i'd like 1,000 guns for my special ops. $300,000 wired to anyone who gets me some.
Sniper rifles do not cost $30 apiece. Heck, I don't even think AK-47s are that cheap.
Edit: And I don't think $300 ones will buy sniper rifles of high quality either ;P

The price varies greatly. New boxed models from china are about 800$ used ones on the angolan border are available for about 12 bucks.
