"This week, Major General Naruto replaced Jinou Gesno as Prime Minister. The election shocked the nation, as the General has never been in the political scene. More at 11."

A reporter says to one of his colleagues, "I hope Naruto can do better than Gesno did. Gesno was to weak, don't you think?" His colleague replied, "I don't think we have to worry about weakness with Maj. Gen. Naruto."

How many parties are participating and what are their programs?

There is the Socialist Party of Doujin, there is an environemntal group(which is always changing its name), then there is the Democratic Party. Political Party donations and advertising is restricted. Maj. General Naruto ran as an independant, but rumors are spreading that he is tied into a rogue militia organization that believes in Imperialism.

The PRC will support the socialists, by any means the party leadership seems appropriate!
