Announcer: In today’s headlines, President Smith hires a new Secretary of Defense, and Quanda continues a march towards war.
Carl Carlson was fired yesterday after Smith accused him of making significant errors in a botched operation that was not authorized by the President himself. RFF has not released any details about the attack, called a tragic mistake by Smith, and has not released any public calls.
President Smith has decided to hire renowned liberal David Azro, who has called for peace and caution in the situation with RFF.

Inside RFF itself, 5 commandos of Gold Team were successfully extracted. Details of this operation have not been released for obvious reasons, but President Smith and David Azro have announced that they have no intention to send additional to commandos into RFF.
However, the Quandan Parliament continued to ask RFF to agree to a peace deal that would involve surrendering weapons of mass destruction, and the stoppage of torturing against suspected terrorist suspects.
In addition, the NWTS pact will conclude its vote tonight when deciding on the issue of military action against RFF.

Presidential address
President: Quanda is now on pushed onto the world stage. We can no longer had the fact that there are rogue states that have no regard for international law, torture agents of other nations who arrived peacefully, are bases of operations for terrorist groups, terrorize there own people, and possess weapons of mass destruction with which they can hold the world hostage.
It falls to the NWTS pact to defend the world, and defend ourselves. We have suffered an act of terror, and we truly know how horrible it can be.
Imagine such a strike with the Ebola virus that RFF recovered. Casualties would be immense.
So, the NWTS is preparing for war against the state of RFF. We will authorize military action officially tonight, and we will, of course, give ample time for RFF to comply with our demands.
Our demands are as follows:
RFF must desist its practice of torture.
RFF must surrender all WMDs
RFF must also allow itself subject to inspections by special operation forces to make sure the above two are complied with.
Rest assured, if the NWTS pact does invade, we may suffer extreme casualties. If this despot has weapons of mass destruction, he will certainly use them on our invading soldiers.
Rest assured, if he does this, he will be killed.
We have nuclear powers of our own on our side, with powerful bombers that are invisible to radar, such as the B-2.
We may lose some troops, a sad event. However, RFF will lose its entire army including many cities and civilians in the event of chemical/biological/nuclear war.
Quanda will persevere, and we will win.

I have dispatched many troops to guard my boarders, multipal Abrams, and many F-16s. I will not give in and you will not prevail. I have 6 other nations behind me.

The NWTS pact has affirmed that RFF must comply with demands set forth the Republic of Quanda.
They are detailed as such:
Official surrender of all Weapons of Mass Destruction
Official agreement to desist the practice of torture.
Compensation to all nations that had agents abducted and abused at RFF's hand.
The NWTS Pact may be somewhat small...but we pack a punch.

In addition, Quanda calls all nations that love liberty to join us in this crusade against a cruel dictator.

As of now, we are open to negotiations with RFF. War is always the last solution.

OOC: Sorry, Net was down in my house...this is a public place I am posting from, and I may not be able to participate over the illustrious winter break.

IC: RFF has yet to enter into negotiations with the Republic of Quanda. Therefore, Quanda and Birmania are entering into a joint mission that will involve the moving of 100 Quandan commandos to move into RFF as observers.
We call upon RFF to not become involved in stopping this peaceful operation.

Also, the Quandan fleet is now setting sail. 5 RO/RO ships carrying 5,000 infantry equipped with armor that can deflect light rifle rounds and shrapnel, Ak-47s, and hand grenades as well as 500 Flatbed trucks.
Another 5 RO/RO ships are carrying just 2,000 additional flatbeds to create a fully functional military.
10 Supply ships are accompaying them.

These ships are setting sail for the Island of Ocukltawa(sp?) in order to install a peaceful regime. We hope to work together with RFF on this peaceful mission.

At SAC HQ in Fate AFB,
Gen. Adams: Prepare the 1st TSOU and contact Adm. McAruhter.
At BNC HQ in Vice City Naval Base
Adm.McAruhter: Deploy the 2nd fleet.

A lone B-2 takes off from SAC HQ carrying one TNGB-21 with it are 50 muti-purpose aircraft. A fleet with landing ships leave VCNB. All heading to RFF to remove it's WMD.

OOC: I'm only attacking because I don't trust the current government with WMD.

OOC:You didn't even PM me dude. My nation got the WMDs while attacking a terrorist base (They were found). They are awaiting destruction.

IC:
The F-15Es cruised along at altitudes of 30,000 feet, awaiting final orders. THe pilots relaxed and stretched muscles, awaiting the first sign of RFF's intention to shoot them down.
RADIO: Roger, Roger, Victory flight 007, 008, 009, go forth on striking rebel targets. Authentication X-Ray.
Knight Squadron, over. Convoy of flatbed trucks under attack by RFF tank platoon at cooridinates 44-57-36. Eliminate all hostiles.

The F-15Es quickly flew down to less than 300 feet off the ground, making them all but invisible to RFF radar and airdefenses.
Within an hour, rebel targets across Ocklawa were destroyed. Hundreds were killed, and centers of operations were eliminated, severly hampering the rebels chances to make war with peacekeeping and rebuilding forces.
Knight Squadron zoomed in on the scene of the battle. Many flatbeds were now little more than discarded hulks, annihilated by M1A1 fire. Needless to say, at least the RFF crews had wasted sabot ammo attacking light targets!
The F-15Es flew over the RFF lines. 20mm rounds loaded between a mix of incidary and armor piercing rounds poured into RFF lines with no avail. However, the Eagles's 2,000 lb pounds left their wings, annihilitaing much of the tank column.
The 10 F-15Es prepared to fly home.

Meanwhile, In RFF:
A C-130 carrying 60 commandos as an observer force touched down in the capital city. The commandos unloaded, and immiedatley went to the first government building to request an open base of operations.
The Birmanian C-130 lifted off and set course for Birmania, a bit north of Quanda.

QNN broadcast:
Announcer: We now continue with full coverage on the story in Ocklawa. As we all now know, a platoon of RFF tanks opened fire on a convoy of unarmed flatbed trucks. Out of the 30 trucks present in the convoy, 26 were destroyed.
This just in, President Smith is preparing to adress the country:

President: My fellow Quandans. Last night, the forces of RFF attacked a peaceful, unarmed convoy of Flatbed trucks that were carrying supplies to our peacekeepers in Ocklawa.
In retaliation, Quandan strike aircraft, which were already air borne, switched targets to destroy the offending tanks.
Although we had the capability to seriously damage RFF operations in Ocklawa, we did not, as Quanda's goal is still peace. We chose a limited defense to a limited agression.
Rest assured, Quanda shall defend herself abroad as she does at home, and the NWTS Pact will help us, her ally.
With this, I ask RFF to enter negotiations with Quanda, to try to solve this problem.

Ocklawa:
A company of poorly trained infantry thrusted into the rural village, firing from the hip as they went.
They quickly dashed into buildings, and killed anyone they though would resist them. Dynamite was planted, and all 300 of the villagers that Quanda alleged was an RFF sympathizer, were killed.

Elsewhere:
Commandos of Gold Team snuck into positions in Ocklawas two major city's, one of them being a port. They had little training elsewhere, but silently dispatched RFF troops and police forces using silenced MP-5s. The commandos took out their laser designators, and painted troop concentrations and government buildings, as well as any oppurtinity targets such as tanks or supply depots they could see.
50 F-16s and 20 A-7s, guided by an E-3 100 miles away, rose to high altitudes of 30,000 and unloaded their smart bombs, and prepared to unload their huge smart bombs to hamper RFFs ability to govern Ocklawa and force it to the peace table.

In the countryside, 300 Quandan infantry ambushed an RFF supply convoy. Milan missiles and AK-47 fire poured from Quandan lines into the RFF convoy in an effort to stop a possible RFF blitzkrieg.
