ooc: okay here's the deal. I'm the situation generator and everybody else's job is to decide who my next character is going to be.
ic: Upon the death of Emperor Ren II, who ruled for over 200 years as an absolute ruler, the Imperial Holdings of Reniban have been plunged into civil war as the addicting taste of power is felt for the first time, not only among the royal family, but also among the senior minesters, who never before had anything more than a title. Without outside influence, Reniban could remain critically weakened indefinately. There are 7 main competors for the throne. they are: The royal twins Ren III and Racheal, 17, the youngest royal William, 15, the minester of foreign affairs Ender Wiggin, the minester of Reniban's largest city, (Renistad), Lindsay Hatch, the minester of colonial government, Chester Copper, and minester of intelligence, Chade Starfall.
Each faction has some distinguishing factor that causes it to differ from another. Ren III believe's that the eldest son should inherit the throne, whereas Racheal believes that the eldest daughter should have the throne. The youngest son, William, believes that the royal most adept at ruling should control the empire, no matter how old they are. Ender Wiggin thinks that the empire should be ruled by the most military adept person in the Empire, to further expand the Imperial Holdings. Lindsay Hatch believes that men are inferior and that the government should be controlled by the ranking female at the death of an emperor, not "some spiolt little brat of a royal who has never worked a day in their short lives." Chester Copper thinks only for the economy of Reniban. None of the other factions seems to care at all about the wealth of the nation, so he started one that did. Chade Starfall wishes not to have the throne as his forever, but rather to act as a steward of the throne, as he deems that the royal children are all too young and he would be "overjoyed when the day dawns that I deem the royal children at last ready to take up the heavy burden that I will be willing to carry until I deem them ready."
Each is calling nations to their banner, only one can be the Emperor.
