RSS Firing System
FN’s Patented RSS (Repeatable Secure Striker) firing system takes a modern striker-fired system to a new level. It gives you all the advantages of a modern striker-fired handgun with several added benefits. Many striker systems on the market today are, in essence, single action. They need to be recocked in order to fire again. With the RSS, a shooter can "restrike" a round that misfires – much like a conventional double-action. The RSS is also safer. The striker is completely at rest until the trigger is pulled. There are no springs pulling the trigger in the firing direction. This at-rest position greatly reduces the risk of accidental discharge.
Extended Modular Rails
The extended modular slide rails on the Forty-Nine are longer than most polymer autoloaders. This distributes the friction over a greater bearing surface. The rails are also contained in a modular unit that can be replaced by a gunsmith when needed, extending the life of the pistol. On other popular models, once the rails are worn, it’s time to throw the gun away.

The newest of KSC's Glocks is without doubt the nicest of the bunch. The G19 features a smaller frame than the G17 or 34, and it is made of a dark grey resin/polymer which has a definite metallic feel to it. The slide is made of a similar material to the others though lacks the Glock trade marks of the older models. The markings on the frame describe this as a 'Mil Spec Standard' model. The hand grips also lack Glock markings, and the smaller mag (23, two less than the G17 mag) has a plain bottom cover. Note though that both 25 and 50 round Glock mags will fit the G19, good news indeed.

HALO class pistol in human or covenant style. Human style pistol is very good it has low recoil and good 2Xscope for sniping. 45mm bullets that pack a punch.
Energy Pistol: This weapon fires a stream of energy bolts, and can also be "overcharged" to produce a much larger blast. It is not automatic, and can overheat (requiring a cooldown period). It cannot be recharged, but it holds about 100 small shots or 8 fully charged bolts.
M6D Pistol: A small, slow-firing human pistol. When used in the game it has a long-range "scope" effect suitable for sniping. A pistol magazine is 12 shots; you can carry up to 20 spares (a total of 252 rounds).

The Kosch T4 tranquiliser gun fires a small dart containing a toxin from a 4 dart clip. The toxin within the dart interferes with the victim's nervous system, within seconds movement is extremely difficult and the muscle spasms prevent the victim from moving at any appreciable speed. Due to the Holtan convention regarding the use of toxins in war, the effect only lasts a few minutes. The highly lubricated firing mechanism makes this a quiet, stealthy weapon.

the uzi shoots a beautiful 550 - 650 9 m.m. per minute for a range of 200 meters. The uzi's magazine well is located in the grip assembly, that gives the gun more balance and makes it easier to change magazines. Another thing which helps to keep the uzi's balance is the L shape that I.M.I. offers. its a clip which attaches two magazines together. the weight reduces the muzzle clime.
the magazine holds 25 rounds and has holes to confirm that it is full. I.M.I. tried a 40 rounds but it caused feeding problems so they quit the idea. But they are working on a 32 round magazine.
The uzi comes with a baked enamel finish. Some don't like it because chips but that protects the metal.

All 7.62-mm Kalashnikov assault rifles fire in either semiautomatic or automatic mode and have an effective range of about 300 meters. At full cyclic rate, they can fire about 600 rounds per minute (upto 640 rounds per minute for the AKM), with a practical rate of about 100 rounds per minute fully automatic or 40 rounds per minute semiautomatic. Both the AK and AKM can mount a grenade launcher. Both can have passive image intensifier night sights. Both can function normally after total immersion in mud and water. The fully chromed barrel ensures effective operation even at very low temperatures. The muzzle of either weapon fits into the swiveling firing points of the BMP. Thus, the infantryman can fire the weapon while the vechicle is moving.

The Steyr AUG, due to it's bullpupped layout, has futuristic lines more resembling an alien death blaster than a rifle. Chambered in .223 NATO and carrying 20 rounds in a translucent plastic magazine, the AUG is the military issue assault rifle of several countries.
The Steyr AUG is, despite its unorthodox appearance, very representative of the assault rifle class of weapons. While lacking the power and accuracy of a large caliber rifle such as the .308, they offset that disadvantage with much higher rates of fire and large magazine capacities.

The 338 Lapua Magnum is not as well known as the 308 Winchester and the 50 BMG, but it fills an important niche between the two calibers. Firing a 250 gr. bullet at approximately 3,000 fps., it significantly outperforms the 308, while being much lighter, more compact, and softer than rifles traditionally chambered for the 50 BMG. This is a modular bolt-action system similar to the Ultima Ratio series.

http://www.sskindustries.com/images/tactical4_.jpg
The Remington 700 Sniper Rifle is a conventional bolt-action rifle chambered in .308, and equipped with a 4X magnification optical scope. This combination allows accurate shooting from extremely long range. It carries five rounds in an internal flush magazine which must be loaded singly. Experts can cycle a bolt-action rifle and have a second shot ready in less time than it takes for the target to hit the ground from the first shot. Unfortunately, you're no expert - like the rest of us, it takes you quite a bit longer. The sniper rifle has the lowest rate of fire of any of the firearms, including the Ithaca. That fact dictates how the rifle must be used. If you wade in toe to toe with someone, you're likely to be mowed down by their greater volume of firepower, unless you're an incredible wing shot from the hip. This weapon is intended for a wholly different role - staying well back, out of the action, and picking people off before they know what hit them. If you have a knack for finding hidey holes and sniper nests, and if you're good enough to pick someone off with the first shot, the life of a sniper may be for you.
The sniper rifle is chambered to fire .308 ammunition.

 #:Ithaca Stakeout Riot Shotgun $1500
http://www.unrealized.com/serpentine/gfx/ithaca.gif
The Ithaca Stakeout is a very short and handy 12-gauge shotgun, ideal for concealment beneath trenchcoats or stowed in other confined spaces. Packing 4 3" Magnum loads, it posesses brutal recoil, but offers unsurpassed takedown for it's size.
The Ithaca is your basic pump-action shotgun. It's most certainly not a delicate or finesseful weapon, but in close quarters it gets the job done like nothing else. At point-blank range, the buckshot has not yet spread significantly, resulting in one massive hole that tends to be instantly lethal. The further downrange you go, however, the wider the pattern becomes, and peripheral hits by one or two pellets do not do significant damage. The Ithaca is a bit slow to get into action - the phenominal recoil and the pump action together prevent a fast second shot, and the tube magazine must be reloaded one shell at a time. Still, if you're up close, a 12-gauge is hard to beat - it's quite possible to slay your foe before he even has a chance to retaliate.

M1 ABRAMS ARMAMENT
The main armament is the 120mm M256 smoothbore gun, developed by Rheinmetall GmbH of Germany. The 120mm gun fires the following ammunition: the M865 TPCSDS-T and M831 TP-T training rounds, the M8300 HEAT-MP-T and the M829 APFSDS-T which includes a depleted uranium penetrator. Textron Systems provides the Cadillac Gage gun turret drive stabilisation system.
The commander has a 12.7mm Browning M2 machine gun and the loader has a 7.62mm M240 machine gun. A 7.62mm M240 machine gun is also mounted coaxially on the right hand side of the main armament.
DEPLETED URANIUM ARMOUR
The M1A1 tank incorporates steel encased depleted uranium armour. Armour bulkheads separate the crew compartment from the fuel tanks. The top panels of the tank are designed to blow outwards in the event of penetration by a HEAT projectile. The tank is protected against nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) warfare.
One L8A1 six-barrelled smoke grenade discharger is fitted on each side of the turret. A smoke screen can also be laid by an engine operated system.
FIRE CONTROL AND OBSERVATION
The commander's station is equipped with six periscopes, providing 360 degree view. The Raytheon Commander's Independent Thermal Viewer (CITV) provides the commander with independent stabilised day and night vision with a 360 degree view, automatic sector scanning, automatic target cueing of the gunner's sight and back-up fire control.
The M1A2 Abrams tank has a two-axis Raytheon Gunner's Primary Sight- Line of Sight (GPS-LOS) which increases the first round hit probability by providing faster target acquisition and improved gun pointing. The Thermal Imaging System (TIS) has magnification x10 narrow field of view and x3 wide field of view. The thermal image is displayed in the eyepiece of the gunner's sight together with the range measurement from a laser rangefinder. The Northrop Grumman (formerly Litton) Laser Systems Eyesafe Laser Rangefinder (ELRF) has a range accuracy to within 10m and target discrimination of 20m. The gunner also has a Kollmorgen Model 939 auxiliary sight with magnification x8 and field of view 8 degrees.
The digital fire control computer is supplied by General Dynamics - Canada (formerly Computing Devices Canada). The fire control computer automatically calculates the fire control solution based on: lead angle measurement; bend of the gun measured by the muzzle reference system; velocity measurement from a wind sensor on the roof of the turret; data from a pendulum static cant sensor located at the centre of the turret roof. The operator manually inputs data on ammunition type, temperature, and barometric pressure.
The driver has either three observation periscopes or two periscopes on either side and a central image intensifying periscope for night vision. The periscopes provide 120 degrees field of view. The DRS Technologies Driver's Vision Enhancer (DVE), AN/VSS-5, is based on a 328 x 245 element uncooled infrared detector array, operating in the 7.5 to 13 micron waveband. A Raytheon Driver's Thermal Viewer, AN/VAS-3, is installed on the M1A2 Abrams tanks for Kuwait.
PROPULSION
The M1 is equipped with a Honeywell AGT 1500 gas turbine engine. The Allison X-1100-3B transmission provides four forward and two reverse gears. The US Army has selected Honeywell International Engines and Systems and General Electric to develop a new LV100-5 gas turbine engine for the M1A2. The new engine is lighter and smaller with rapid acceleration, quieter running and no visible exhaust.

Improved Bradley Acquisition Subsystem (IBAS)
The Improved Bradley Acquisition Subsystem (IBAS) provides a significant improvement over the Bradley Fighting Vehicle's current TOW 2 target acquisition and fire control subsystem. The upgraded Target Acquisition and Missile Control Subsystem consists of the Horizontal Technology Integration (HTI) Second Generation Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR), day television, direct-view optics, automatic dual target tracking, an eye-safe laser range finder and a two-axis stabilized head mirror.
The IBAS HTI Second Generation FLIR uses Standard Advanced Dewar Assembly (SADA) II technology. Together, the Bradley's eye-safe laser range finder and automatic dual-target tracker provide calculated on-the-move performance and accuracy for the 25mm gun.
With these advanced improvements, system capabilities make it possible to defeat the heaviest armored threat, as well as flying threats, such as helicopters. Increased survivability is gained with extended standoff ranges for target identification and engagement in the most volatile battle environment.

 #: M-8 mini tank 1 mill
http://www.m38a1.com/images/01brentb.jpg
A perfect tank for VIP escorts. Great for light infantry support. Small fast, durable, tough, MIGIT style
The FMC XM8 was designed to combine a tank's firepower with a highly mobile, air-droppable vehicle. AGS was intended to be the Army's new combat vehicle, but in the form of a highly deployable, light-weight vehicle, with high fire-power and reconfigurable armor protection. The AGS was intended to replace the M551A1 Sheridan in the 82nd Airborne Division, and was expected to replace TOW-equipped HMMWVs in the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment (Light). A total of 237 systems were planned for procurement. The cancellation of the M8 Armored Gun System left the US Army airborne forces dangerously low on firepower.
The M8 is the result of the Armored Gun System (AGS) concept that originated in the early 1980s to provide light forces with more powerful direct support. In 1980 the Army's 9th Infantry Division was selected as the test unit for the new High Technology Light Division (HTLD). The HTLD was designed to fight in the deserts of Southwest Asia. Critical pieces of equipment needed to realize the division concept were never available. The Army was only able to field prototypes of some key pieces of the high technology equipment. In other cases, such as the Armored Gun System (AGS), it could not even field prototypes. The AGS was never successfully developed. The substitutes did not provide the capabilities envisioned by the original concepts. These failures hamstrung the division's development.
The M8 resembles a conventional tank, but only requires a crew of three through the use of an autoloader. Its main armament is a 105mm Rheinmetall XM35 tank gun. The M-35 cannon is a low-recoil gun that allows the use of previously developed 105mm ammunition. The autoloader holds 21 projectiles with nine more stowed forward near the driver. Fire control is provided by a digital fire control system with microprocessors and a databus similar to that on the M1A2. The gunner's primary sight is a day/night thermal sight and integrated laser range-finder in a stabilized mount.
Its unique features include an autoloader for the main gun, a three-man crew. and the use of modular appliqué bolt-on armor that is not used in a load-bearing application. The armored gun system used titanium appliqué armor. The M8 can be fitted with three levels of protection:
Level I against splinters
Level II against armor piercing small arms and small cannon fire
Level III against cannon up to 30mm
In its base armor configuration, it can be low-velocity airdropped from a C-130 aircraft. The AGS was the Army's only armored vehicle specifically designed for delivery by air. As such, it is considerably lighter than traditional main battle tanks and, though well armed, it is not intended to fight other tanks alone. The AGS is capable of Low Velocity Air Drop (LVAD Parachute) or more conventional roll-on/roll-off delivery by airlift aircraft. A C-130 can carry one AGS, while the larger C-141, C-17, and C-5A can carry two, three, and five AGSs respectively.
The XM8 began development as the Close Combat Vehicle Light (CCVL) in 1983. After almost a decade of test and development the contract was awarded to FMC Corporation. The crew is protected by an aluminum hull with steel armor modules and power is provided by a Detroit Diesel 6V-921A 550 hp turbo-charged V-6 diesel engine and a General Electric HMPT-500-3EC hydro-mechanical transmission. Additional armament consists of a 7.62 coaxially-mounted machine gun and a .50 caliber M2 antiaircraft machine gun.
In 1993 survivability test assessments were initiated the Armored Gun System. Early live fire tests for this program either demonstrated that the initial AGS design meets its requirements or provided data to support design fixes. One design feature that resulted in a 'surprise' outcome was the ammunition compartment feature that failed to contain the reaction of the ammunition when struck by realistic threat weapons.
The AGS is not a tank -- it may look like a tank, but it's not a tank. It's a thin-skinned vehicle with a gun on it. The vehicle was designed to support the infantry from a position where it can fire and be behind dirt with an elevated gun and to fight in areas where its not going to run into tanks. It has more than one role, and it just doesn't kill tanks. It kills other kinds of targets. It has to be able to bust bunkers, shoot into bunkers, go into urban areas and shoot into windows, and have a round that will spray shrapnel -- that will "take out" people who are firing hand-held weapons or machine guns. US forces using enhanced direct-fire weapons such as the Armored Gun System would fare better than forces equipped with current firepower.
The AGS chassis was also intended to serve as the platform for the hypervelocity line-of-sight antitank (LOSAT) missile system, and building the chassis for the LOSAT alone would be rather expensive.

The bergepanser (German: Bergepanzer Taurus) is crewed by four: driver, commander and two mechanics. It has a traversable jib-boom which can lift 20 tonnes (which includes a complete turret or power pack). It has a hydraulically operated dozer blade used either for clearing or as an anchor for heavy lifts. The vehicle has two winches: the main winch, a horizontal cable drum used for owing. The cable is 33 mm in width and 90 m long. In a straight pull it can move 35 tonnes and up to 70 tonnes with a guide pulley. There is a hydraulically driven automatic tension device which extends or rewinds the cable. There is also a hoisting winch, with a vertical drum, which is mounted on the right hand side of the crew compartment.
The vehicle also has a multitude of tools, both normal recovery and special, such as electric welding and cutting equipment, a chain saw and all the tackle necessary to lift and change the Leopard power pack, which can be carried on the ARV rear deck. There is one machine gun in the hull and a second mounted on the commander's hatch. The left side of the vehicle mounts six smoke projectors in two groups. They are in service with Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Norway.
The Modified Norwegian ARV (picture top right) has additional armour and 255 other modifications. It can be fitted with a quick-recovery device fitted to the dozer blade. This enables the crew of the bergepanser to recover a broken-down tank under full armored cover.

The Bridge layer (Original German designation: Biber, meaning a beaver) used a unique laying system, it lays horizontally, never presenting a large, obvious target while laying as do most scissor bridges.
The bridge is light alloy and is 11.65m long when retracted. When laying the entire mechanism never raises higher than 4m (the Chieftain AVLB is 12.2m). There is considerable flexibility during emplacement as well, the Biber can lay when there is a difference in elevation between ends of 5m down and 2.5m up. The bridge spans up to 25m (it is 26m long, but nead at least 50cm on each side) and can handle vehicles up to 70 tonnes. Norway is the only country with the heavy Leopard 2 that has bridges with this wide span.
Laying consists of the vehicle bracing itself with it's blade then the lower section of bridge slides out and the upper drops down and locks on the lower (now the forward). The whole assembly is then pushed forward on a cantilever boom until emplaced.

The vehicle has improved bilge pumps, making it capable to work under water at a depth of 2.25 m, with the commander sitting on top of a snorkel placed on his cuppola. From there he can remote control the dozer blade.
The crew has larger periscopes than other Leopard versions, giving the crew larger view area making them capable to work with armor protection. The vehicle has a two man crew and is equipped with a dozer blade and an boom mounted evacuator. is is capable of moving 170cu.m of soil per hour each. The boom also have a pull strength of 15 tonnes and a push strength of 10 tonnes. The boom can elevate to 60 degrees and can move horizontally through 180 degrees. The boom and dozer blade can both be operated simultaneously by the operator.

The Artemis 30 was developed during the 1980's in Hellas, to protect all branches of the Armed Forces from medium and low level attack aircraft. The system is based around the 30 mm cannon and it's advanced targeting system. It can fire at a rate of 800 rounds per minute for each cannon, at maximum range of 8,400 m or a tactical range of 3,300 m. Plans call for this system's integration with some advanced missile system.

The toxin within the dart interferes with the victim's nervous system, within seconds movement is extremely difficult and the muscle spasms prevent the victim from moving at any appreciable speed. the uzi shoots a beautiful 550 - 650 9 m.m. per minute for a range of 200 meters.

The sniper rifle is chambered to fire .308 ammunition.

http://www.unrealized.com/serpentine/gfx/ithaca.gif
