"A State of Emergency has been declared in Coltlandia this evening after Dutch Elm Island Rebels attacked and destroyed a Nuclear Power Plant on 5 Kilometre Island. At least 100 Coltonian Soldiers were killed in the attack, although this is speculation on the part of the Authorities as no-one can get anywhere near the island.
The Rebels, armed with automatic weapons and RPGs, escorted all civillian personnel from the area and forced them into Barges bound for the mainland before detonating explosives, which have rendered the entire area a wasteland.
Nuclear Incident Technicians from Roycelandia have already arrived and are on their way to the site now, although reports that a Roycelandian
C-47 was spotted in the skies over Dutch Elm Island have yet to be confirmed. Indeed, the governments of both Roycelandia and Coltonia have refused to comment on any military action that may be taken against the Rebels.
In other news, riots in the cities of Walker and Peacemaker have intensified as news from outlying islands dries up. Rumours that Rebel Forces are assassinating Government Officials in an effort to establish an independent republic are rife, and Authorities have stepped in with a campaign of arrests.
5 people were deported to Devil's Island for Being Scum, and Regional Leaders are holding a summit later this week to decide on a course of action.
