Roycelandia

Dateline: Port Royal (Capital City of Roycelandia)
His Imperial Majesty Emperor Royce I of Roycelandia today unveiled some of the Imperial Guard's latest Security and Defence Equipment, after months of speculation by the Palm Islands Media.
First on the list was the shock announcement that, after the fortunate discovery of a viable Uranium deposit underneath a National Forest several months ago, the nation of Roycelandia had developed Atomic Weapons.
"I have established the Nuclear Obliteration Division to protect us from anyone who might invade" His Majesty announced at a Defence Conference this morning.
"Should any Enemies attempt to invade the Region (unlikely, but possible), we will rain Fiery Radioactive Death upon them, obliterating them in a Nuclear Inferno." he continued, brilliantly illustrating his point with a Multimedia Demonstration, including a video of the first Atomic Tests at the Glowing Sands Research Centre on Coral Island.
"There may be some slight side-effects of the Fallout kind, but this is a small price to pay for Regional Security!" His Majesty concluded, being greeted with thunderous applause by all present.
It is understood that the Roycelandia will be sharing the secrets of this technology under the terms of the Palm Islands Mutual Defence Treaty.
"We have a duty to our neighbours in this region to assist in its defence in anyway possible- including the supply of new military technology" said a spokesman for the Imperial Guard later that morning.
Information acquired from the Defence Bureau reveals that a "small number" of Atomic Weapons have been offered to both Coltlandia and EvaTech.
Other suprises this morning included the standardisation of the Imperial Armed Force's ammunition- henceforth, all rifles and machine guns in use by the Imperial Guard, Imperial Navy, and Imperial Air Force shall chamber .303 British cartridges, whilst handguns shall be chambered for .357 Magnum. All shotguns in use by the Imperial Armed Forces fire 12 gauge anyway, so no changes are necessary there.
Speculation is rife that Roycelandia's scientists have developed "Some pretty funky stuff" for the Imperial Armed Forces to implement, although no-one from the Defence Bureau was willing to comment at this time.
"You'll find out soon enough" was all the Commander Jack Sword of the Imperial Guard had to say on the matter.
Intriguing words from an intriguing Defence Bureau...
