From President Melatov,

Today,After a daring move to gain independece...We have broke off from the massive nation of Malatose.We are a small island...located 100 miles off the coast of Malatose.The reason we decided to declare independe was because we were tired of the communist rule.We wanted free democratic elections and the rights to choose our leaders.We fear harsh retaliation from Malatose...even a possible invasion.As a former General in the Malatose Red Army...I know its every strength..and its a very powerful military.We ask for free weapons...aid and even possibly protection from other nations.We await your reply.

**To President Melatov**

We condemn your recent announcement of Independence from the mainland of Malatose.We however will look for diplomatic ways to bring you back into the nation of Malatose but if all fails...you will be brought back into the Communist Republics by force.

The Commonwealth of Valient supports your independence. Communism has been eridicated in our Commonwealth, and we are more than ready to help you in your struggle. Please respond with what sort of aid you will be needing. We are not against sending out military forces to help.
