The empire of packilvania has taken this opportunity to seize two Astroid chains near the fringes of a Packilvanian colony. They will be turned over to the victorious regime afterwards. The chains contain mass deposists of uranium. Packilvania cannot allow development of nuclear based weapons for use in a civil war.

"The de Bergs have taken over most of the capital world, but Nustraat royalists still control a sizable portion of the space fleet and the worlds of New South Hispania and Kurushio Prime. The Scivariates have declared their support of the de Bergs, and Pinkett's Star has declared neutrality. Meanwhile, starships hailing from the Five Civilized Nations have entered the Cathedral system. The war seems to be heading for a standoff, until the DC Fleet returns from the war at Ribos."

The packilvanian Space Patrol has been sent to the fringes of Thunderstraats system to raid pirates. They seem to be everywhere these days. I will let this take its course, but the pirates are mine. <Looking for new techs.>

"The battle has grown extremely heated as New Jupiter declared their support for the de Berg cause and sent a sizable fleet. The Nustraats have responded with a vicious counterattack, and although Cathedral is totally under the control of the de Bergs, it is under siege. The 5CN and Packilvanian vessels have as yet to pick a side."

It was a cloudy day near Cathedral. De Burg forces were walking freely through the city. The clouds were suddenly gone and the sky started to glow. The Empire of Packilvania decided that it could no longer remain neutral in the growing conflict. Its frigates are busy raiding supply lines. As the sky turned a brighter blue, the troops could only stare up in horror. The Packilvanian battleship Trimp http://www.geocities.com/pack_rat85/battleship had snuck into high orbit around the planet and fired is main Particle Projectors. The damage is unknow at this time as the Trimp had to jump out of high orbit almost immediately. Packilvania cannot at this moment deliver troops, but will assist with our ships.

Packilvania was trying to help an old ally by clearing the city. We will back off if you want, but as you declared on me, the asteroid belts will remain in Packilvania's possesion. I do wish you luck in the suppression of the rebels.
