We would be prepared to handle the rebuilding of Exetonia's labs. Please provide information on how many and what kind.
- Andreas Von Weiser, Minister for International Affairs
Dear sir/Madam:
The Exetonia Science labs were originaly built into the now non-existant Truro mountain. The new site will be just west of Penzance and above ground. It should be a pproximately 12 stories high with 6 basement levels. It deals primarily in Uranium research for Civilain reasons only, cloning and, the advancement of medical science. There are several other plans proposed. All we require the succesful contractor to do is to build the structure and elevator, power, plumbing and computer systems. The rest, will be handled by our team. Are you still interested.
Yours, Exetonian Coallition Government.

OOC: Shall I post exactly what kind of stuff I'm going to use to rebuild the labs here, or are you planning on setting up another thread for that?
OOC: Do you not have an international airport anymore? And what do you want done space control center-wise?
ooc: post what yopur doing in here. I have a temporary airfield for emegrgencies and, i would like the space center to be like Huston USA, minus the launch platform as i have my own variety of those.

After assesing the air field we have found this:
Massive holes in the runways; supplies to mix more concreate are being flown in.
Control Tower decimated; Prefabricated Mikosolf brand tower being brought in in deconstructed form (its pretty much a standart tower, just prebuild, like legos!)
Terminals and boarding areas are destabilized, but salvagable. Bringing in prefabricated walls, steel, more concrete, and supports for the existing structure.
We are also sending 8,000 workers, more may be sent as the construction merits. We hope your temporary airport will allow landing of millitary grade cargo planes.

Can we repair the oil pipelines, Elias Petroleum is on of the largest oil companies in the world and had great expertise in oil infrastructure.
Conisder the Reparition of National monuments mine :) Just give me the plans.
There was a knock on the door to Tai Pyro's office.
"Come in."
The man who walked in was about 6 foot with full military parade uniform.
"Sir!"
"Yes"
"I might have found a job for our army engineers."
"Really, and what what this be?"
"Exetonia are offering contracts on building work..."
The major was interupted by Tai
"You know we only do military engineering."
"Yes thats why I was thinking of doing the two ports and the naval dock yard"
"Ok... if we get confirmation on this you have my word to prep the men and get them out there. Oh, Inquire about what they want it built with. Remember the last job we did for another country."
All offers accepted. Here are the particulars ladies and gentlemen. (ooc: please post what you do and when in here.)
The ports will require, 4 dry dock facilities and 12 docking bays. Also, enough buildings to house customs and excise, several multinational companies and naval HQ. is that ok.
The national monuments are to be people holding the Exetonian flag pole outside the palace, a symbol of the efforts of the people (a broken gun with a person standing on it) and, a monument depicting the Exetonian Great Bear.
Elias, yes you may reapir the oil pipelines.
Thank you ladies and gents for helping the Exetonian Community get back on its feet - Exetonian Coallition government.

"This is KZ-3 Conquerer requesting permision to land."
"This is KZ-4 Expansion requesting permision to land."
"This is KZ-5 Fortune requesting permision to land."
"You all have permission to land, you will be met by some of our workers on the tarmac."
"Thank you"
"Roger That"
"Thanks"
The planes diped below the sky line and turned in for there runways. The planes all touched down on different runways at the same time. In the first two men in blue military engineer overalls jogged out the back. They ran over to the last two and started unloading the equipment and materials. Once they where away the planes flew back to Kazaakisthan only to return an hour later full of more supplys and vehicles.
The reparition of services = reaparition of water pipes, electricity, phone lines and sattelite communications equipment. Also, communication i.e roads and railways.

After assessing the situation on the ground, horticulture engineers from Lost Hills have determined that the pre-planting process will take 1 year, the planting process will take 2 years, and the growing process will take 25 years.
We have begun the pre-planting process. Small brush fires have been started to clear out all the waste littering the floors.
We look forward to working with you.
TRhank you lost hills. Our horticulturalists are at your disposal. They have agreed with your findings.
The helicopters landed in the middle of a two lane road at the construction location for the new Space Command Center. The contractors and scientists got out and began discussing plans for buildings, training facilities, and computer centers.
It was decided that the mainframe computer center would be stored underground, in a deep sub-basement of the center itself. That way, if there was ever another situation that made it necessary for a new command center, the computers would not be damaged.
The computers will be able to do 10^13 computations per second, and will have the memory capacity greater than every PC in the country combined. Multiple CPUs will be connected, allowing more than 65,000 gigabytes of memory capacity.
The crews will arrive soon to work on the ground excavation and earth removal.

After some discussion, a government committee established to organise the reconstruction of the Exetonian Science Labs has produced a preliminary plan, reproduced below.
Dimensions:
Planning has proceeded on the assumption of the labs being built in a roughly rectangular shape, 200 by 400 metres, with 5 metres between floor and ceiling on each level. Please advise as to whether this is acceptable.
Structure:
The lab is to be built from a combination, of steel, concrete, and high-tech polymers, as appropriate; as noted above, it is assumed that the building will be roughly rectangular.
Elevators:
Personel elevators will be placed at regular intervals throughout the building, covering all 18 floors (unless some are to be restricted for security reasons, in which case these plans may be amended). In addition, we plan to install two larger freight elevators for the transport of larger items or equipment.
Power:
The facility is to be powered by a single small fusion reactor, to be placed in a secure area below the rest of the building. This will allow the lab to be completely self-sufficient as regards power, requiring only a small amount of hydrogen to fuel the reactor.
Plumbing:
Not much to say here, except that there will be a number of different pipe networks to carry water, gas, sewage, and anything else that requires pipes to be transported around the building. The facility will have it's own water treatment and sewage plants located nearby, to enhance self-sufficiency.
Computers:
The computer network will be a fairly common one among Centralis research facilities; quite similar in capacity to the network to be installed by Cav in the Space Centre, it will have a central mainframe in a secure area for memory storage and computation, and uplink nodes in every room to provide access (with the exception of such things as toilets and so on, for obvious reasons). The network will come with a standard software package and some others which will likely be useful given the lab's functions.
The plans meet with exetonia approval with the following changes asked:
1: Power should be through nuclear reactor rather than fusion. Our scientists would rather stay within our current technology level and the Exetonian Science commisionhas no intentions of working with fusion reactors in the near future due to maintainance costs.
That is all. The Exetonian Coallition Government again reiterates it's thanks to all parties invloved and points out the contracts that are still avaliable.

If the Exetonian government would prefer to work with fission rather than fusion, we will change our plans accordingly. However, this will also require the installation of a system for disposing of the waste products produced; we can add that to the plans if you wish, or let you deal with it when you fill the building out.
A build in of the waste handling center would be appreciated. We can increase the budget by up to 25% if needs be.
Multiple CPUs will be connected, allowing more than 65,000 gigabytes of memory capacity.
ooc: someone likes the new 64 bit chip :P
OOC: Only the best for you.
Your palace is almost completely done. All we still need to do is the finishing touches. We added an extra room to the back. It is a weapons room. We supplied you with 500 Desert Eagles and 100 H&K G36e's. We hope this room will make the palace feel a bit safer.

We here at Mikosolf are happy to announce that our rebuilding of the airports is now at 40% completion, we allready have two of the runways up aswell as the control tower.
We expect finished product in 3/4th of a year (for this time line about 3 RL days).

A build in of the waste handling center would be appreciated. We can increase the budget by up to 25% if needs be.
Very well, that shall be included as well; we will require an 18% increase in the budget. We can also connect the waste handling facility to the uranium research centre, if you wish, to allow your scientists to make use of the waste.
In any case, with most issues resolved, construction of the outside of the labs has begun. We expect completion of the framework within three months, after which we can install floors and walls.
Attention all rebuilding members:
We will have excess soil and dirt from our excavation of the ground of the construction site for the space center. If any nations need it, we can provide it (so you don't have to ship it in or anything).
Cav we would reqire this soil as we have noticed a few problems (see)
Power:
Our alternative energys specialists have laid plans to set up a small island 347 m off your coast to house three windmills. We also have plans to use a set of 'rocks' these 'rocks' absorb the energy from the water when it is smashed against them. Then aorund this we have wave collectors. These will all be fed to the two facilitys. Any extra power will be sent to your national power grid.
Systems:
We can either have all control systems manually operated or for an increas of 13% install a computer powered automation sytem. This will power the cranes by a system of tags on all corners of freight boxs. Also they can be controlled remotely with cameras around the boom.
Buildings:
All buildings will be built out of a special block made out of resin. WHen water hits this bock it absorbs the water, making it stronger. It is quite expensive and will need a budge increas of 2%. See The next section for why it should be used.
Current Report:
As our frist men walked onto the two sites it was obvious the had both been bombed in the war. We have managed to salvage some specialist tools that where not damaged. Our water specialists also noticed that the area around here could easily flood. For this reason we are going to use boulders and rocks from the coast and soil from Cavs excavation to make various defences. We will supply you (free of charge) 10'000 sandless sandbags. (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2370503#2370503) These are the latest in Kazaakisthan engineering
Cav we would reqire this soil as we have noticed a few problems (see)
Very well. We will load up the dump trucks and send the dirt to you.
----multi post, appologies---
The construction was going as planned. The foundation had been laid, and the basement structure had been completed recently. The crews were now working on the wiring and other computer necessities before doing anything else.
The smaller buildings that would surround the complex were staked, and some had their cement put down already. There would be elevators in each building to the basement level, but the buildings further away from the center would have corridors and moving walkways leading to the central computer network and other basement facilities.
