North Pacifica Regional Alliance

(OOC: We have a forum, or "parliament", at another site (ad-less, of course). If you are interested in joining - TG me. If you join without doing so, you will not be given acess to parliament, and will be ignored.)

The region of North Pacifica is a free-trade alliance and agreement. It has it's own parliament, wherein every nation resides with equal power. Proposals are presented before the parliament and are voted on by the members of the region. The proposal passes if it recieves a 2/3 majority vote.

North Pacifica is also a military alliance, wherein all members agree to the peaceable dealing of other nations within the boundaries of North Pacifica. Nations within the region are not contricted to the limits of the region for their alliances, and may seek such coalitions and treaties abroad, but the regional alliance is absolute and concrete.

It is through this alliance and agreement that the region will flourish, knowing that pre-emptive strikes will always recieve a healthy counter by the strong and valiant North Pacifica Regional Alliance.

Well, I'm considering joining your nation. I'm an rper, and enjoy being in things. Since I went inactive and my UN membership was screwed up, I've been trying to get back in again. At any rate, I'll think it over. The only thing keeping me back is the fact that I've lived in The East Pacific all through my NS life. Moving away will be a hard choice. Could you be a bit more specific? Is this a region or a website or a thread alliance or what?

It is a region. We have a small group right now - great bunch though. I am considering making a website for the region in due time, given we grow as large as we would hope, but as for now i have dedicated a forum to the region at my website's forums (http://dreamsforsale.net). It is a hidden forum that only North Pacifica members can view and post in.

We present proposals and such, as i mentioned in my initial post. We're no where near as specific as the UN when it comes to resolutions, though - only issues that concern international and inter-regional relations.

We are a fairly new region, but i am certain that with the group we have right now, we'll be a pretty powerful bunch in the near future. Our largest nation has over 1.5 billion citizens, and our smallest has 14 million. All nations in the NPRA are well-versed in politics and international relations.

We would be honored to have you in the NPRA. No system of government is disallowed or discouraged.
