It was the dead of night outside the Naorian city of Murushima, where seventeen men waited. They all held rifles, except for their leader, who had a sidearm and katana.

They stood outside a military compound, surrounded by a barbed wire fence. They stood atop a hill, and saw a series of trucks moving slowly through the main gate. They waited...

On another hill, overlooking the military complex, eight more men waited. Six had RPG launchers, distributed one for every two of the men.

The other two men stood ready with their rifles.

One of the men in uniform flashed a torch to the men across on the other hill. The rockets went off, two aimed at the main barracks, the other at several barrels of fuel deposited by what appeared to be the base's storage depot.

OOC: Naori will decide damage to the facility.

IC: The seventeen guerrillas shuffled down the hill, shooting at the incoming trucks. One driver had a bullet put through his head, while the rest suffered similar fates. Those who were not killed immediately were pulled out of their vehicles and shot execution-style. The guerrillas not fighting looted the trucks, stealing what ammunition and supplies they could.

From within the base, Naorian soldiers were scrambling to counter-attack the rebels. They were pinned down by three more rockets fired from the hill, and morter fire from some greater distance.

One guerrilla running from the battle was shot in the lower back, and he stumbled and dropped the ammunition he was carrying. The other guerrillas looked back, but they knew they would be shot if they went back for him.

Across the hill, the heavy weapons team withdrew into the bush...

Losses: 12 Naorian soldiers were killed in the attack, and 32 were wounded. A few others are still missing under the rubble of the barracks and cafateria that were demolished.

In the interrogation room...

Niwagaki took out a red-hot poker, and jabbed it into the rebels bullet wound. "Who gave you the rockets? Was it the Genyans? Was it Kit Phat? Tell me!" The rebel screamed as Nawagaki mademultiple burns on the rebels back. "You will burn in hell for this. I am mearly preparing you for the eternal torment you will soon feel!"
The rebel was about to have his testicles and penis removed when he talked. He told about the Galdanian funding, the Galdanian soldiers, and the location of the rebel base. Niwagaki put down his 'tools', and untied the prisoner. He gave him a pat on the back, which hurt his back even more. The rebel collapsed on the floor. Niwagaki said calmly: 'Thank you for your help. You are free to leave. I will not kill you." The rebel llooked happy. He stood up and left the room. Outside, the guards pumped him full of lead. Niwagaki laughed. 'I never lie. I didn't kill him...They did! Hahahahaha!'

News of the attack leaked over the world, and the Galdanian government gives their response:

"We are glad to see that guerrilla action is being taken by the NRA against the government of Naori and the nation's military. So long as they do not harm or target civilians, they will be regarded by Galdania not as terrorists, but as freedom fighters."

The Dominion and Principalities of Eredron first wishes to send its sincerest condolensces to the families and friends of those Naorian soldiers killed today by the hands of the terrorists.

Second, Eredron wishes to make clear its position on these matters. With the recent bombing of the Eredronian embassy in Naori and the attack upon a civilian merchant ship destined for an Eredron port, military, economic and other retaliations will be made against those organizations and nations responsible, both directly and indirectly, for past and future attacks upon Eredron interests.

Eredron is committed to peace in our times, but will not allow her citizens, soldiers and allies to be massacred by terrorist groups.
