British Airforce HQ - october 1944, London, England 08:30hrs. Seior Staff Briefing room.
"Gentlemen, we stand atop of one of the greatest moments in our history, the Push into Germany. We have been requested by the PM to clear the way for our forces trying to push up the Rhone valley into Germany. There are countless artilery positions located in the valleys and each Squadron will be given their Targets and their flight plans at 09:00 hours. Is that clear Gentlemen?"
"Yes sir" came the reply from the gentlemen gathered in the room representing all of the squadrons. As they left the room, the commander turned to Flight Lieutenant Green
"Green, 633 Squadron has been given charge of clearing Delta Sector of all resistance as your the most experienced Lancaster pilots we got out in the field. Are your lads up for it?"
"Yes Sir, but, What if they don't return?"
"The Probability is high Green but, your men live for this. Remember, you can kill a crew but, a squadron never dies! Dismissed"
"Yes sir."
Green left the room and jumped into his jeep. He sped off at top speed for RAF Kent just outside of London (ooc: not their hme, i know), Stepping out of the vehicle he shouted "LADS, WE'VE GOT AN OP" to which came many cheers as the men scrambled into the briefing room. Green knew this was high risk but, was willing to pay the price for his country and he knew his men would feel the same...
(ooc: This RP is to be about the pilots of the 633 squadron on a daring missionin WWII that I have invented to produce an interesting scenarion. I will dictate what German positions there are and get a neutral RP'er in to rp them. I will be playing Flight lt Green.)
