I'll start. Whatever I say about you does not actually reflect on what your nation really is, as this is only a fake war.
"The president of Coreworlds has declared war on the nation of Cheese Co. for 'aggressive and evil actions against our soverign nation'! He has reported that the 1st Core Division (infantry) and 2nd Mechanized Regiment (tanks) has come under attack, and some elements have crossed the border! More reports to come as the war develops!" random CWNN reporter.

25,000 men and 200 tanks have crossed the border, as well as several wings of fighter jets and a wing of bombers.

Now it's your turn. Post losses, defend and then counterattack, but do not post my losses (saying 'I killed 200 of your men'). That is a no-no.

Two planes were downed by machine guns. but they pressed on, firing their missiles.
The army still received little resistance, and continued deeper into the nation. Some men were killed, but they were merely acceptable losses.

He ordered some men to go farther and recon. They drove up in a little jeep, and spied out the front lines. They saw...

OOC: What did they see?

*Major General Huston stood at the peak of a large rock holding a pair of fieldglasses to his eyes, he surveyed the area around him to make sure no ambush awaited his men. 4,000 Liberated American Irregulars stood at the ready to advance into the land of Cheese Co....An entire village lay burned at the hands of her soldiers. And now it was time for restitution.*

*The irregulars were armed with G36k Assualt Rifles, M249 SAW LMGs, SMAW Anti Tank weapons, 60mm Mortars, and 90mm Recoilless Rifles. Upon recieving the signal they slowly advanced into the jungles of Cheese Co. They were soon accompanied by 40 M2 Abrams MBT's, armed with discarding Sabot rounds, and 120mm M48 Canister Rounds*

Everyone chukled as the jeep exploded in firey inferno. The Camoflauged tanks and infantry waited a little bit longer and they sent 25 tanks to see what was going on...

They Special military S.W.A.T. team ( 10,000 of them ) awaited the arrival of the Liberated Americans. Colonel Johnson ordered the team over there ear peices "wait for it... wait for it... GO!!!!". The team began to fire with thier grenade launchers and assault rifles....

OOC: Back to the exploding jeep.

OOC: Wait a minute, Cheese Co. Who's Jeep? Mine? You will have to shoot at it with a tank round first, and then I say explodes.

Indeed, they could see that there were some 25 tanks moving, but what they didn't see until it was too late, was that the tanks could see them!

The tanks fired there rounds at the unsuspecting enemy. The The Infantry came behind the tanks firing there guns. and the humvees started fireing also...

then 2 M-Tiger jets came to take care of the air forces. " I don't know it's too easy... much too easy" said Major general Kinglef.

"huh?" the soldier who spoke asked, whe he heard a sound. Suddenly, a whistling sound can be heard.
"Oh sh--!" The last words of the soldiers, before a tank round blew them to pieces.

Meanwhile, back at HQ, reports of a small counterattack that started killing tanks and men reached the ears of the general.
"5th battalion offline sir...now a squad of our men!" the comms officer reported.
"Damn! Return fire! Get some Apaches up here!"
Yes Sir!"
The call went out. Four Apaches were called to the front lines and started shooting Hellifire missiles at the tanks and Humvees.

OOC: I need a little practice. I'm probably going to enter a war soon because my region is kind of unstable at the moment... mind if I join on the side of Cheese Co?

10 tanks exploded in a firey inferno. The M-Tigers Retaliated against the apaches and fires 2 missles. Back at The Hexagon (pentogon) Admiral Johnson waited for the call "Missle Bombardment ready for action"

IC: A battered Abrams tank came up over a small rise and trained its cannon downwards onto the scene below. Several pockets of CoreWorlds soldiers had engaged Cheese Co personnel in a bloody melee down where the natural foliage merged into a city. Several shells echoed down into the pandemonium and detonated. The first Abrams rolled forward, dragging up behind it two armored columns numbering up to 180 tanks. From the other side of the hill, bursts of assault rifle fire began to echo as 400 or so soldiers armed with ESMA 780 rifles, ASTAS 650 shotguns, and trinotoleune/thermite grenades came down the hills.

Bringing up the rear came an APC. Inside, Lieutenant Gregory Daniels overlooked a map of the small city and listened to the steady stream of affirmations coming over the radio.

With a groan, he picked up a communications link receiver. "Corporal, I want first regiment headed East up that main boulevard over there... as for the third regiment and second armoured, send them straight into the melee. Fifth armoured will bring up rear for cleanup. Over and out."

"Vampires inbound!" A helicopter pilot screamed before dying violently from a missile.
The other Apaches evaded, but the the missile was too fast, and blew up another Apache.
"Where the hell is our Air Support!" another pilot yelled.
"We're on it!" Two F-15s zoomed in, and launched a missile each at the M-Tigers.

Meanwhile, the cruise missiles sped through the sky, and fell upon the unsuspecting tanks. 10 were immediately destroyed, along with 100 men that were unprotected. another 5 were damaged, and had to be repaired.

Meanwhile, out on the open seas, three destroyers saw the missiles launch, and immediately retaliated upon the battleship with torpedoes.

OOC: Battleship is a good choice, as it is hard to kill one, even with torpedoes and missiles. Gulf of Cheddar... :lol: !

Several men were downed from flying shrapnel as they came across the hill and waded into the bloody melee, stepping over several corpses on the way. One of them happened to be of CoreWorlds, and reached out towards one soldiers, asking to be taken to a medical tent. He unholstered a pistol in his cargo pants and placed a round in his forehead out of mercy.

Corporal Jack Stevenson was receiving a steady stream of commands over his radio. He had always obeyed every command he had taken from the Lieutenant. He signaled and his team departed from the rush, headed up the boulevard. There were several overturned cars and patches of men exchanging gunfire.

"Alright! Listen up! Remember how we dicided into teams? I want team one, two, and three down this road with me. Teams three, four, and five will split up and head into the buildings. Anti-tanks, bring up the rear, snipers, next line. Understood? One, two, three! Follow me!"

The three teams scuttled through the street, shooting at windows where they expected enemy snipers to be stationed. After four downed men, they made their way behind a car and into an alleyway where several Cheese Co soldiers were stationed.

"Who's in charge here?"

"AHH!" Soldiers yelled, as they were chewed up by machine guns. Several other soldiers had RPGs and shot them at the tanks, while friendly tanks duked it out with the enemy. It was becoming a very bloody urban battle.

One Of the M-Tigers was completely obliterated. As for the other M-tiger it Exploded but the pilot got out in time. He scurried in a humvee.

Out on the Gulf the battleship had been hit the front of it had been blown off.it began to sink. " Alright we fired the missle" said the captian " Wait i hear something i think its a Uh Oh" the radio the signal broke up.

The tanks fired at the other tanks at full capacity and the infantry stormed the CoreWorldian tanks. A black widow jet came and fired at both of the F-15's.

Out in the outskirt battle of the urban territory, it had become a brutal skirmish. Most of the ASW soldiers had positioned themselves behinds natural barricades such as overturned logs, flaming and destroyed vehicles, broken concrete, etc.

Overhead, the cavalry could be heard. ASW prided itself as a nation intended to develop the largest aerial force in history. When the whirring of helicopter blades and the sound of jet engines from MiGs were heard, several faces looked up.

A MiG screamed overhead, releasing an incendiary weapon that dropped into the middle of the melee. The blended screaming of at least 30 men were heard. Several others came by and dropped their payload. Most of them hit buildings.

A few minutes later, the Apache choppers came overhead, shooting down a deadly rain of machine gun fire. In total so far, the losses were hard on the soldiers. 13 tanks, 31 infantry, and an Apache helicopter were gunned down.

Essentially, yes. And specify who you are talking too when you type Secret IC. E.g.

The Cheese Co Prime Minister contacted the ASW General and said "What is it" blah blah blah.

The machine gunners on top of the Bradleys and tanks sprayed deadly bullets at the incoming infantry, chewing them up. The friendly infantry charged at the enemy, and then it became a melee battle, with our soldiers carrying katanas for close quarters battles.

A few Harpoon missiles from a Cruiser slammed into the battleship and exploded.

One of the F-15s were downed, but the pilot got out. The other went in close, and started vulcan gunning the Black Widow, turning the dogfight into a knife fight.

All in all, it was a very intense little war.

Secret IC Archaic Slang Words : "Hello, watch out for the buildings some people didn't evacuate."

Several MiGs passed by and out of the combat zone, only to come up on one not too far out. Multiple F-15s were flying overhead dogfighting with some Black Widows and still hadn't picked up on the incoming MiGs.

"This is Alpha, come in, over."
"What is it, Alpha, over."
"Are those friendly configuration."
"Negative. Looks like we got us some action."
"YEEEEEEEEHAW!"

The seven MiGs broke up into a scatter formation and headed into the pack of fighters. The lead one targeted the first F-15 in sight and sent off a launch of two missiles at it's tail-wing.

"I'll see you in Hell you son of a b****!"

Corporal Daniels had gathered his teams and were progressing deep into the alleys they had uncovered. Gradually, they climbed up a fire escape one byone and ended up on the roof tops. They proceeded across the structures only to overcome an area where two detonated tanks were destroyed.

After back tracking for 15 minutes, they came back to the original combat zone on the other end of the enemy's lines.

"Grenades, men!"

A chorus of yessirs and the sound of pins being pulled were heard before an overture of explosions on the CoreWorlds soldiers below.

Out in the outskirt battle of the urban territory, it had become a brutal skirmish. Most of the ASW soldiers had positioned themselves behinds natural barricades such as overturned logs, flaming and destroyed vehicles, broken concrete, etc.

IC: It was actually forty men that died horribly. The choppers chewed up a lot more, about 60 more men, before somebody launched RPGs at the choppers. But the infantry continued on.
Meanwhile, 6 F-15s were called up to fight the MiGs, which were as good, if not better than them, but it's all coming down to pilot skill. One died from the missiles that an unseen MiG shot.

Five MiGs scattered in each direction. One clipped the wing of another and started to destabilize, but regained control.

"Alright everyone, I want Beta and Gamma on my tail in triangle formation."

One of the MiGs came up from the bottom end of the combat scene sending another pair of rockets at the fuselage of an F-15, and two other pairs went for the nose of an incoming fighter.

Dozens of tanks blew to bits when the SWAT teams (should be a little smaller, like 5,000-10,000, but feh...) attacked. This sudden change of tactics momentarily confused the general, giving more time for the enemy to destroy more vehicles.
"Damn them to hell!" he swore. "I want more units to attack them. Send in more Apaches!"
"Sir, the air's getting a little thick with--!"
"I don't want to hear excuses. Now go and carry out my orders!"
"Y-yes sir!"

A dozen more Apaches attacked the SWATs with machine guns and 2.75 inch rockets, making the ground run even redder with blood.

luetenant general monerey Jack Had enough. He talked to the swat team " Lets move ge tout of those humvees and get in to those tanks with injured men in them also FIGHT TO THE DEATH" The swat team manned the un manned tanks. In an alley Sargent "swissy" Dengoy found something horrible a child lieing dead on the ground "Who would do this"

Another F-15 destroyed by rockets, another family will receive the bad news. The second Fighter suddenly dove to avoid the MiGs, then came up fast in a slashing attack.
The soldiers on the ground pressed their attack, continuing to fire assault rifle bullets at the prone soldiers.

The president of the Armed Republic of Benevolent nations sat for his morning intelligence briefing.

"Good Afternoon Gentlmen," President Gerard Jones greeted his assembled generals and intelligence officers.
"Good Afternoon sir," they replied in unison
"What do we have happening in the world this morning?" Pres. Jones Asked.

The Seceratary of Intelligence handed the president a folder with several sheets of information including several recon photos of an embroiled warzone.

"Mr. President," Sec. Harris began, "These are photos from a war that has spilled over between The Core Worlds and Cheese Co. We're not sure what provoked the battle but The Core Worlds vastly out numbers Cheese Co."

"What do we know about the nations involved?"

"Both are Inoffensive Centrist democracies and have favorable endorcements from within their respective nations. However I don't see how Cheese Co.'s military can hope to defeat the Core Worlds in open combat." General Robert Vangelis reported. "However a third nation is becoming involved on the side of Cheese Co. They are using gurellia tactics and should have some success. Also we have reports that Cheese Co. has some 'secret weapon' though we don't know what it is."

Pres. Jones nodded gravely, "All right, I don't want two countries that seem to have similar ideals to be slaughtering each other. Have the state department send officials to both Cheese Co. and the Core Worlds. Offer the use of Benevolent Nations as neutral territory as a place to have moderated peace accords. Prepare our dipolmatic defense forces to accomendate them. In the mean time, I want satellite recon over the battle fields. Gather as much information as we can in case we need to send peace keeping troops into the area. If that's all you're all dismissed."

The assembled generals departed from the room and went to their assigned duties.

OOC: Consider this a request to join in as a third party neutral country trying to end the war.

S.W.A.T. Bodies flew up in the air one body hit one of the migs ( no damage done) But the SWAT had a few tricks up there sleeve half of the SWAT team started fireing at the apaches peircing some of thier gas tanks.

"We're losing gas, Jack!" A gunner said, looking at the fuel.
"Great. We got pierced tanks. All unit, fall---!"
He was cut off as the gas exploded from a spark, destroying the chopper. 2 other choppers fell to the same fate.

A MiG took a pair of rockets into its fuselage and spiraled out of the sky, leaving four MiGs left to engage the F-15s.

"Alpha to base, we need some backup out here. We're getting it hard and there's heavy flak up here."
"Expect reinforcements to arrive in 20 minutes. Over and out."

Two MiGs turned in on a downward angle at a lone F-15 flying out of the pack. Several rockets shot out and the two MiGs pulled out of the dive up into the air again, with the one on the left bursting into flame from another rocket.

*Deployed: 12 MiG fighters*

Several Commanches came overhead to where Corporal Daniels was pinned down. Two burst into flames from RPG rockets.

"Everybody get in," one of the pilots screamed out as they landed on the roof. About 50 soldiers piled into the remaining 10 helicopters.

Back on ground level, the tanks had begun a retreat back up the hill into the foliage, with the infantry pulling up behind them. Several soldiers had begun to follow them partway up the hill, leaving a trail of wasted shell cases and corpses. In total so far, the losses totalled 2 Commanches, 1 Apache, 27 Abrams, 65 infantry, and 4 MiGs.

Several more RPGs were launched at the Comanches, while the 3 remaining F-15s screamed for help. Reinforcements would come in the form of F-14s now, as no more F-15s weere willing to go (they will be shot soon :twisted: ).
On the ground, MRLS trucks began launching artillery rockets at the retreating tanks, and into the town itself, indiscriminately destroying buldings.

Meanwhile, the death toll (over 300) disgusts the people, and anti-war protesters started marching down Main Street of Core City, drawing police to arrest hundreds, fire tear gas, and use sticks to cow the people.

25 eurocopter tigers came and fired rockets at the comanches and F-15's 10 other eurocopters shot at the MLRS trucks.

Two more Commanches were downed, killing 14 men including the pilot and gunner. The remaining 8 and the 40 men inside made it over the hill with the retreating force of tanks and men.

Off in the air, 12 more MiGs came into where their friendly fighters were. They swung in low and released their explosives and swerved up again. One was struck down from a rocket by an MRLS. 11 MiGs swerved up into the sky and released a barrage of rockets into the crowd. The original MiGs that remained sped off to refuel and reload.

Three new arrivals split the task at hand of taking down the three remaining F-15s. The other 8 turned downward and shot at the MRLS units on the ground and streaked their fire into crowds of infantry.

IC: The F-14 arrivals came into the combat too quickly for the MiGs to react in time, resulting in the downing of the leading fighter.

Two sped out of the combat zone and came back in again, releasing more fire into the now thickly coagulated skies over Cheese Co. Due to the coagulation, one of the MiGs crashed nose first into the side of another MiG resulting in a deafening mid-air explosion.

The major general who killed his CO, then ordered cruise missiles filled with fuel-air explosives (next best thing to nukes) to launch and target on civilian targets in Cheese Co. Businesses, homes, and even schools with kids still in them were targeted. The idea was to force to civilians see what the war is doing, and force the Cheezy nation to capitulate under our rule. oh, and :twisted: . When the missiles explode, they will induce nuclear-like effects on the cities, including a mushroom cloud, without radiation.

The worst has happened. A Peacekeeper nuclear missile has been launched at Core City where major demonstrations were being held. Once a satellite picked up the launch, and the news picked up the feed, people panicked. They ran to and fro, trying to get into shelter in time, but it was too late. The Peacemaker dived to an optimum height, and exploded.

Everything up to a mile away was incinerated: buildings, trees, men, women and children. Farther out, thought who looked into the flash were permanently blinded, and also had 3rd-degree burns, which would kill in minutes.
