC: Imagines airship under a hail of AA fire and falling to the ground in a spectacular explosion. :)

OOC:Consider a 120mm artillery round has lets say a 3000m range now fire it from 5000feet in the air.
You could increase your artilleries range far beyound any ground based AA fire.
If they designed some Missiles/Bombs with a decent glide factor it could out range any ground based SAM system.
CB warfare delivery.
BAttle field Recon.
Naval air support.
Water and Air Based Carriers.
Sure the thing is delicate but would dramtically increase the reach of your military. At least thats the way it seems to me.
Any way, it is fun.
