From the headquarters of the new 'Peoples Communist Prespolis':
To the leaders of the world I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I know many of you have heard all kinds of rumors and stories about me and my party, The Prespolian Revolutionaires Party.
First, yes, I am a communist and am commited to spreading communism to the people of the world in order to liberate them from the oppression they all face. Secondly I will openly admit to you that I have very limited experience in the ways of government, and it is true that I have never held a position in any government, not even my student government. Despite all this, the people of Prespolis have chosen me to lead them away from the tyranny they have long faced, and toward a better tomorrow.
Now there are many things that are not true about myself and my goals for the future of my country. Number one amongst them is the rumor spread by members of opposing parties saying that the communist party hates kittens, and if put in power, they would begin oppressing kittens and interning them in kitten death camps. This is perhaps the single most insane example of outright lying seen in any campaign in any nation. I love kittens, and will in fact change the national animal of Prespolis from the bison, to the kitten, which will symbolize the rebirth of our nation into its new form.
On a more serious note I'd like to take some time to talk about my plans for the future. During the campaign many had suggested that myself and my leading opponent Mr Charles Verdi, work to form a government that brings together many people and viewpoints. I am excited to announce that this dream is going to be a reality! Mr. Verdi promises to work to bring about change to Prespolis and ensure its safety and ongoing involvement with the international community, even as I speak to you, he has made the bold move to go to the nation of Rotovia in their moment of need and offer them assistance in the form of moral, military and economic support. At this moment I'd like to give you a preview of two very ambitious goals that Mr. Verdi and I will officially announce upon his return from Rotovia. First a creation of an international alliance against the forces of terrorism and rogue nations, and secondly a domestic system of states that will allow the nation of Prespolis to be sure that the tyranny of the Reitan Regime will never return to our shores.
So after all this I simply say thank you for your support and I look forward to meeting all of you as we work together for a better world.
