OOC: Im hoping for a good RP here, as the forums have been lacking gd ones for me tio get involved in :(. Any way, any WarGames will include about 2 Army Corps (8 Divisions in my Army) with aircraft and some naval forces, exact numbers can be determined when i see the responce to this thread. I.E How big nations that reply are. Im hoping to start it on Monday 15th or tuesday the 16th of december and they should be over by the 22nd depending on post frequency and forums screwin up. This is a purely OOC thread to see how many nations are interested the actual wargame will be done on another thread.
Tech wise, i probably wont allow Lasers and Spaceships but most modern or future modern tech will probably be allowed.

dont matter that much. Havnt got any set figures atm, we will work them out when weve got sides and stuff fixed.

Same.. A bit less for me actually, im just testing out my new weapons. If they are good the whole army receives an overhaul, if not, well, then they dont.

I would love to join. This seems a good way to test the mettle of my military. I'm on about twice a day. I don't have stats up yet, but I will locate them :wink:

My highest level of technology is the near-perfected stealth technology. I have some things in the works, but I am unclear about whther or not super weapons are allowed.

I was thinking like we all get roughly equal military forces and use them. It will be like a simulated invasion of a nation (probably me) with allies helping in the field. A 3v3 with 2 nations acting as peacekeepers trying to stop the fighting (and probably failing).

Any thoughts anyone?? Im very open to suggestions as im not the most imaginative of people.

We will be using a kind of laser system to track who has been hit and wounded etc. during the battle/s i have the specs and info about it on my other pc hopefully ill post it up later this evening.

OOC: Are you on a coast. Because i am a naval nation and would like to head the naval invasion if you don't mind. I base my countrys militgary on Britain. I have am making a storng navy and a strong special forces (for both of those britain has the best in the world.)

I could be involved with naval forces on whatever side of the conflict you wish. I can commit how ever many ships is in proportion to everyone else, to keep things fair as well, if you are interested.

It's PDE engines, UCAVs, computer controlled stealth systems, and a heavily modified B-52 that uses an airborne laser like the USAF is testing, the YAL-1A. And the "caterpillar drive" from Hunt For The Red October.

I use a couple of Gauss/Railgun weapons. However, I keep them within perfectly realistic limits. And actually, there has been a Gauss pistol developed by a Russian guy, so the technology is barely even near-future tech.

Well, whether it's in accordance depends on what it is.

Guns that can shoot around corners, which can see via LCD screen.

Personal cloak (MAkes user invisible to naked eye) for 5 second bursts, which need to be recharged an hour after use. (Army)

and Med-Sealer, a laser which can be used to seal any superficial flesh wound in the field. (Army, Navy, Air)

This, on top of the stealth tech.

The most tech advanced thing I possess are :

They are all in Platoons of 36, or 'Army Groups' of 5,000.
Each 36 man platoon has 4 FN Minimi's and 4 M136 AT Missile Launchers.
Every Platoon has one Stinger Anti Air Missile Launcher and one Javelin Anti Tank Missile Launcher.
Every other soldier other than the ones carrying the Minimi's is carrying an AK-111 ( http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=103981&highlight= ). Each individual soldier carries a Bergen (smaller ones for the heavily equipped troops) that include 4 days rations, a Sleeping Bag, camo netting, a small gas fire and some spare ammo.

Well we are both defense so we arent going to be fighting each other.

So are we on the coast or not. Because I really want to test a new invasion plan I came up with last night.

The southern part of the USIH is coastal yes, with some parts of the east also boardered by coasts. The games will be happening in the Southern area of my nation because that area is largely uninhabited.

Excellent. I am having trouble getting on to the forums from 9GMT onwards for some reason, but i will be on all of tomorrow ready for the battle. By the way who wants to start the other thread??

I work full time, but will be on at least once a day for troop movements, responses, etc. I'll join in tomorrow when it suits the situation.

I am at school and have 5 hours a day to waste. Hell, for 5 hours I could have a running battle with someone.....*coughKaazakhstaancough*
