OOC: I have abandoned my last thread because too many n00bs wanted to send 10,000 troops without aksing our permission and were generally badly RPing, therefore before you get involved please get permission first. Background:

The President has been assasinated and the same a day an apartment block was bombed. It is now known that the terrorists are the Georgian Special Islamic Regiment part of the Special Islamic regiment (extremeist Chechen terroritd group) whose goal it is to make the caucasus muslim only. Meanwhile there are political problems because the new government lacks parliamentary control and other parties are trying to force new elections. The Georgian military consist of only 14,400 troops and a clolection of airceaft, ehlicopters and tanks although loyalty to the government is questionable.

This morning the motorcade of President SHEVARDNADZE was attacked with rocket proppelled grenades while travelling through the streets of Tblisi. Although the President has survived many attempts on his life, his luck ran out and although he survived the initial damage to his armour plated Mercedes, a massive crowd of demonstrators prevented ambulances from for reaching him in time, leading to his death.

Less than an hour later the leader of the Georgian Republican Party , David BERDZENISHVILI was sworn into office and his first action was to delcare a state of emergency. All military forces have been ordered to enforce a curfew and T-72 tanks now patrol the city.

Although no group has claimed responsibility for this crime, it seems that a number of groups could be responsible including islamic extremist groups, the Georgian United Communist Party or the United Front. This event also follows three days of constatnt demonstration against teh results of earlier elections and it is not known whether this is related.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry has advised that all foreigners leave the country and foreign diplomats either evacuate or remain in their embassies until the situation resolves itself.

Breaking News

It has been confirmed that thirty five minutes ago a loud explosion occured in the Western part of Downontown Tblisi near an apartment block that is believd to house senior military officials and intelligence personnel. Currently casualties are unknown although it is thought that only two were killed. However this will do little for he nation's stability which remains in question after today's assination of the head of state.
The new government has so far made no comment on the blast but it is beleived that most of the 14,000 (RL Figure) or so troops in the Georgian Army will be mobilised in the coming days.

Yesterday's terrorist attack and assasination were apparently the work of an islamic terror group known as the 'Georgian Special Islamic Regiment'.
Today a press release by the Ministry of Security stated that this group sent a written threat last night promising to firstly, 'eradicate all foreigners within Georgia' before 'cleansing the native infidels'. Intelligence sources belive that this group is a spin off the Chenchrn Special Islamic Regient that have penetrated the border to setup training ca,ps within Georgia's Northern mountains. The aim of theis group is to make the Caucasus Region, 'part of the Islamic Kingdom'.

In Tblisi today strict curfews are being relaxed although soldiers will continue to patrol alongisde police until the new government has stabilised. The leader of the Communist Party said today that, 'We could disagree more with the government and if our nation is under attack we should do something, this government will do nothing because it is getting weaker and weaker, only after fresh elections will we accept it.' .

We thank your nation for it's offer and although we have little need for a large expeditionary force, a small force of peacekeepers might be required to maintain order in the capital if the Georgian Army is required to operate in the northern frontiers.

North of Telavi, Eastern Georgia

The two Ural Trucks sped up the road, Flags flew from arials and the camo green made it obvious that they were army. They then pulled off the road which led further into the mountains and just fifty yards from a small collection of buildings, teh trucks stopped, and a total of thrity soldiers dismounted.

They then started running towards the house, their AK-74ifles at their shoulders. The troops then split into two teams each going for a different buidling and several minutes later they had cleared them, finding no one but evidence of terrorst activities. Plans, grenades, bomb making equipment, flgs and religous symbols.

Suddenly there was a massive explosion as remote deotnated charges shook the buidlings killing twenty of them instantly and setting fire to one of the trucks.

The remaning troops then call quickly for a medevac helicopter and roinforcements but it is clearly the terrorist cell had fled and had been tipped off about the raid.

The Empire of Roycelandia expresses its condolences and offers to send 500 Imperial Peacekeeps to your Nation to assist in any way they can.

We thank you for your support and we suggest you use Tblisi International Airport as this offers the best security and space, especially that most commercial traffic has ceased flying to Georgia. However we must ask that you tone down your deployment, specifically removing the T-90s as foreign Main Battle Tanks rolling down the streets of Tblisi is not exactly the image the government needs to remain in power and prevent panic.

Today the government of South Ossetia delcared its inention to form an independant Republic autonomous from Federal Georgia. Although not set to take place for several months it is expected to anger the politicans in Tblisi who are keen to have South Ossetia as a supporter since many terrorist insurgencies are said to be taking place along teh Chechen border. South Ossetia's Justice Department has made it clear though that it will crack down on terrorism but is bliames the Georgian govenrment for its shortage of funds and resources, apparently part of the reaosn complete autonomy is sought.

All was quite on the streets of western Tbilisi. It had been just over twelve hours since the terrorist activity and the Federation of Free Land Owners were finalising their statement which was to be delivered on Georgian state TV later that day. A brief statement was issued just hours after the assassination of the president of Georgia, in which the Federation of Free Land Owners expressed their condolences and explaining that they would inform the Georgians of their action in due course. The FOFLO (Federation of Free land Owners) embassy stood quietly in the cold streets, quite streets which were now almost devoid of life. Many people were scared to come out onto the streets, especially near possible target of terror.

It was now just after coming up 22.00 and a small group of reporters and a few brave members of the public had gathered outside the FOFLO embassy to receive Ambassador Turner’s statement. It wasn’t long before the tall, bald man emerged through the two large oak doors at the front of the embassy flanked by three security agents.

Clearing his throat the Ambassador began to speak. “Ladies and Gentlemen. On behalf of the Federation of Free Land Owners I must once again offer my condolences to the people of Georgia for the tragic events that have occurred today. The Federation of Free….”

The ambassadors speech was cut of by the sound of a single un-silenced sniper round being fired towards the ambassador. The high velocity round narrowly missed the crowd and ambassador and embedded itself in the stone wall just next to the oak door frame. Shortly after the first shot came a second and third one of which hit one of the security agents square in the forehead, killing him in an instance. The third shot would have killed the ambassador if he hadn’t of scrambled back inside the embassy building with the speed that he did.

Moments later several soldiers of the FOFLO emerged onto the street and roof brandishing the blue arm bands of the UN on their left arms. Their high velocity riffles almost desperately searching for the would be assassin. Then all of a sudden came a burst of semi automatic fire originating from a group of four soldiers searching one of the back streets. The shots had hit a man of Muslim orogin in the back of the legs as he was attempting to flee the scene carrying what appeared to be a riffle. The injured man was carried back inside the now locked doors of the embassy.

Minutes later the armed police force of Georgia arrived on the scene unaware of the FOFLO soldiers activities just moments before.

Just thirty minutes after the incident at the Federation of Free Land Owners embassy in Georgia a private communication was sent from the high Council member of the Federation to the Georgian government. It reads:

To President Berdzenishvili of Federal Georgia

I am sure you are aware of the incident at our embassy just minutes ago. As a result of the action we have called an emergency meeting at our central houses of government. After a swift and decisive meeting the council has elected to keep the embassy staff at the embassy and to send the 117th Drop Troopers to Georgia immediately. We request the use of a smaller military air port close to the capital from which we shall base our activities. The Federation of Free land owners will put its troops to use upon arrival as both peacekeepers to patrol the city and also to work in combination with your own forces in an attempt to stop the terrorists as soon as possible. The 117th includes a total of 100 personnel which includes logistics and pilots. The divison should arrive within seven hours provided you approve of the troops arrival.

The commotion outside the FOFLO embassy could be heard on the radio, and the small army convoy was already on its way, merely three blocks away.

In the lead Ural truck a Sergeant looked worried, the situation wa detiorating and it looked like things were going to get very bad, very quickly. Just then the radio came to life again, it was a police unit.

"Army Two Eight, sitiuation seems to be under control, suspect apparently has fled, so we'll keep watch for a bit."

"Roger."

Just great he though, so the sniper was loose on the streets. The driver nest to him slowed down and turned left heading back towards the parliament buidling. Just then he glimpsed something out of the corner of his eye, an RPG-7 heading straight for the truck, three muslim looking men standing on the street corner with the launcher. He barely had time to shout or scream, but he ducked as the projectile hit the passenger compartment, killing instantly five of the soldiers and blowng the truck on its side. Then the fuel tank detonated and sent shranel all over the road, ripping the font of the truvk behind.

Role: Scout and directly attack terrorist training camps or personnel in the Northern territories of Georgia, and preventing the infiltration of further guerillas from the North or the Southern Frointiers.


All foreign military forces will be based at Tbilisi International Airport that will be closed to nearly alll civilian traffic. Security at the base will be provided by Georgian Police and military.

OOC: If anybody feels like creating a nation by the name of Georgian Islamic Regiment or something along those lines they are welcome to RP the terrorists providing they are strictly realisitc and eventually accep defeat from vastly superior forces.

We understand your apprihention at having armed planes fly through your territory. We have but two requests.
One - Allow the Transport ships to enter your waters to drop off some of the troops.
Two - Allow helicopter Sortie's into Northern Georgia, and drop off Operatives. Also, if you want destruction of these camps, we suggest you allow the meager 6 planes to fly sorties over known Terrorist camps, keeping in mind that they will have been scouted before hand.

The SARTF forces will be split in two. One group will move to your land, and conduct campaigns from your cities into the northern territories. The other group will fly by helicopter deeper into the area. Is this resonable?

It was approximately 03.00 when the first of seven C-17 flew over the capital. The planes wiring jet engines disturbing the now peaceful city from its slumber. The jets began to land on a small military airfield just south of Kaspi. By 04.00 all seven planes had landed in the new FOFLO command base. Fortifications began immediately (I don’t mean like a castle) whilst a single C-17 made for the city.

Within moments the C-17 was flying over the roofs of Tiblisi. Minutes later the sky was filled with the parachutes of the 117th Drop Troopers. The 68 men began to patrol the city in small four man teams once on the ground.

After the deployment of of Federation troops in the early hours all seemed to have quitened down. When at 07.21 a running gun battle errupted in the down town streets of Tiblisi. Several peacekeeper troops from FOFLO opened fire on a pick-up truck carrying several armed militia men. One of the peace keepers was killed in the gun battle that also left several civilians wounded and three dead. The terrorist Vehicle was destroyed killing all occupants.

The Federation council is yet to deliver a statement in which exact figures will be released.

Just thirty minutes after the incident our reporters managed to get pictures of a small column of FOFLO UN marked lightly armoured vehicles making their way through the snowy streets towards Tiblisi.

Also this morning FOFLO SNS troops conducted a day light raid of a home on the outskirts of Tiblisi. A spokesman for the Special forces unit says the raid was a complete success. Several terrorits were killed and just over 100 weapons were conviscated, including several RPG's and even a heavy duty AA gun.

1) Why drop 10,000 Aks to your embassy? Concidering your embassy will only contain about 150 people in total of which only about 30 will be guards or soldiers.

3) You have to ask permission to arrive in someones country. Moving troops in without permission is an act of war. And in this situation you would be fighting Georgia and all of the other peackeeper nations.

4) Perhaps you could put some more effort into the writing of your bits. I mean just saying that is borring. Do what very one else has been doing. Make long and interesting posts not tiddley little things.

Breaking news!
Suicide bombers have attacked the Tiblisi state University just 20 minutes ago. It is said that the bombers packed a coach full of high explosives and drove it straight in to he University building. The death toll is unconfirmed but it is believed it will run into the hundreds, leaving several more hundred injured.

The coach is believed to have not been carrying any passengers at the time. Which leaves us asking the question. How did the allied troops fail to stop the coach as it sped across busy road outside of the university. Witnesses have said that no shots were fired at the bus which has all but been destroyed in the explosion, killing the driver instantly.

The explosion caught many students on their way home after a long days work in the University. The blast also caught several vehicles travelling down the main road. As yet no one has owned up to the attack or any of the other attacks this week.

Two - Allow helicopter Sortie's into Northern Georgia, and drop off Operatives. Also, if you want destruction of these camps, we suggest you allow the meager 6 planes to fly sorties over known Terrorist camps, keeping in mind that they will have been scouted before hand.

The SARTF forces will be split in two. One group will move to your land, and conduct campaigns from your cities into the northern territories. The other group will fly by helicopter deeper into the area. Is this resonable?

We will allow your transport ships to enter our waters, however we cannot concede to having forign fighter aircraft within Georgian airspace. Any air support taht is required for Operation Spearhead will be privded by a sqaudron of 18 Su-25KM fighetrs and Mi-24D Gunships if necessary.

Central Tblisi

Near Parliament Square the Communist Party had organsied a rally. Nearly two thousand were gathering ouside the Justice Ministry demanding the release of a senior communist that had been arrested a few montsh earlier. Although nearly a hundred soldiers were surroundign teh area, they were here mainly to provide security rather than obstruct the protest, after all it was a free country now.

Suddenly shots rang out as an Islamic fighter in the crowd opened fire on an a group of soldiers guarding a roadblock. Two fell and the rest jumped for cover before firing back on the crowd where the shots had come from.
In the volley of machiengun rounds five communist protesters were killed and the Idlamic fighter had already fled further away and fired off more hsots at other Georgian troops, before sneaking out from the crowd and disappearing

All around the wide street, soldiers had begun to take up firing pisitions and shot back indiscirmantely beleiving that the demonctartors had been responsible for the shooting.

A lone Islamic Fighter had managed to start a fight between the government and the communist party, a move which would seriously destabilise Georgia.

North East of Telavi, 10 miles from the Dagestan Border

They had taken off roughly an hour ago from Tblisi airport and were the first Elias forces to go out on patrol, now they scouted the area with thermal imagin cameras and the naked eye for terrorist camps and insurgents.

Suddenly the observer in the left seat catches sight of a pair of vehicles, old 4x4s, heading West along a fairly straight two lane road. He warns the pilot who quickly radios in.

"This is Black Night Two Zero to Red Dawn, we've spotted suspicious vehicles approxiamtely 4 miles South East of our current, permission to verify?"

"Roger Two Zero, cleared to verify and if necessary engage."

This is all they needs and the helicopter drops and banks towards they quarry, the spec ops men are alerted through their headsets that they may soon be needed.

As the helicopter approaches, it descends to less than 200ft off the ground and the magnifying imaging camera focuses on the jeeps. The men inside seem to look suspicious, and then he sees the Kalashinkov rifles beign carried in the back seat of the first vehcile. The pilot then swings thh helicopter saround until they are parrallel to the road.The

The Special forces then prapre for action, focusing the optical sights of their Tavor assault rifles on the lead 4x4. As the trucks close, a man leans out fo the windown to get a better look at the chopper but makes no hostile moves. When the trucks are merely fifty feet away, one of the spec ops guys, fires, as per the ROE, a three round burst into the engine block of the first vehcile, stopping it dead in its tracks. The second car over takes quickly before meeting the same fate. Both jeeps disabled, the chopper slows and descends to only a few feet above the ground and within seconds all of the six soldiers are running towards the suspected terrorrists with their guns shouldered.

Sergeant Steinberg, his eye looking down the sight, sees men dismount the vehcilce and firing off rounds with Tec-9s and Aks. He fires back killing two and hitting a third in the arm.

"Quick, flashbang!"

Someone isn the aquad then reaches for a flashbang and tosses it towards the cars, still a good forty feet away. The explosion stuns the enemies and the SRS men fire off more 5.56mm volleys killing three more.

The sergeant then gives a handsignal to stop firing and they rush towards the vehciles, switching to their Sig P226s screaming at the terroists to give up. Less than a minute later, four had been subdued and their six other comrades had been fatally shot.

They quickly loaded the prisoners into the main cabin, after syringing them with tranquilizers before they attached themselves to the outisde of the chopper again, for the short flight to Tblisi.

A dispatch is sent to the government in Federal Georgia from the Anhierarchi embassy present in the capital city.

We have elected to remain in Georgia, though we are arranging for flight tickets back to Anhierarch for a sizeable complement of our nonessential embassy staff. We would like to know if the statement that we should remain within our embassy compound is an advisory, as we would certainly need to procure foodstuffs.

Artitsa's own EA-24G helicopter hugged the terrain, heading towards Lata
along with its two KL-60 "Wasp" escorts. In the area was a suspected terrorist outpost/munitions dump, picked up on satellite, as this location was recieving alot of unwarrented traffic. 4 Minutes later they had reached the LZ, both KL-60's sweeping the LZ, but it was all clear. There was very little noise from all three helicopters, the sound dampening systems working like a charm. The EA-24G came down swiftly, tail first, giving the appearance that it was landing on its tail. As the graceful chopper touched down, the rear ramp dropped, and 16 fully armed troopers disgorged. They immediatly dropped down into combat positions around the LZ. 10 seconds later, the EA-24G rose up into the nightsky along with the two KL-60's. The SARTF broke into two teams and began their 1/2 mile trek.

10 Minutes later
Just over the Ridge lay the terrorist camp, small cooking fires peirced the dark, with several armed gaurds lounging around them. Skorzanski looked over his team. Each man wore their thermal googles, and carrier their AK-47 Bieta Spetsnaz close. He himself carrier a Bizon II, being a commanding officer had its perks. In 30 seconds he'd give the charge to attack. They would toss a few HE grenades at cluster points, then team two would pour fire into the campsite. Team one, his team, would then move in, neutrilizing any combatants, and taking any survivors - maybe. Skorzanski looked at his watch - it was time. "HE grenades, all the way." he whispered into his headset. He was immediatly met with teammates returning the call, launching their own into the center of the camp. The explosions marked phase two, in which the second team opened fire. In plain view he could see the terroists cut down easily, like stalks of wheat in harvest. He gave the order, his team popped up from behind the ridge, and silently advanced. There, to his right, a terrorist was emerging from a tent. He brought up his Bizon II and squeezed the trigger, the terrorist flying back, the three shot burst hitting him square in the chest. Skorzanski ordered his team to sweep the camp, he himself moved into the tent before him. He stalked silently in, but he could feel someones presense to his left. Someone was waiting for his entry, and he walked right into it. The man came at him with a combat knife, striking downwards. Skorzanski, reached up, grabbed the man's wrist and pulled him forward, striking the man's elbow with his other arm, snapping it. Skorzanski let him go, took two steps back and gave the man a round house to the face. He then pulled his own combat knife and finished the job. The rest of the tent was empty. He emerged to find his team intact and finished of their own searches. Before him lay 2 terrorists bloodied but alive on their knees. Skorzanski radioed for the pick up choppers.

Learning of the battle that was ensuing with the communist protestors, the FOFLO peacekeepers made for the scene. A single black hawk was air born within minutes of the fire fight beginning. The sleek helicopters flew towards the gunfight at a tremendous speed, remaining fairly low so as not to obstruct flight paths.

Minutes later the helicopter and its eight man cargo could see the trouble spot. Slowing the black hawk made a show of power by doing a single loop of the square. But to no avail. The show of presence the helicopter had scared no one of. Positioning itself so the left had gun man could see the entire crowd eth helicopter slowed to a hover. The gunman at the side door readied his FN-Mag. Then opened fire. The high calibre rounds tore into the crowd the protestors dropped like flies. The single heavy machine gun left few standing by the time the six soldiers had dropped to the ground. The gunner stopped his accurate firing to let the soldiers close in on the once vigorous crowd. No one was left uninjured, and most had received fatal injuries. To the shock and horror of the soldiers they found no weapons on any of the bodies, and no weapons on the ground nearby. The Georgians, and consequently the FOFLO troopers had mown down a whole crowd on unarmed civilians. Indeed a dark day.

120Km North of Tblisi:

The Four Ural trucks sped slowly along the up hilly roads that traversed the Southern Caucasus. Inside each of them, 14 soldiers of the 32nd Guards Airborne Division (Georgian) , the elite of the army. However the term 'division' was simply a relic of the Soviet era as the unit was down to only three rifle Battallions of about 500 men each,however they were still the best trained and best equipped in Georgia.

The trucks were now only four miles away from their objective, a suspected training camp, not far from the boerder. From a local source they would suppsedly easily outnumber the terrorists so hopefully an easy victory could be gained.

For Sergeant First Class Natatdze, this mission was nothing, war was nothing knew to him, in fact he had won the order of Lenin for his service in Afghanistan before the fall of the USSR when he was just 21.
As he sat in the passenger seat of the second truck he watched the sides of the road for guerillas.

Suddenly there was a flash infront of him, as the first truck exploded in a fireball, the way it toppled over seemingly thrown from underneath made it look like a mine strike.

"Stop!" He shouted at the driver, before jumping out of the vehicle and running towards the first Ural, some 40 metres away. When he was just a few metres infront of his truck, he heard a snap a s bullet struck the ground next to him, and he dived for cover behind a nearby rock.

"Quick get out, there are snipers, its an ambush!" His thoughts raced, would it be better to make a fast escape with the trucks? Then he realised the trucks would no doubt be disabled by the snipers.

His platoon was disembarking from the second truck as were the other men in the other two trucks. He glanced infront of him and realised that because the Lieutenant was likely dead, he was the Commander of the entire Platoon.

He heard a few more shots and several more rounds struck the ground. Just then a young Corporal ran out of the cover of the truck and dived behind the rock next o Sergeant Natatdze, "Sir, what do we do?"

"Get the other men to lay down covering fire while you and few other men follow me, we need to get over to teh first truck and check for survivors."

"Yes sir." The corporal dashes back over to the truck and relays the orders. A few seconds later a few men go prone and lean out of the cover firing off rounds from their PK machineguns in the general direction of the snipers while three privates prepare to run out to the left towars the Sergeant and the destroyed Ural.

The sergeant then leans out and fires off a few rounds with his relatively modern AK-105 assault rifle while the other men dash across to the first truck. Then a shot rang out, but it was closer although not close enough to be theirs, he turned around and saw a small group of guerillas firing at them from behind not a hundred yards away. Even before he managed to aim at them, four of his men were wounded and one probably fatally. Then he saw an RPG streak towards fthe fourth truck, slamming into the rear of it and killing four men taking cover behind it. Luckily the fuel tank did not ignite.

Then some more guerillas appear over a ridge, firing madly with their antiquated rifles. TO make matteers worse some smoke shells, no doubt launched by mortars start exploding above the cionvoy, limiting his visibility to nearly zero. Using teh cover of smoke he rolls back over to the cover of the second truck and calls for his radiomen.

"Quickly, get on the horn and call for air support, we need medevac choppers and gunships, now!"

He then runs back to the third truck and orders the men use their smalll stock of RPG-7s to keep the enemy at bay once the smoke cleared. He jsu hoped that they could last until helicopters arrived...

It turns out to be a modest, plain envelope, bulging slightly sealed with wax stamped into the shape of a star. There is no return address, of course, and the only markings on the envelope is a printed strip of paper glued to the envelope.

Upon opening the envelope, two items would fall out - a printed letter, and a small cellphone.

The letter reads, simply:

Greetings, comrade.

We have observed the situation in your country, and we may be sympathetic. To contact us, use the phone. Though encrypted, we advise you to say nothing sensitive over the phone.

The EA-24G Helicopter had taken off from Tblisi less than twenty minutes earlier and was flying relatively high, North Eastwards towards a suspected guerilla facility near the border. Its crew and twenty four Rangers were ready for combat.

In the cockpit the pilot, heard the call for air support through his headset then switched frequencies.

"Red Dawn, Black Night Four One, en route to target at Three Alpha Whiskey, request permission to divert to assist pinned down Georgian Troops?"

"...Black Night Four One, that is a Roger, cleared to divert, keep us informed."

"Roger Red Dawn, will do."

The pilot then changed course and alerted the crew chief, it would only be ten minutes before they were over the convoy.
In the cabin, Rangers manned the two miniguns and the .50 on the ramp was ready to use as soon as the ramp dropped.

Several Minutes later the helicopter started to descend and Lieutenant in charge of the Ranger Platoon, shouted above the noise of the rotors to the other Rangers who did not have headsets connected to the chopper’s intercom system.

“Okay Guys, lock and load, we’re going into a hostile area where a Georgian convoy is pinned down. We believe there are guerillas attacking on both sides and mortars in the surrounding area. Our plan is to make a few passes overhead, putting down suppressing fire and locating the enemy before we find a place to put down near the convoy. Then it is imperative to get out and find cover as quick as possible. Once the enemy has been eliminated or starts to retreat we will attempt to medevac the Georgian casualties while we secure the area and wait for another bird to extract us. Now be careful, there will be a lot of fire going around and we will be surrounded.”

Several small arms rounds struck the fuselage with unnerving pings as they bounced off , but causing no damage, the EA-24 was no only two hundred feet off the ground and flying towards the convoy. The two gunners then saw the rebel soldiers in their gun sights and the miniguns a=started to whir as hundreds of 7.62mm rounds sprayed out, forcing the guerillas into cover and no doubt killing a few.

The chopper was soon directly over the convoy, providing huge fire support to the troops below and keeping the enemy at bay. Suddenly the chopper swung quickly to the right as the pilot frantically maneuvered to avoid an RPG. The helicopter then made a sharp 180 degree turn as it made another pass, covering the trucks and mowing down terrorists.
The pilot then noticed a relatively flat bit of road just a hundred yards from the convoy and made a sharp descent, while the landing gear extended, just in time as the helicopter touched tarmac.

The crew chief quickly pulled a lever and the rear ramp dropped, as the Rangers, weapons at the ready streamed out, sprinting thirty to fifty feet then going prone. In less than a minute all three, eight man Tactical Teams had disembarked and set up a small defensive position making use of available cover.

Black Knight Four One then lifted back to the air, its guns still firing shot bursts and then it proceed to make circles over the area, just low enough to fire the miniguns but out of range of most of the enemy small arms.

Can we get involved?

Our nation would be the same as Azerbaijan and is a sort of military dictatorship based on Islamic Socialism. We are not particulaly aggresive towards Georgia but would covertly support the Islamic and communist militants even if they are contradictory for instability is what we are in favour of. The Western half of the nation is pretty lawless and although the government knows about terrorist training camps tehy turn a blind eye and some in the military are sympathetic. Howver we do not openly suppor them but neither do we crack down. Just think this external power might complicate it and make the RP more interestng and believable.

Obviously we would RP as a smaller nation that we are because effectivey the UAR is a collection of states rather than just one individual nation.
