Dressed in a dark suit, with a White Shirt and blue tie, Executor Edmund Dantes took the Podium, in front of him are his Secretaries and Aides. The Prompter begins..:
"Tersanctans, and the World, I come before you today for the reason, of Apology. I am apologizing to Melkor Unchained for the "Surgical Strike" (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=70419&highlight=) Operation, which took place Ten Years ago, under the Authority of the Former Executor, Samir Duran."
"It is not enough to merely state that it was another persons fault, and let it go at that, indeed all we Tersanctans, Especially me, inherit our mistakes from the Fathers that came before us, and it is our past, good and bad, that must be drug up and forced into the light. But make no mistake, I condemn what was done, I condemn the descision made by him, and in no way does the current Administration approve of any of this."
"Jay Reaven, we exchanged harsh words, and for my response I am sorry, You had every right to accuse me, while I had no place to say even one word to you. As I said earlier it is not enough to simply say somebody else was responsible, the question arises.'What are you going to do about it?' So therefore I am offering an olive branch of peace, and saying I am going to something about it. The mistakes we as a nation make, we must pay for."
"So Melkor I am offering the chance for full Reperations involved in the colonies destruction. Anything related to its rebuilding we shall finance, as well as offer our own workers to assist in its rebuilding, and will open college scholarships to any of those families involved."
"It is my sincere hope that I can lead our two nations down the path of peace, rather than one of a downward spiral, in which neither of us can benefit from."
With that transmission ends, and Edmund gets off the camera, and standing there off too the side, is Samir Duran himself. Which Edmund approaches."Well Ive done all I can, is your family ready to go?" asked Edmund, reffering to Samir's Elven Wife and three children.
"Yes, Edmund, they will be fine until this blows over. Gods, I was expecting a response years ago. And now,...." Samir shook his head fearing the worst for his Children, and his beloved wife.
