What exactly are your reasons to inviding Kheldon?
05-12-2003, 03:30
I'd have to ask the same question.
05-12-2003, 03:33
Do you have any estimate what enlisting 500,000 personell, if only temporary, would cost? And why the heck are you invading another country your second day into the game?
Btw, he can ignore you, you know.

As per the nations policy, all refugees were devided up into smaller groups (randomly) and placed in different refugee camps (holding place until they could be integrated into society) near the police and military bases, for protection against a possible hostile recapturing attempt of the refugees from their originated nation.

As the refugees themselves started to rebell, each camp thumped down the futile attempts of a the smaller groups easily.

The camps were then reinforced and the refugees are now prisoners of war.

Edit: Not to mention that no armed refugee was allowed to land on Kheldons soil, which made the emergency operation a lot easier.

[OOC] coul i congt=ratulate you on a pretty good RPing post, pity that your enemy didnt quite go that deep

all in all, a pretty good post for a young nation

OOC: Thank you. :) I like RPing, have been for a few years, though it's my first time here on NS. Have played nation leaders on various MUDs though, so things are falling into place. ;)

OOC: I wonder what I'll do with 8% of his population. :P
05-12-2003, 11:16
An emmisary has been sent to the The Republic of The Horrible Psychotic's government, demanding the surrender of the Republic. The PoWs are to be kept until proper exchange plans can be worked out.

The rest of the Empire's primarily military forces are mobilized and ready, keeping the scattered PoW camps(former refugee camps)subdued.

Reserves are on high alert.

OOC: really hes godmodding, no nation can support more than 5% of its total population for the military. You can ignore him for that
05-12-2003, 11:19
OOC: I'm a firm believer of IC consequences for IC actions. He rallied up that many men, it must have cost him a lot, leaving the rest of the nation emptied and undefended. My forces are keeping his unarmed, unorganized and scattered forces subdued. If he godmodes any further, I will ignore him. :)

We thank you for your offer. We are currently trying to get in touch with the leaders of the attacking country. We are going to try and solve the rest of this incident peacefully, though they do not respond or if they will not negotiate, my allies and I are ready to prepared to go in by force to settle this. We are hoping that it will not come to that stage.

Due to the continued hostile stance of The Horrible Psychotic, the Commonwealth of Celairdor has decided to mobilise 500,000 troops, a half of her standing military, to aid her ally and neighbour, Kheldon. These forces include one squadron of light bombers and one squadron of fighter escorts. These troops will be used to strengthen Kheldon's border defences and to strengthen the guard on the prisoners of war, and will be supported by the nation of Celairdor. The first wave is due to arrive in 1 day

If the situation has not been resolved within 7 days, or if The Horrible Psychotic makes any further aggressive actions, the troops are instructed to instead move towards The Horrible Psychotic's capital and seize control until hostilities are at a close, or until the people of The Horrible Psychotic succesfully rebel, and thus removing from power the warmonger who currently leads.

To support this action, the Commonwealth has dispatched a small amount of aeroplanes to drop propaganda leaflets across the more densley populated lands occupied by The Horrible Psychotic in the hope of causing the people of those lands to rebel against him for his actions.

ooc : you're military is entirely imprisoned surely, so who is going to burn the lands? you're own peasents? besides surely that would leave you're country in ruins when/if any hostile forces withdraw :P

Kheldon have you stolen the name of my Nation? I do not like the fact your name is Remotely Similar to Kildom because that name I made up. You are a godmoder and a Poser.
07-12-2003, 04:40
Just so you know Kheldon, Kildom won't even think twice about invading your nation.
07-12-2003, 06:08
ooc : is named Kheldon because that is his nickname in other places and not to mimick Kildom.
07-12-2003, 07:37
Kildom thinks everyone is after him/her don't mind Kildom

Keam will help Kheldon and send 2,000 Regulars to protect Kheldon from any agression. Supporting this force is 2 destroyers

With use of trucks and air transport, the POWs from the The Horrible Psychotic's offensive are starting to be transfered to varioius camps in the Commonwealth of Celairdor; who has more resources to safely hold the prisoners until the incident has resolved.

Doneval, the Emperor of Kheldon thanks the nation of Keam but states that no combating forces will be required for now, and hopefully ever. The Emperor would gladly accept the use of sea transport however, if Keam wishes to help.

OOC: If we're doing anything "wrong" or such, do let us know. I'm still somewhat new to this, so not 100% into how everything works. :)
07-12-2003, 23:34
250,000 of Celairdors remaining standing military have now been given orders to station amogst the various PoW camps in the commonwealth at a ratio of 1 soldier per 2 prisoners in preparation for the arrival of the prisoner transports from Kheldon.

The prisoners are still considered to be the property of Kheldon, however in the interests of freeing his military to defend his nation Celairdor has offered to recieve and hold them in his place.

OOC : as Kheldon said, I too am new at this so if i am doing something wrong or some such, please let me know hehe :)
08-12-2003, 09:08
Due to mounting civilian pressure, Celairdor has had to withdraw some of her troops from the lands of Kheldon. There are currently about 400,000 troops left stationed in lands of Kheldon aswell as one squadron of light bombers with escorts. The government of the commonwealth hopes that this action will relieve public tension.

I am Patrick O'Connor First Field Marshal of Skibereen, upon the orders of my great President Boru I have been instructed to dispatch one-thousand Skibereen guerrillas with the express orders of assassinating politicians of the The Horrible Psychotic. The Federation of Eldorian wishes to come to the aid of her allies and will deploy 50,000 troops for Kheldon and allies to use if military action is required.

On terms that these troops will be used as a police force to be used to sway off any damaging of lands and economical damage done to the lands of the Horrible Psychotic.

The Federation of Eldorian also wishes to contribute to the funds of producing and distribution of propaganda to the citizens of the Horrible Psychotic.

This is now you're final chance to cease hostilities with Kheldon. If you do not co-operate with Kheldons demands then the combined armed forces shall attack your lands. Be warned that the the Isle of Stratics currently holds approximately 500,000 of your population as prisoners of war.

You have 24 hours.

Celairdor has regathered the remaining 400,000 in the lands of Kheldon, aswell as 2,100,000 additional troops, part of which is the withdrawn air divisons, across the border to join them in order to place pressure on The Horrible Psychotic to take up his last chance to surrender.

A half of Celairdor's remaining standing military is restationed to the PoW camps, whilst the other half is currently stationed in the commonwealth/being recalled from leave.

As these troops are dispatched the protests once again flare up. Due to the fact that the protestors are mostly students the government chooses to ignore them for as long as possible.
10-12-2003, 17:10
Due to a lack of any sort of response, Celairdor has ordered that her troops begin moving towards the nations capital as planned. Though there is some enemy resistance, there is very little due to the earlier imprisonment of a good proportion of their populace.

Current casualties to Celairdor are estimated to be approximately 75-100 soldiers, currently no fatalities, all of which were caused by friendly fire.
10-12-2003, 17:16
The Horrible Psychotic refuses to negotiate with anyone. If invaded, my orders are to burn everything in spite so all you get is the land. My military of upwards of 45 million go to war for blood and honor. Not for land, this is not an effective deterrant against us. We have close to unlimited armory, thanks to our Arms Manufacturing business supplying weapons to my government for exchange in staying in my nation and continuing their exports from the comfort of the welcoming land of HyenA.
11-12-2003, 04:13
Celairdor is pleased to announce that due to the apparent lack of defence it has managed to achieve a good speed, and has progressed approximately 35% of the way to the capital, and predicts it will arrive in 2-3 more days.

Unfortunately on the marching some of the soldiers started playing catch with a grenade and the pin came out. Reports say that all soldiers nearby will live, and that most will one day perhaps be able to play catch again.

Back in the lands of Celairdor, there are still some anti-war protests however fewer than before the start of the war. They have seen the obvious lack of any sort of defence, and so have sided with the government of the commonwealth in their view (in general) that the liberation of The Horrible Psychotic is in his people's best interests. There are of course still some protests.
12-12-2003, 08:50
Celairdor is pleased to announce her troops have arrived in the capital of The Horrible Psychotic, however there seems like all traces of the dictator have gone, leaving behind a shell of a government. Somewhere in the region of 100 troops overall now are injured, there are however still no casualties inflicted by the enemy.

Celairdor has ordered the troops to withdraw, deeming The Horrible Psychotic to be no more threat to her allies.
12-12-2003, 16:29
Kheldon has moved an occupation force of 200 000 into the nation of The Horrible Psychotic. The numbers include support staff as well as the infantry. With accompanying vehicles.

50 000 troops releaved Celairdors forces in the capital and the rest has taken position or moving to take position among the military and communications bases of the nation.

The idea is to make way for the extensive PoW release that will start in the coming months and continue for a while, releasing them in small numbers to prevent the releseased forces to immediatly mobilze for more conflicts.
12-12-2003, 16:33
Thalin has mobilized a force of 200 000 to send support Kheldons temporary occupation of the nation of The Horrible Psychotic. Targets for the forces are any improvised locations, but primarily already available military and communications facitilities.

Primary objective is to work as a peacekeeping force to the probably shocked population. Attempts are made to get in touch with the current government, but has so far been fruitless.
