In response to modernization efforts by Whittier, The United States of the South Pacific announces that Whittier's moves have sparked a new arms race between our two nations. Every time Whittier has made weapons acquisitions, they have always invaded or threatened someone.
Therefore, we respond to their provocation by purchasing 5,000 F117 Stealth Fighters for a total of 300 billion pacific dollars.
It will cost us 150 million to man these planes.
We intend to strive to be second to no one in this new arms race.
We intend to make further purchases in the coming days.

Our purchases are for self defense only. We have no imperialist intentions toward anyone.
But with this recent purchase by SP, we have no choice but to add more planes to our military arsenal.
You want an arms race, now you have one.
We have just spent 20.25 billion on 1500 new Blackhawk copters.
They will be used as troop transports and emergency evac vehicles.
3,000 F22 Raptors have been purchased at 240 billion.
We have also purchased 12 George W. Bush class Battleships for 24 billion pacific dollars.
We chose the George W Bush class of battleships for our navy because it has advanced radar, anti sat launch capability and best of all, it is produced only in the South Pacific, this means lots of jobs for South Pacificans.
We have now updated our navy by purchasing 30 Jemukoa class Aegis cruisers for a total of 30 billion.
We have also purchased 15 Warhawk class aircraft carriers for a total of 22.5 billion.
It will cost us 2.5 billion per year to maintain and keep them manned.
We announce the recent purchase of 6,000 M1A2s for 21 billion dollars. These will be produced domestically.
We have purchased 3 EZH-444MCA Electronic surveillance and C&C planes from the government of Geforce4 for 2.4 billion.
These planes will be made in Geforce4.
300 M1A2s have been given to Nazacal for purposes of selfdefense.

However I recall a time that SouthPacific backed a terrorist nation against a close ally of mine and Whittier supported our friends survival! I speak of Microbrits the terrorist who massacres tourists!
So SouthPacific is hardly a benevalent benifactor of mankind!
I don't care who wins the race neither have any reason to notice a nation such as mine.
