OCC: Inspired partly by Troy and partly by Pantera's recent RP
IC: He had been out hunting the savage boars of Hil-Falas. These great beasts deserved no pity, rooting up delicate farmland and wrecking havoc in the countryside. No vegetation was safe and the livelihood and survival of a people was threatened.
As Emperor over the lands he could have easily dispatched men to do so but he had been cooped up in the capital for too long and yearned to roam the wild countryside. With him in his hunting party were his trusted captains and friends. Riding great steeds he and his men had fought fairly against these beasts. They relying on brute force and raw savagery and them on cunning, speed and steel tipped spears. Shunning the gauss rifles and shields of the day he felt that man had to return to his roots from time to time.
At last on the sixth day the last of the group of feral boars had been cornered. The great father of them all, this massive beast resembled a bristling angry elephant. Casting their javelins at it they them rode in, spears level. The great beast broke out and gored several men and horses with its tusks. More lives would have been lost had not the young Elhordir sprung from his horse and riding the writhing beast like an angry torm, proceeded to plunge his sword into its eye. This brave act saved the life of Lord Darina and brought much rejoicing to the party.
Triumphant they returned to the captial, to their loving wives and adoring family.
